We were beyond happy with our stay! Linda and Dave are the most gracious hosts. The property has everything you could need - a well stocked kitchen and bathrooms, plenty of towels and information about the area including Glacier NP. We felt like we were coming home every evening after spending the day in the park or hanging out at the beach by Whitefish Lake. The location is central to everything in the Flathead Valley.
It is such an amazing, beautiful area. This is a complete 10 out of 10 property. Thank you so much for making our vacation a wonderful memory!

Beautiful place close to the Glacier National Park

This was our second time staying at the Bed N Bale. The location worked perfectly for our group of family and friends for a weekend in Whitefish and Glacier NP. The property was conveniently located..close enough to town for runs to the grocery store but far enough to feel quiet and secluded with access to trails right from the rental. Linda was always available and helpful if needed. Definitely recommended.

The farmhouse is beautiful and has everything you need to make your stay in Whitefish enjoyable. Linda is friendly and responsive, and offers excellent advice. She makes you feel at home! The property is gorgeous with excellent seating areas outside and lots of beautiful flowers. The cows and chickens are definitely a highlight. There is a lot of room inside - plenty of sleeping choices, a well stocked kitchen, and accommodating bathrooms. Everything is clean! Getting to the surrounding areas is easy. We definitely recommend staying here!

This property was the best of our trip! Linda was very responsive and fun. House was immaculate and very well stocked - even with fresh farm eggs. Loved feeding the streets and watching the chickens roam. Great location close to charming downtown Whitefish. We will definitely return!

Wonderful home away from home!
This large home is a wonderful place for a vacation stay. It has plenty of space and all the things you need! Linda is very attentive to her guests needs and checked in frequently to be sure everything was going well. We especially loved the quiet, peaceful location and the opportunity to be a part of the farm - feeding the animals and collecting eggs:-). Great place to stay
This was a great place to come baxk to at the end of a day in the park. We ate all our meals here as the place had everything you need for cooking. Linda was a great hostess and even had a cozy campfire waiting for us when we got back to the house our last night there. Loved it!

Glacier Home Base
This was the perfect property for our trip. Linda is the best host we have had in 7 years of VRBO-ing. Fresh eggs, the friendliest hairy highlander cow, wonderful beds and luxurious sheets, and homemade huckleberry jam made our home base experience over the top. 30 minutes from airport, 45 from park interest, 10 minutes from Whitefish restaurants., great location. We would book again.

Wish we could stay longer!
This was our favorite place to stay on our trip west! We did not have enough time to stay here and wish we could have made it last longer. The lodging was cozy with lots of character! We had plenty of space and slept eight of us very comfortably. We hope to come back and visit soon! Linda was a gracious host and we are grateful for the great memories!

Quiet living on the farm
Bailey's Bed & Bale is a secluded, quiet mountain and farm retreat. We enjoyed everything about our 4-day stay: the rustic log construction interior and its personalized lived-in character with everything you could possibly need. It felt like you were living in someone's house, not a rental property. We enjoyed roaming the grounds, feeding the cows, playing with the dog, watching the chickens strut around, and spotting an occasional deer in the yard. Linda was very accommodating and helpful with recommendations for places to eat or things to do. Prior to our visit she gave us notice about entry passes for Glacier National Park and getting a rental car reserved early because of the shortage. Her hospitality and friendliness made our visit feel like we were visiting family. Hopefully we will make a return visit to Whitefish and get to stay here again!

Less than 10 minutes to Whitefish and an easy 20-30 minute drive to Glacier. Linda is a gracious host and did everything she could to make sure we felt right and home. It took us about 40 min to get to the GNP west entrance and the drive is very pretty.

Unique Montana Experience

Best VRBO experience to date
If you want to be treated like family, from the check in process to the surprises left to welcome you, this is the place. The cabin was outfitted better than home - everything you needed and more. The farm experience greatly added to our stay and we couldn't have been happier with the accommodations. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Wonderfully unique experience
Our stay at Bailey's Bed & Bale was truly a unique and wonderful experience! The home is so warm, cozy and welcoming, with many special touches like farm-fresh eggs, delicious Bed & Bale coffee beans, apple butter in the fridge, a s'mores kit, a ready-to-light fire in the fire pit and maybe best of all four adorable furry Scottish Highlander cows that even our teenagers had fun feeding and petting! Linda is the most friendly and attentive host. This home is a little off the beaten path, but so charming and quiet, definitely worth a few extra miles! Thanks for making this one of the best memories of our trip, Linda!

Great getaway to Whitefish
The property was beautiful, and the house was immaculately clean. The owners really go above and beyond with providing special extras-hot chocolate and cider for kids, fresh farm eggs, a fire in the fire pit on our arrival, even a bag with masks and hand sanitizer. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking, the beds were very comfortable. Amazing job at decorating-we felt like the effort one puts into their own home was put into this house. We had a very comfortable stay. The only drawback was that it is a little bit far from Glacier National Park (30-40 min drive each way).

The pictures of this house do not do it justice! I have pretty high standards when it comes to renting houses. It is very cute, warm, roomy, and inviting inside. It is well stocked with everything you might need. Linda is a fantastic host who graciously showed us her property and animals. She also provided us with fresh eggs, homemade jam, and other goodies. We loved feeding the cows, seeing the chickens and enjoying the fire pit which was made for us every evening of our stay. It was wonderful having our own porch to sit on while enjoying coffee in the mornings. We would definitely come stay again!

Such a sweet host. Many extra special touches to our stay perfect location— away from noise and crowds but very close to go in for dinner, but one doesn’t need to with the relaxing patio and fire pit at night. Highly recommend this place. Linda is the best!!

Great stay in paradise.
Linda and Dave were amazing hosts! Their property is absolutely gorgeous and in a great location. Linda made sure that anything we could possibly need was available. They added so many nice touches from homemade preservers in the fridge to fires in the fire pit waiting for us in the evening. They really cared about the quality and comfort of our stay, and we will return.

Great family vacation
We drove from Seattle and didn’t get to the property until almost sunset. When we arrived, Linda had a campfire started for us and a welcome basket which made us feel immediately welcomed. If we had any questions regarding our various plans, she knew exactly where to go and who to contact. Also, my daughter, who is normally pretty reserved, really enjoyed feeding the cows and hanging out with the various animals that Linda has. This house felt like a home away from home for us and we really enjoyed our stay! 😀�

The best place to stay!!
We so enjoyed our stay at this house. The chickens and cows were such an amazing addition to an already beautiful, serene, quite and very accommodating house. Linda the owner was the most amazing host, and included so many amazing small touches like a s’mores kit and homemade apple butter. We can’t wait to go back!
