This is one of the best vacations we have ever had. We have always loved coming to the South Haven area, but this property took it to the next level. Amazing house with perfect accommodations to make you feel at home. The private beach was a short walk. It is the best beach in the area we have come across. Not busy; perfect sand; mixed of days with bigger and smaller waves. We could not have been happier. Would love to come back again someday.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home. Linda was wonderful to communicate with. We felt right at home and had everything we could possibly need. Linda was very responsive with my questions in the moment. We had beautiful weather and enjoyed checking out South Haven. We found their info/photo book very helpful. We would love to stay here again sometime !

Perfect getaway close to home
My family and I needed to get out and have some time away from home after the shutdown from the Covid outbreak. We needed a safe place away from crowds and a home that would fit all 12 of us. Linda's house fit all of our needs and more! The house was big enough that we never felt like we were on top of each other. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Linda's house is very well stocked with towels, sheets, pots, pans, entertainment, beach toys/rafts. She even included age appropriate toys for the kids. They had everything we could possibly need which helped a lot with trying to avoid grocery stores. Linda even included clorax wipes, masks, etc. to help us feel safe. My family loved the backyard, which was bug free! We ate dinner out there every night. The beach was a short walk from the house. Lake Michigan is at a high water level but we still had plenty of space for our family of 12 on the sand. The huge water mat was our favorite activity on the water and we are so glad that Linda has that available for guests. My only couple of suggestions would be to have a cutting board available for guests. We were cutting fruits and vegetables on cardboard to not dent the countertops. Also, the house has a lot of decor/heirlooms in it. It would be hard to baby proof the home if a young child likes to grab at things. All in all, we are so happy we chose a place with private beach access instead of downtown South Haven. We hope to come back!

This property is as described: luxurious. It housed the twelve of us easily in four bedrooms, a family room, and four baths. It was impeccably clean and welcoming. We had no issues at all and found room to be together or apart—as the moment required.

Some days trips to St Joe's Kids Museum, Robotic Dairy, Farmer's Market and South Haven North Beach were delightful and informative Our family ranged in age from 6-87, and ALL had a superb time. You felt like you were living in a forest with black squirrels, red fox, deer, chipmunks and resting hummingbirds in their terraced backyard. We had nightly fires complete with smores and games. We cooked both inside and outside. The house was so spacious with more than enough room for our family of 12. Many great family meals were shared in their lovely dining room and kitchen. Everything you could think of was provided, including spices and coffee. We actually went home with clean clothes thanks to the laundry facilities. This does not look or feel like a rental home, as it had so many homey touches. The property is beautifully maintained with high end finishes. Some days trips to St Joe's Kids Museum, Robotic Dairy, Farmer's Market and South Haven North Beach were delightful and informative Our family ranged in age from 6-87, and ALL had a superb time. Would highly recommend this gorgeous property for any family gathering

Great home near the beach
Great home and it meet all of our needs for our family. We especially liked the big kitchen where several people could work at the same time without hindering each others food preparation. It was also nice that the home had 3 floors so the smaller children could take naps and not be bothered by the noise of others in the house. The beach was a plus too as it was only a short 5 minute walk. We will be back.

Perfect Michigan vacation!!
We absolutely loved our stay here in Covert! The home and property are gorgeous. We saw deer, fox, black squirrels and hummingbirds everyday. The private beach was beautiful too. The home was equipped with everything our family of 10 needed- plenty of seating (indoors and out), linens, games, beach towels & supplies, laundry facilities, paper goods and everything we needed to cook for a large group. We had no little ones with us this time but they are all stocked for kids and babies, too! Our favorite vacations are in Michigan and I would highly recommend this lovely home!!

What's There Not To Say About This Property
The title of this post says it all. This house is so amazing. We had three families stay here for the week. One family took the basement, one took the main floor and the other took the upstairs. Worked out perfect. Every room in this house is amazing. The house is so nice you almost don't want to leave. The private beach is perfect. And it's so nice to not have to bring any beach supplies from home. They provided it all (towels, beach towels, umbrellas, rafts, etc..). House also came fully stocked with everything we needed for the week. Just had to buy our food and drink. besides the beach, the kids loved the easy access to the two tennis courts. It's literally a 30 second walk and even though it's for the Linden Hills community, it's like it was only ours since it was so close and we were the only one to use it. Can't say enough about this house and the owners. They were very accessible. Whether if be responding to an email, text or picking up the phone when I called. You won't be disappointed when you arrive at this home.

I can't begin to tell how much we love staying here. The home is amazing, the beach is close, tennis courts are basically next door and the owners are a joy to work with. You couldn't ask for a more well supplied place to rent. Just knowing that all you need to worry about packing is clothes and food is such a comfort. There's a viewing point at the top of the dune where we had many a happy Happy Hour. Everyone found something to love at the beach...white sand, cool water, miles of pristine beach to walk and search for stones and beach glass. I personally love the location of Linden Hills...easy off the interstate but far enough away to be quiet and secluded. Close to shopping (South Haven and Saugatuck), restaurants, wineries, and Michigan's plethora of summer festivals.
Hopefully the owners will continue to share this luxury residence for years to come.

