They love the island they love the beach surf and my granddaughter, especially love the swimming pool. We ate out every night and they really enjoyed all the restaurants on the island. We’ve stayed at the Inn before and always loved staying there when we have 4 or less.

Reviewer Comments: It was our 25th trip to the island and 3rd time at The Inn, decided to bring the grandkids as they have never been out of our hometown of Elkhart, In, and they seen so many things on the way down but the island and beach and they loved the pool. We were in #411 and they loved looking out at night and strolling the beach at night but couldn’t keep them out of the water. They were either in the gulf or in the pool all day think they’re waterlogged! We tried several restaurants on the island but really had our best food at the Catalina in Bayou La Batre. Thought pizza at Chevron better then pirates but who doesn’t love a great bakery and those cinnamon tools are to die for. Young Women in the office with glasses can’t think of her name very friendly and wonderful to work with. Will always comeback to The Inn pending I only need 2 bedrooms. A wonderful time was had by all in your little piece of heaven!

It’s close to the beach and had a great view. We rented a golf cart for a few days and that was a fun way to get around.

Condo was perfect! Wonderful views from the balcony and everything we needed for our days at the beach and pool! Had one rainy morning and it was a great just hanging out in the condo too!

The mattresses on all the beds were absolutely ridiculous. They are not even fit for a deer camp . The couch in the living room needs to be replaced , the chairs in the living room are filthy . The patio furniture on the deck is rusted and needs to be replaced. You need to send the email out sooner upon arrival because we had to travel 17 miles back the other way for a store for paper supplies. We paid 1600$ for 4 nights and will not stay there again .

Some of us had to take the time and clean for a bit before we would even feel comfortable staying. There was dust hanging from the ceiling fans. When you would use the restroom you would notice how nasty it was behind the toilets. Dust piled on the baseboards. Some of the furniture chairs were stained so much that we put sheets on them because we didn't want to sit on them. And then the mattresses on the beds. They were absolutely horrible. Every time someone turned you had this horrible creaking sound that would wake the other one up. And they were so hard and uncomfortable. If we could have got our money back we would have left. Also when we went to the kitchen to make breakfast all of the baking pans that were so corroded over and discolored and rusted up that we couldn't even use them. The kitchen could use some updated pots and pans. We were there for 9 days so we would have done a lot more cooking. I don't believe all of the units are like this one but unit 411 was not good. But with some mattress changes and some cleaning it could be.

Also only one bedroom had an extra blanket. No extra blankets in second bedroom. The view was great and the condo was quiet, which we enjoyed!

Great property and location.

Everything was exactly as described. Loved the location and the condo was so well upkept. As others have said the main bed was not a king and they were all pretty uncomfortable mattresses but we absolutely will be using this company and condo again in the future!

The check in and check out process was so easy. It was perfect for our girls trip. We all agreed we would come back and bring families there. The mattresses were a little uncomfortable in each bedroom.

This was the worst VRBO rental experience ever! There was no communication from the management company prior to arriving, except for billing notices. I sent messages through the VRBO app to the property manager asking for access code to the property and check-in directions and they were never responded to. I ended up googling the property manager’s office and was able to gain access after we had waited two and a half hours for a response. There was nothing at the desk but a plastic flyer that had instructions on how to get access to the keys. The 411 Unit was not as described. First of all the listing clearly states the master has a queen sized bed, but it does not. All three beds are lower quality full sized mattresses. The unit had holes in the screen, the patio furniture was tired and corroded. The grill was nasty. We ended up having to go and get supplies to clean the unit (some vacation). They only issue two rolls of toilet paper and one roll of paper towels according to the folks at the desk, it’s like coming to a house. Except my house has what I need. We went and purchased some additional supplies as directed. Also the kitchen did not have all the utensils necessary to cook. Mainly there was no spatula. Also the pans were worn out and dated. Not really a relaxing “home-like” experience. We finally gave up after three days and left the unit. It was that bad. Overall my impression is that the property management staff here is burned-out and they really do not try and provide any level of customer service, or take any pride in the facility units and their quality nor do they care about the guest’s experience. They mainly put out a “it’s the owner’s problem not mine” attitude on customer service. Often there was no one at the desk after 3pm and they took an hour for lunch too. Save your money and try another experience because this unit 411 and staff managing the property for The Inn @ Dauphin Island was not as advertised and less than helpful.

The condo was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. We had an awesome view of the beach from the condo with just a short walk on the boardwalk to get to the beautiful white sand. The complex had two pools which we used daily. This is a beautiful small island with limited choices of restaurants and shops and taking basic essentials is a good idea. We discovered Greer’s Market about 15 miles away for groceries. Would love to come back soon.

This condo was perfect for our quick weekend away. It was clean, the furniture was in good shape and the balcony view was perfect for cocktails!! To be honest, we didn’t use anything in the kitchen except the fridge for drinks. We took the ferry to Ft Morgan for a day trip Saturday morning and we went fishing with Red Sky fishing on Sunday. So we ate out both days. My only complaint was the sheets felt like cardboard, the pillows were flat and the towels needed to be updated. Next time, I’ll bring sheets, pillows and towels.

The property was nice with a great location. I would recommend some oven mitts and more kitchen towels. It would be nice to have a dresser in the master bedroom for clothes.

We really enjoyed our stay! Loved everything. The amenities are a little out dated. We walked in and a huge cockroach was in the kitchen and our sheets and towels were stained. Also if you expect to get into contact with the owner ASAP, don’t even try. Sent him 2 messages and no response. But view is amazing and everything was else was perfect
