We had the most glorious family vacation at the Jeremiah Smith House on Cape Cod! From top to bottom, it was sheer perfection!!! Upon arrival, Mo and Pam greeted us at the house and gave us the grand tour of this amazing property, which far exceeded our exceptions!!!! The photos don't do this house justice, seriously, it was AMAZING!!! Mo and Pam were so incredibly kind and knowing that we were there to celebrate my mom's 80th birthday left her a bottle of champagne along with a note in the refrigerator, wow!!...so incredibly thoughtful!!! The shed was loaded with everything we could possibly need/want to create the most memorable family vacation. There were beach chairs, pool floats, lawn games, fishing gear, beach umbrellas, kayaks, paddle boards, I mean, you name it!...it was in there! The back deck dining table sat all of us very comfortably and it was a perfect way to start the day with a cup of coffee overlooking the sound as the sun rose to welcome in the new day!!! Would definitely stay here again!...thank you Mo & Pam for sharing your exquisite home with us, absolute PERFECTION!!!

Our family had a wonderful week in Eastham at our dream house! With 6 adults and a toddler, we needed lots of private as well as common spaces. The house, furnished with antiques and nautical decor, is very welcoming and provided a warm gathering place for all of us. The family/great room ran across the back of the house, affording gorgeous views of the Orleans Town Cove. The 2 large upstairs bedrooms had amazing water views as well. The entire basement is furnished and provided a quiet area for our son, daughter-in-law and grandson.We also loved the deck and pergola for morning coffee, afternoon cocktails as well as al fresco dining. The pool was an added bonus, a warm respite after venturing into the chilly Atlantic! Walking through the backyard brought you to the dock on the cove, complete with kayaks and paddle boards. Additionally, there was an entire shed filled with life preservers, lawn toys, beach chairs, etc.
The owners, Moe and Pam, have created a lovely oasis in a private setting, yet so close to shops, restaurants and beaches. Moe was quick to answer any questions I had prior to our visit and even sent a Cape Cod guide to us in the spring. He also called me shortly before we left to see if I had any additional questions and was very helpful with his responses. Our daughter and son-in-law were the first to arrive and Moe and Pam were on the premises to "show them the ropes." They even left a bottle of champagne in the fridge with a lovely, welcoming note! Our family will always treasure the memories we created here!

Owners were there to greet us and show us around. House is well cared for and has a beautiful view of the water. We made very good use of the pool during this recent heat wave. We played plenty of games around the big dining room table and coffee table, did a puzzle on the table in the kitchen, and ate all of our meals out on their deck. Loved our stay. Thank you Moe and Pamela!

We traveled to the Cape for a one week stay at the Jeremiah Smith house with our three adult sons, their spouses, and our grandson. We thoroughly enjoyed the gorgeous sunrises and views, gardens, pools, pergola, and large outdoor deck. Each couple had their own private bath and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was a bit small for a group of 8 trying to cook together but had all of the necessary pots, pans, and tools needed to prepare our meals. We’ve stayed in more modern homes in the past so this was a change for us but we enjoyed the antique feel and historical ambience of the home. Moe and Pam were gracious hosts!

Jeremiah House really exceeded our expectations
This was our 2nd weeklong visit to the Cape. This time with our new granddaughter. We liked being farther out on the Cape, between Chatham, Wellfleet, Orleans…
There was so much to do at the house from the pool area, the dock area with the firepit (where we had happy hours), the basement with the bumper pool. Lots of family fund and memories. And Moe is an excellent host!,.

Last Hurrah to the Cape!
Amazing experience! Owners were gracious and accessible throughout the entire process (including the week we were there (owner was available via text for any/all inquiries)). BEAUTIFUL property - pictures do not do it justice. Had everything our large group (ages ranging from 3-60) needed to have fun and stay occupied. The owner told me he wanted this to be our "best vacation ever", and I am hard pressed to recall a vacation that compares. Highly recommend!

