Great beach house in Somers
'Mimosa' è una grande casa sulla spiaggia situata direttamente dietro il Somers Yacht Club e vicino alle migliori spiagge balneari di Somers. Costruito negli anni '60, la casa in mattoni in stile retrò ha anche un favoloso bungalow tutto collegato alla casa principale da un piano di calpestio.
Il salone open space, cucina e sala da pranzo ha grandi finestre con vista mozzafiato sulla veranda e sul giardino. È caldo e caldo in inverno con riscaldamento a gas istantaneo e un fuoco di legna accogliente e fresco d'estate con ventilatori a soffitto.
La casa principale può ospitare 4 persone e ha un letto matrimoniale nella camera da letto principale, due singoli nella seconda camera da letto e il bungalow separato ha un letto matrimoniale e poltrone
'Mimosa' è una facile passeggiata per il favoloso General Store di Somers per pranzo o caffè o salta in macchina ed esplora le cantine e le spiagge della Penisola.
Se una vacanza romantica è ciò che stai cercando, o un momento di relax lontano dalla città, 'Mimosa' è l'ideale. We had a wonderful time at Mimosa cottage. Such a a good location & pretty garden and loved the outside deck for eating over the hot summer days. Beds very comfortable and the house had everything needed. Although a few hot days would have been nice to have air con. We would love to return soon. Susan

Seamless from start to end. Great place - a short stroll down the beach from the General Store and close to Yacht club. A very friendly, relaxed and welcoming community with old school values and time to stop and say hello.

What a lovely place!! The decor is the perfect blend of rustic/seaside/homely comfort and the garden is absolutely beautiful. While we only booked for one night to attend a family wedding nearby, it would have been great if we'd planned to stay longer to enjoy the ambience and explore Somers a little more. Thank you!

What a lovely place!! The decor is the perfect blend of rustic/seaside/homely comfort and the garden is absolutely beautiful. Classic Somers beach house with a relaxed feel and everything you need. Fabulous location with a 2 minute walk to the beach and 5 minute walk to the general store. Gorgeous garden that attracts the birds and local wildlife. I would thoroughly recommend this property for your next beach getaway.

Cosy retro beach house
Our group of 4 adults and one child thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend at Mimosa Beach house. Everything we needed was provided and the house was comfortable, cosy and warm. We took several long walks along the beach and loved returning to sit in front of the fire. The house is close to the beach and the Somers General store but the beautiful garden makes it feel secluded and private. Thank you Libby

We had a long weekend stay over cup weekend. 3 afults and 3 kids (11, 11, 12 years old).
Fantastic property. Plenty of room. Beautiful gardens! Very beach house, very comfortable. Loved the kitchen, nice modern and functional with everything we needed for cooking. Well stocked pantry with all the little tid bits you need but always leave home. Comfy couch!! Nice large wood fire that kept us toasty warm on that miserable Monday with all the rain. Loved the furnishings in the main house and the bungalow. Plenty of space for outdoor living, two seperate outdoor settings for meals and a huge deck. Nice and clean!
The beach is a super easy walk across the road. Good for kids swimming and fishing.

Great house and garden with a retro feel!
We loved our stay at this fantastic house & garden. It's excellently equipped and has a warm homely feel. The garden is very tranquil with lots of seating and a weber BBQ. Position is perfect, just a short stroll to beach and shops. The second double bedroom is detached from the main house which makes this a very flexible property.

Beautiful place to stay
We went to Somers for the weekend recently and stayed at this beautiful property. It was quiet and peaceful, in close proximity to the beach and general store and had everything we needed/wanted: well-equipped kitchen, comfy beds, toasty fireplace for colder nights and a nice garden. It really felt like we were getting away from it all – we only wish we could have stayed for a few more days. Also Libby was very helpful and accommodating. Highly recommended!

The setting is lovely whether enjoying it from indoors, the front deck or the garden. Great location too, close to the beach and a nice stroll to the general store.

Our family of six stayed at Mimosa House recently and would have loved to stay longer. The house was very comfortable with a charming old seaside ambience and only a stones throw to the beach and a short walk to the local cafe. The kitchen was all equipped with good quality homewares and the bedrooms were very cosy, especially the larger one that was semi -detached.We used the deck and the garden area to dine as the weather was perfect . Just what we needed for our family get together. Also handy in the fact that it is only an hours drive from Melbourne through some of the prettiest countryside and lots of local wineries.We hope to get back again on our next visit to Melbourne.Thank you Libby... we loved your house and very good value for money.Teresa and family...Cairns
