We loved our stay at Sugar Ridge! Private and spacious Eagles Nest cabin with spectacular view. Jacuzzi tub jets didn’t work and a few small things needed attention but overall it was an amazing experience.

The cabin was great! Plenty of room for 8 of us, the kitchen was stocked with pretty much everything we needed, the only down side if there were one was that the dryer didn’t work. Everything else was perfect and we will be staying there again.

Hypnotizing Views
Hosted my wife's 40th birthday party with friends and family. The cabin was as advertised but the view has to be experienced in real life. We were pleased with the accommodations and will be return visitors.

My family stayed at the Eagle's Nest for the weekend of my daughter's wedding in Eureka Springs. Her bridesmaides, my in-laws, and our two month old infant granddaughter also stayed. The location is gorgeous with fantastic views!! We couldn't get enough of sitting on the balcony when we had down time. It was roomy enough for all of us to spread out and get ready for the wedding ceremony. We had everything we needed to cook dinner and a big breakfast for which we brought groceries. We had a small issue with the air conditioning, but it was resolved quickly after a phone call to the property manager. The beds were all comfy too! We enjoyed our stay!

Perfect, except for the long steep gravel drive for the bikes, but even that was doable. Plenty of space to park the trailer, with a little maneuvering. The pictures of the view do not do it justice, amazing views!

Check in and out were a breeze. The property was quiet and atop the “ozark mountain”. Very pretty inside and amazing views from both levels. The couch in the living room was very broken in, it sunk in and you slid to the center and the hide a bed would not pull out. The dust on the deer head and everything high up was pretty bad. The dryer took 3 hours to get a shirt and leggings dry. The beds were very comfortable and we slept like babies. There are way more positive than bad at this cabin. Would definitely recommend, just needs a good cleaning up high and an update on furniture/appliances.

It was good. We brought our dog which was nice - we did have to walk her down the road to go pee, the hill behind the house is pretty steep. The top portion of the cabin was nice, the carpet in the lower level was a little stained from use.

Unfortunately, I can't give a rating for Eagle's Nest. Although we had confirmed booking from VRBO, when we arrived to check in, there were people already in our cabin. I approached them and indicated I had a reservation booked there. They politely shrugged their shoulders and smiled. I called the property manager and Wayne answered. I told him we were checking in to Eagle's Nest but it had people in it. He put me on hold and then made me go through all of the information on my booking and he said that we could stay in Buckey's Place, a similar cabin nearby and down the road from Eagle's Nest. He said it was just like Eagle's Nest inside. I told him that's great but we had a confirmed booking for Eagle's Nest. He then looked at me and said..."you got a problem! I told you it was identical." I talked with my wife and friends and since we had driven 10 hours to get there, we took Buckey's Place. It was a nice cabin, for sure, however, not the one we booked. Is this the professional way for a manager to handle bookings? I think not. He told me next time we go to book on VRBO to get their price and then call him up and he'll give us a better deal! Ha, it seems that's just what he had done to us! No thanks!

Wonderful Family Setting
We stayed in the family cabin with perfect views of Beaver Lake. We were able to accommodate 10 adults, 3 babies and 4 young kids easily. Really is a perfect place for families to gather.

Very clean, TRAMENDOUS view!
Loved staying here! Had a beautiful view of beaver lake, and was able to see plenty of fireworks. It was pretty hot during our stay but cabin stayed perfectly cool the whole time.

Beautiful with the most awesome view of the lake. Clean, well taken care of.

Gorgeous Cabin With Views for Days
This cabin was absolutely beautiful. The lake views were amazing, and the master bedroom shower and jacuzzi tub made it over the top! This cabin is just a short drive from the lake, which was gorgeous and so fun. Highly recommend!

Great cabin for large family
Our family of 13 (7 adults and 6 children) found this cabin to be a lovely, homey, roomy site for our family reunion. The cabin itself offered plenty of comfortable sleeping for all, and the living, dining , and cooking spaces were inviting and comfortable. The views from the cabin are breath-taking, and it is a joy to sit on the decks to watch evening sunsets. The cabin sits high above Beaver Lake and is part of a small family resort, so the owner or staff are always on-site or easily available. Owner is very helpful and friendly and sets the tone for the relaxed atmosphere that made our stay special. Our family loved all the nearby outdoor activities (hiking and swimming especially). These activities are not accessible directly from the cabin, but are within a very short drive. We all had a wonderful time here.

Beautiful view, wonderful cabin!

beautifully appointed
PROS
The house itself is gorgeous - and with a million dollar view.
Both decks are equipped for outdoor sitting.
Management office is a step away - and the staff is very nice and easy going.
Location is actually very good - close to the ES and the marina
It is stocked with some necessities - but those seem random.
Shampoo is OK - no conditioner or body wash. I brought my own stuff.
CONS
NOT VERY CLEAN! Floors have not been washed is months. Countertops and furniture are plain dirty - bring chloral wipes (I did and was happy about it).
Furniture is torn and very dirty - come on, you are charging premium fees; should at least, change the torn upholstery! Layers of dust on all surfaces.
Towels smell like mold. I would have brought my own should I have known.
On the last day in the house I found a live scorpio in the sink - while doing dishes!
Beware! Lot's of tics in the woods - but this is something to be expected in the wild nature.
Overall - if they clean up and update the furniture - it will be a great place.Should be an easy fix, people!

Great family cabin!
We loved the cabin! Great family vacation! The view was awesome!

Great staff
We'd like to give 5 stars but here's why we won't--steep gravel drive needs paved. Upper deck needs sunshade. Hot Tub on deck would be nice. Larger coffee pot. Needs more (larger) mixing bowls in the kitchen. But the staff was very helpful, the view was great & the home was laid out well and beautiful. We will most likely return.

Great Location, awesome place
There was about 8 kids and 6 adults and this place worked out very well for that many people. We stayed in Bucky’s place and the cabin was absolutely beautiful. The view of Beaver Lake was awesome, just a fantastic place. Rich was very accommodating. I would recommend this place to anyone for whatever reason. The cabin is located about a mile from Beaver dam. I will be a returning guest in the future. Thanks again Rich for an amazing vacation

Great Place For a Small Reunion
We loved our recent stay in your cabin. We had up to 23 people at a time in and out of the place, and they all expressed enjoyment.
We would definitely consider staying here again.