Family reunion week in the Cape
We had a great time at this property. It was the first time that our three generations could be together in almost 2 years. It was the perfect set up for multiple generations. The pool was fantastic. We had no idea that we would spend as much time on the dock and on the water as we ended up doing. The kayaks and standup paddle boards were a great addition. The shed was well equipped for all our beach adventures. The location was central to so many great beaches. The Knack was about a 2 minute walk away and had great lobster rolls and ice cream. We would absolutely rent this property again.

Wonderful week
We had a wonderful week at this property. It’s every bit as beautiful as it appears in the photos. The owners were lovely and easy to communicate with. The home had everything we needed for a fun and relaxing summer vacation. I hope we can stay again in the future.

Best Rental House Ever!
We have rented vacation houses for years and years and this house is by far the best! Moe and Pam could not have been more hospitable. The house is appointed with love and care. The outside grounds are beautiful. The location is central to everything. We enjoyed every second at their house and would definitely like to come back.

Amazing waterfront property
This home is an incredible property to spend your Cape Cod vacation on. Moe and Pam leave no stone unturned from communicating with us throughout the process to keeping this home to perfection. We enjoyed the views from the home weather we ate on the deck or sat under the pergola watching the kids swim. The kayaks, paddle boards were also a plus I can’t say enough good things...I would return!

Wonderful family getaway
We have rented many homes over the years on the Cape and this house was far and away the best house we have ever stayed in. It’s well stocked, clean, beautiful and the location is beyond perfect. We can’t wait to come back. Pam and Moe were the perfect hosts. Thanks again for your hospitality!!

Amazing Property!!!!!!
We just spent a week at this house and had an awesome time. This house has everything you could possibly need to vacation. We have been renting for years on the Cape and this place is very special: kayaking, paddle boarding, the pool, etc. We loved it and can’t wait to go back!!!!!

Great Family Vacation!
Our first time using VRBO, and it exceeded our expectations! The house is large, comfortable and well equipped. This is not a sterile rental, it has charm and warmth. For families like us who have small children, the pool is gated and the dock is clearly visible from the house. Life jackets for all sizes are provided. The pool area and pergola are beautiful. Views can’t be beat ! Our family used the kayaks, paddle boards, and fishing gear. The location is walkable to food, ice cream, mini golf, bike rental. We biked to Coast Guard Beach, lovely! A huge plus is that every bedroom has its own bathroom. Moe is a great host, very accessible and eager for his guests to enjoy their vacation. Highly recommend!

A perfect home on the Cape...
My family, which spanned from 1 years old to 73, couldn't have asked for a better place to spend our week together this summer. I have rented many vacation homes and this was by far the best. The grounds, which lead to a lake where we spent time paddle boarding and kayaking, are beautiful and the perfect place for my kids to run and explore. The heated pool is perfection -- nested outside the house overlooking the water, with plenty of room to nap in the shade. And the interior of the home provides plenty of space to hang out at night, read, play games and attempt to finish a NYT crossword puzzle! The location is good -- close to a few great beaches, walkable to a grocery store and a few restaurants and a quick drive to other wonderful towns on the Cape. Also, the owners couldn't have been nicer and more accommodating as we planned our stay and throughout the week. If you forced me to say one thing in the con column...it would have been nice to have a slightly larger kitchen. All in all, a wonderful stay and we are already planning to come back!

