We stayed for a week over Thanksgiving. My husband and myself, and one of our sons and his wife and 2 kids had a wonderful time. The house was SO CLEAN and comfortable. It is very well designed with great views. I cooked Thanksgiving dinner in the well equipped kitchen, although I did make sure to bring specific dishes etc I knew I would need. Bring your own knives, if you'll need them, there are no sharp or serrated knives. We fished everyday, and caught 2 catfish and 2 small bream. The water level was lower than usual during our stay, but could still fish off the dock and from the yard. We used the firepit for roasting hot dogs and making s'mores, and just sitting around it talking at night. We brought badminton, corn hole, horse shoes, fishing poles and bb guns for shooting cans. The tv reception was good with rokus. Surprisingly, we tried several local bbq restaurants and they were not very good. The town of Lexington is a bit run down. We found we were better off cooking. Just sitting outside on the nice back deck or on the dock is so relaxing. There are lots of ducks, geese, and herons. All in all, it was the perfect comfortable place for us to get together and reconnect.

This was our first time staying at this property and we have zero complaints! We enjoyed every minute here and hated to leave. We enjoyed fishing right from the yard. Our grandkids (ages 3 & 5)came down to visit for the day and caught their first fish! The property has its own private ramp where we were able to put our boat in the water which was a big plus not having to drive to another location. The property was very clean inside and out, private enough to enjoy the peacefulness of the lake, yet the view of the lake let’s you enjoy seeing other boats and watercrafts on the water. The property manager was excellent to work with from booking until the time of departure. Again, excellent stay, zero complaints, and if the opportunity arises again, we will definitely be back. SG

The property was exactly as presented on VBRO. Inside was comfortable, clean and well equipped. The outside deck was our favorite place. The dock and walk-in swim area were a hit with our young grand son. Maybe next time there will be a kayak or canoe available?

This property is amazing! When we arrived we were immediately in love with the place. The home was immaculate and the grounds were perfectly beautiful. There's almost a 360 view of the lake from the house and property and we never got tired of just sitting and enjoying the views. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Lovely house and property location!

The location and view was really beautiful! It was very clean and I’m sure it was just an oversight but the microwave had spilled grease or butter inside. I cleaned it myself when I noticed it. Lots of spiderwebs kind of grossed us out. I think taking a quick broom to the webs outside on the deck and the dock would have made it perfect! We really enjoyed our stay.

Well maintained. Would have been nice to have the entire garage. We had a truck and not enough room in the garage. Nonetheless, the view was gorgeous and the interior was very tastefully decorated.

The house and property was more then I expected. Great outdoor and deck space, extremely private, updated kitchen with a great master suite upstairs. Will definitely be renting the house again when it gets warmer.

Gorgeous peaceful place. The property manager was so kind and even put a live Xmas tree in there for me and my 98 yr old mom. Wonderful home and experience all around. 5 stars.

Having to work in our NC office and with Covid running wild, I needed a secluded home and this property was perfect. House had everything I needed. Very Clean. Hopefully I will be back with my family when we can use the Lake.

I’d take me all day to summarize this exquisite property. Everything was perfect. The decor, amenities and of course the lake. Caught 11 brim fishing off the pier. I’d recommend this property highly. Only one little bitty hiccup. We couldn’t get master TV to work. But it didn’t matter because we were out on the deck soaking up great family memories. Will definitely rent again and again.

We throughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Absolutely beautiful location on the pointe, with the lake on 3 sides. The house was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed. Kids enjoyed jumping off the dock for hours and husband enjoyed all the great fishing spots. So comfortable and relaxing! Highly recommend and hope to come back!
