We had a great time. Out away from a lot of people. But, close to a lot of amenities. Very quiet too.

Great house. Had everything we needed. Most rooms and beds were adequate. Kitchen was well stocked. Great information provided on things to do. Futon and pull-out couch in basement are not for sleeping.

Exceeded our expectations. More comfortable and we’ll stocked than any other vacation home we’ve stayed at. Two couples and three young children were easily accommodated with room for more if we had needed.

Great location near Hunter mountain. Super clean and spacious. Plenty of room to spread out and relax. Hot tub and fire pit added to a wonderful experience.

The property was beautiful and the home was very clean with many amenities. We rented it for our wedding weekend, had makeup, hair and pictures all done on property and it was more than enough space for us. It worked so well. Thank you.

Choosing wether to set up chairs by the river or fire pit was our hardest nightly decision. During our 5 day stay we visited Catskill, Woodstock, Phoenicia and Hunter/Tannersville, all a short drive away. The area is also a hiker's paradise. Our favorite outing was the 5 min drive to Circle W to pick up sandwiches, then 2 minutes to the trail that goes to Palenville Overlook. We ate our lunch sitting on thrones made of rock looking at one of the most amazing views the Catskills has to offer from 1700 ft of elevation. When we have time to go back to the Catskills we will definitely be checking this property first for availability! Great stay!

I booked this property last minute and Peter was able to accommodate us! The house is beautifully updated with everything you need for a great vacation. Comfy beds! Plenty of room. Hot tub was great. Outdoor fun with fire pit, trampoline, and games. The stream is beautiful. Will definitely be back in summer!

This is the best rental home I’ve ever stayed in. The waterfall / swimming hole nearby really sets this property apart. The house was beautifully appointed, incredibly clean, and comfortable. Other perks were the ping pong table and hot tub. Definitely recommend this property!

We rented the house for Memorial Day weekend. The house is clean, updated, well maintained and exactly as described. Everything is in good working order. Property is very scenic with a creek and a waterfall at the edge of the property. Closes to good restaurants in Saugertites and Woodstock. Communication with Peter was very easy and professional. If we head back to this area I would certainly rent this property again.

We spent 10 days at Peter’s amazing home and could not have had a better time. The house was spotless, comfortable, warm, inviting and very well stocked; plenty of towels, cooking supplies, paper products and cleaning products. As other reviewers have mentioned, the house was also very kid-friendly (a plus since we were traveling with our 4-year-old daughter and 1-year-old twin sons); electrical outlet covers, nothing in reach that could break, a high-placed lock for the basement door, etc. As for the property, it was absolutely breathtaking: huge yard, fun trampoline for the kids, amazing scenery, occasional wildlife. We even got some incredible family photos on Easter that we will cherish forever. Another plus is that Peter was very quick to answer any questions we had about the hot tub, grill and anything else. Literally would text back within 5 minutes, sometimes even faster. We had so much fun during out stay and hope to go back again someday!

Beautiful property, on beautiful plot. Had a great time with family and friends on winter break. Hot tub and wood fireplace were a huge bonus. Went skiing at Hunter, tubing at Wyndam and sledding in the backyard. Highly recommend.

We had a fabulous stay! This property is beautifully and thoughtfully furnished, with several gathering/conversation areas and plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen is outfitted with anything you could need. The outdoor area is amazing! Lots of privacy, beautiful views, and the kids had a blast wading in the creek (with supervision). The beds are comfortable and bathrooms are recently renovated and very nice. Location was ideal; we did some great hikes, visited farm stands and some of the small mountain towns nearby. The house met the challenge of warm days and cold nights with no problem. We especially loved the fireplace in the living room. Peter was easy to reach and quick to respond to any questions, and the welcome packet he sent had loads of great information on nearby attractions and restaurants. We can’t wait to return!

We had a great trip to Peter’s house! My kids would tell you their only disappointment was the lack of a bear sighting :) We did see lots of other fun wildlife that was less intimidating for the adults. :) Peter was incredibly responsive from the beginning through the check out period. We were traveling during covid and needed to stay isolated for high risk people in our party. This house was perfect. The stream in the yard is great to splash in without others around, the waterfall right there is gorgeous, and the yard is huge for lots of fun outdoor time with the slip and slide and various ball-games. Walkable is a great swimming hole, which was empty before 11am, except one day. We could drive to do curbside pickup at the store in town, which carried most of what we needed. The farm stand down the road provided lots of good food options as well. We only did takeout one night, at the Deer Mountain Inn, and it was delicious.In the house, the rooms are spacious and we all fit comfortably. The two queen beds were amazingly comfortable, which is high praise from some of our people with picky backs. The only tricky thing is that the AC doesn’t reach 3 of the 4 bedrooms, which made for a few hot nights when it got really hot outside. There were plenty of fans around the house which helped and on most nights, open windows did the trick well. The AC was perfect in the kids’ bedroom and main living room/kitchen/dining room (awesome open floor plan). The bathrooms were all lovely and it was great to have three for our group of eight.The kitchen is well stocked - lots of plates and bowls, many baking pans, a hand mixer, a coffee maker, a milk frother (that we didn’t use but cool to have), and more. We cooked up a storm and it was great!The hot tub was a great amenity and the adults and kids all enjoyed being in it. It was easy to follow the directions in the house manual Peter has created. The ping-pong table was great fun for all ages, as were all the rest of the games. All said, it was a fantastic trip and we would stay again.