What a find !!
This house is an excellent choice for a larger family looking for a bit of luxury to go with their summer Cape rental. It offers so much more than your typical Cape house in that there is a beautiful heated pool with a generous sitting area … which overlooks the amazing vista of the Orleans Town Cove. Additionally, their Oar House is chock full of (good) beach chairs, umbrellas, body surf boards, skim boards, fishing rods, beach/pool toys which really cuts down on how much you have to pack/bring for your vacation. The kayaks and paddleboard were a great addition and much-appreciated. There’s a sail boat too, but we never ended up using it. The deck overlooks the backyard/pool/cove and has ample seating (for at least 12-15) and a well-functioning grill and a retractable awning.
Inside, they’ve done a great job updating an older house. There’s a well-stocked kitchen on the main floor with an excellent array of updated appliances overlooking the beautiful backyard/cove/etc. There are ductless A/C units throughout the house which work pretty well. The bedrooms are well-appointed and most have their own TV as well as access to their own bathroom, which is a great touch. I personally would have loved it if there was one room with a king bed, but that’s simply not a huge deal. The downstairs is well-furnished and has a nice TV and a sitting area and bumper pool and lots of games … and easily room for at least 4 to sleep comfortably.
The geographic location of the Jeremiah Smith house is ideal. Although on a map it appears to sit almost on Route 6-A, it is actually on a quiet dead-end street just north of the Goose Hummock Shop. Although technically in Eastham, it sits right on the Orleans border and has easy and convenient access to great outer Cape destinations to the south (like Chatham and Monomoy), to the North (like Coast Guard Beach, Welfleet, Truro, P’Town), and certainly to close-by destinations to the West (like Skaket and Rock Harbor) and to the east (East Orleans and Nauset).
The owners take pride in their beautiful spread and made us feel comfortable and welcome. We loved our week at this home and hope to return in the future. Enjoy !

Great Outdoor Amenities
A beautiful home with so much to offer outside.....the sunfish sailboat was really fun. We enjoyed using the kayaks and paddleboard as well. Beautiful pergola right next to the inground pool where we ate dinner most evenings - complete with a gas firepit. The week we stayed happened to not be the best beach weather which made the outdoor activities the home offered so important. Location of this home is within walking distance to many shops and ice cream places. Also very short drive to several beaches.

Best Family Vacation on the Cape
This was our second year in a row spent at the charming Jeremiah Smith House and we all had a wonderful and memorable vacation here. Our family of 10 just love the location with the spectacular water views of the Nauset Harbor leading to the ocean, the access of the Wellfleet beaches and dining at fine or casual restaurants. The area has it all. The home is warm and inviting, appointed with many fine antiques, comfortable bedrooms each with their own bathroom/shower, a well stocked kitchen that would please any gourmet cook, and outdoor grill on a spacious deck with plenty of seating for all. The pool is such a bonus to our family and was used everyday to either cool down after spending time at the nearby beaches or just lounging while admiring the gorgeous views. Our grown up kids spent hours enjoying the paddle board, multiple kayaks, sunfish, sailboat and sitting by the fire pit in the evening hours down by the shore line.
We thank the most gracious owner Moe for all of his welcoming to his beautiful summer home and for allowing us to have memories to keep forever . Our hope is to return for another wonderful vacation in 2016. The best vacation!

Exceptional Home
This home,as opposed to just a house, was breathtaking! Every room was beautifully decorated and spotless. Everything you could possibly wish for was included with this house. Spectacular deck, water views, superb location, and the pool was amazing. Kayaks and sailboats were also available. We had 9 people and a toddler and the home was more than spacious. Each bedroom had its own bathroom which was a huge plus. Everything you needed for a day at the beach was there too. No need to bring much with you. Upon arrival the owners were just leaving. They were so kind and generous. We absolutely loved this home and plan on returning next year. Perfect vacation spot!!!

What a View!
We just came back from a week stay with our extended family of 10. This house exceeded our expectations. The view from the upstairs rooms, and the living area and deck is breathtaking. We enjoyed many meals on the deck. The dock is lovely for water sports and we even went crabbing from the beach which appears at low tide. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. The laundry room was a big plus. The heated pool was used almost every day; it was also wonderful, as was the outdoor shower. The owner was eager to help us with any questions before our visit, and luckily we only needed to contact him once during our visit. This was our 14th family vacation, and this is the first review I have written because I was so impressed with the house. I would go back tomorrow if I could!

Excellent Vacation Experience
We loved this house. Not only was it beautiful but comfortable as well. Very clean and very well maintained. Centrally located with easy access to stores and sightseeing. The owner was so gracious. Layout was fabulous. If you like water views then this is the house for you. I would not hesitate to recommend this beautiful home to anyone.
