All was good except the floors were very dirty and there seem to be a roach problem. But overall it was great

We loved our stay at this property. The amenities were nice; we swam and played pickleball daily. We loved sitting on the porch watching the sunset over Jinks Creek.

We loved staying at Mamma Mia! There is literally nothing I could have asked for better - we did have some issues with WiFi being slow or not working, and Sheila and Alex dropped off a WiFi extender for the apartment! In the meantime, it was wonderful to be able to be unplugged and not have a reason to use a screen. Alex and Sheila were so kind, very responsive, and fast.
We also requested a late checkout the day of, and they had no problem allowing us time to leisurely go out.
My husband and I went with two other couples and it was exactly the perfect size for us.
My favorite part was the fully stocked kitchen. Not with food but with plates, pans, knives, spices… anyone who has stayed at other rental properties might have run into an instance of using one of three knives provided for food prep, and it is more dull and useless than a plastic butter knife. This kitchen was STOCKED. I love cooking, so that was genuinely a highlight for me 😂
The location is perfect. It is very easily walkable to the beach. Maybe a 4 minute walk…. With a view of the waterway (dolphins seen in the morning!) Without the ocean front prices!

Really great stay at Mamma Mia! So cute and super cozy. Nice clean pools and short walk to the beach. Everything we needed was there and there are stores and restaurants very close by.

A great place for our family in a perfect location. We ate every meal out on the deck watching the wildlife at the creek and the sunsets were amazing. Loved the pools and the convenience of having the beach a small walk away. Owners had great communication with us during our stay.

We had a fantastic time in Ocean Isle. The condo was very clean and well furnished. The view of Jinks Creek was wonderful and the walk to the beach was short and easy. The kids enjoyed the tennis courts, pool, and fishing from the docks behind the condo. Thank you for letting us rent your place! We hope to be back again!

Loved this vacation! Property was fantastic, perfect for our group of 4 - 2 teens and 2 moms. Location was wonderful, quiet and peaceful. Loved the sunsets on the front porch overlooking the marsh. Close and quick walk to beach, 2 pools, one oceanfront. Property owner was great to work with.

This was our families first trip to the area, and was positively outstanding. Thank you for sharing your amazing home. Such a beautiful, peaceful spot. We had lots of laughs, new adventures, adored the beach and abundance of nature. The condo was perfect for our family. The decor, cleanliness, comfort, and convenience made it one of our favorites now! We definitely will be back to visit again and would recommend this hidden treasure. Family Vacation
The property was beautiful with even better views. Very easy access to the pool and beach. We needed a special accommodation and they were more than willing to meet our needs. We can’t say enough about the place from cleanliness to location. Also the beach storage closet was a nice feature. Would HIGHLY recommend staying there.

OIB in love with Starboard by the Sea
This was our 2nd year in a row at Starboard by the Sea! This unit was perfection! It was beautifully decorated inside, very clean and welcoming. We had everything we needed from bed linens and towels to a fully stocked kitchen and all the beach gear from chairs and an umbrella to the beach cart to haul it all on the short walk to the beach. Alexa was a nice touch, providing our island soundtrack for the week! We rented a 2 person kayak and took it out right off the “backyard” dock, every chance we could. The sunsets do not disappoint! Sheila and Alex were lovely! We hope to be back next year!!

First family vacation
We brought our son, 18 months, here for his first vacation. We all had an amazing time. The condo was a very short walk to the beach which was great for a toddler who needed to go home and nap. The pools were great to have has well for the days that were too hot to drag him to the beach !

A Fantastic OIB Property
We had the best time staying at Mamma Mia! The sunsets from the porch are the reason we love staying on the waterway! Condo was clean and checkin was easy. We left today and are ready to go back!

Great Location
We love the view , appreciate all the amenities & the sharing of the owners chairs and beach buggy. We have a BNB in Mountains and we appreciate the extras the owners have in kitchen. My only constructive feedback was no control over the temperature of A/C .. got hot at night. The internet connection was poor , tv constantly buffered when trying to watch live baseball games every night. Unable to locate router to reboot.

Overall, a nice property. We did have issues with the electronic lock, but with neighbors help (friends with owners) they were resolved. Ocean Isle is a great beach and the location of the property is very nice with nice development amenities (pools, beach access, etc.). Noted a few roaches, which given the season and recent storm issues at Ocean Isle we understand that this might not be the norm. In any event we had a great time at the beach and Mamma Mia met our needs.

We absolutely loved Mamma Mia! The decor was SPOT on and everywhere we looked, we were reminded that we were on a relaxing beach vacation. The sunset views were spectacular! The convenience of the bedding and towels were very much appreciated. The condo had everything we could need, including outdoor beach necessities. The kitchen was compact but was very well appointed. We lacked for nothing! The pools and beach access were awesome! We highly recommend this condo!!! Thank you so much for your hospitality!!!

Truly is home away from home
Loved this perfect rental,it has all you needs for a vacation, this place is very cozy, and is easy access to the beach and in the the evenings you get to see a beautiful sunset from your balcony, you cant beat that! Look forward to renting this place again.

August 20th - 27th stay
There was an issue with bugs this stay that had not happened in the prior years. Three beach/water beetles were found three days in a row. Told Barbara and Mr Bill; he informed the property manager and they said the condos were sprayed each Saturday. Maybe they didn't spray very well the Saturday before; bugs were not an issue before so I think it is a one time issue.

We were so happy with our stay at Mama Mia! The view of the quiet water from the lovely front balcony was beautiful and peaceful. The condo is VERY nicely decorated and was appointed with everything we could possibly need. We loved our stay at OIB.