Wonderful Vacation Home!
This home (and the area around it) is absolutely wonderful! We visited in 2007 and returned with more family in 2008. Everyone was very pleased. The house is beautiful, clean, spacious and comfortable. I wish we had more than a week to enjoy it! With a young family, it has been nice to know that we don't need to overpack. The owners have coolers, sports equipment, beach towels, beach toys, beach chairs, etc. We went to the beach everyday, took some hikes, played tennis, had a fire in the pit, grilled out, and made dinner in the gourmet kitchen. And, I can't forget the master bedroom shower! The house is a hidden gem in the woods with the private beach just a short walk down the lane. We'd go back any time!

Wish I Were There Right Now!
Absolutely loved this home! The owners have taken great care to fully stock the home with every essential needed for a great vacation home. Everything was exceptionally clean which is SO important to my family. Top of the line furnishings. Beds and linens great. LOVE the washer and dryer not to mention the gourmet kitchen and ice maker. This area is so peaceful and quiet. We love the long walks on the beach and bonfires in the evening. Great spot for the kids and family to just enjoy one another. Near by town of South Haven really cute and Sherman's was a great spot for ice cream. Saugatuck and wine tours fun as well. We all look forward to coming back! Highly recommend this rental. Great people to rent from. You get more than advertised!

Wonderful Vacation
We have stayed at this home each of the last 2 years and could not be more pleased with our stay. The home is everything we could want for our family and guests and the beach is a short walk down the wooded road. The beach offers privacy and the home owners have thought of all the things we could need so we don't have to bring much for the kids to play with. We will stay there again, hopefully for years to come.

Architectural Digest Quality & Family Comfortable
We stayed in this lovely home for a week. Everything is up to date, top of the line and well maintained. The owners have done a wonderful job of organizing everything to make your holiday easy. The house is stocked with everything from beach mats to marshmallow sticks for the fire pit. There is so much to do that our grandchildren had an absolutely wonderful time. When we tired of the beach there was a fabulous large screen TV or the children could play tennis or basketball. We had a fabulous week.

Amazing and Beautiful Property
The pictures and descriptions do not begin to do this beautiful vacation rental justice! The area is very nice; densely wooded and private. The beach is lovely, and a short walk from the house. The house itself is astonishing. We had no idea that it would be so nice. Everything is top of the line--way nicer than anything we have seen in any other home we've rented before. The kitchen is unbelievable--custom cabinetry and granite countertops--and just about every cooking implement you could wish for--if you want to cook on vacation, haha. Each room is beautifully decorated--it looks professionally done, but is still very comfortable and cozy. We found the owners to be very easy to work with, and we didn't think their rules were unusual--they just asked that we take care of their home and their stuff. Our security deposit was returned promptly as promised--but then, we followed the rules! The house was very well stocked with everything we needed--and the large screen TV in the living room was especially appreciated in our family. We had a wonderful time, and are planning to (hopefully) go again next summer. Thanks!

Absolutely spectacular!
We just loved the house. The house is very cozy and has all the upgraded appliances in the kitchen with everything you need to cook at home if you like. As you sit at the dining nook you have a great view of the wooded lot. We enjoyed seeing all the wild life we saw deer, squirrels and the birds that were feeding from the bird feeder. The bedrooms are wonderfully decorated and fully furnished. The bathrooms had heated towel racks and basic toiletries. (Which was a nice touch) The private beach was just down the road. We enjoyed looking for beach glass and rocks that we brought back home with us. The attention to details far exceeded our expectations. We are looking forward to going back next summer

WOW!!! Wonderful home this was beyond our dreams! Thank you for opening your home to us. My wife and I loved the kitchen and bedrooms and what a great master bath. Our son loved the beach he had so much fun he talks about the beach even today. The extras you have in the home for a traveler are great. All top of the line and clean. I can't tell you how important it is when you travel that the home you rent be clean. You remind us of ourselves very clean we felt right at home in your home. As you well know we have booked for next year all ready. This may become a habit for us. I would recommend your property to everyone we have rented many times in Colorado, Florida and Michigan your home was the best by far. Your pictures and discriptions are right on the money. Again thank you and can't wait until next year.

Security Deposit Not Returned in Full
Please beware that the security deposit listed for this property is seen as additional income by the owners. Regardless of how well the property is maintained, the owners will take issue with something upon the renter's departure and will retain a large portion, if not all, of the security deposit. The owners do not understand contract language and will impose thier "expectations" beyond the contract requirements to justify retaining a portion or all of the security deposit. Specific examples include: 1) the owner expected all linens and towels to be laundered and folded prior to departure, even though the contract clearly allowed for the dirty laundry to be placed in hampers in the laundry room; 2) the owner took issue with the cleanliness of the refrigerator upon departure when the only items remaining in the refrigerator were items there upon arrival. I would not recommend this property.
