Perfetta per le piccole famiglie, questa casa classica vanta quasi tutti i bagni delle camere da letto (due e mezzo), ampi ponti, lucernari nella grande sala ed è a soli 20 metri dalla spiaggia. Grandi ponti per rilassarsi con la famiglia. Per le grandi riunioni di famiglia la casa è di fronte a 7974, 7975 e 440.

We were very happy with the Myra Dee. It is one of the few small properties left that is semi-oceanfront and a very short walk to the beach. The place was very clean. The beds are fairly new and very comfortable. The bathrooms inside also were clean and seemed to have been updated recently. The double outdoor shower is a nice feature. The kitchen could use an update but it was fine for a beach experience. We had a brief encounter with ants but that seemed to be more an issue of leaving food uncovered on the counter - not a big deal. We forgot to order sheets and towels but Kitty Hawk delivered them in less than an hour. Beach items in the shed were in good order including chairs and an umbrella. The basketball hoop was broken - a small glitch for the hoopsters in the house and something to fix. The outside grille was filthy but I cleaned it thoroughly and it worked very well. WiFi worked fine. Check in and check out via mobile app and the electronic key worked perfectly - very easy. We would stay here again for sure.

Outdoor showers great, secluded, dual. Toaster oven - only one heater worked. Picture of deck on website didn't match reality. House was cool when we checked in. Keyless door lock - great. Overall good - close to beach access. Beach access bushes 'need' very significant trimming; i.e. access nearly totally blocked.

This is a great smaller beach house that is very close walk to the beach. The bedrooms are very close and bathrooms are shared so I would recommend a small family. As you can see from the pictures it is outdated but for the price its fine. They did have new flooring and carpet throughout The kitchen was well stocked with supplies for cooking. The only two negatives was the couches and futon were very uncomfortable and worn and that there was only 1 chair for outside seating. Overall good stay and would rent again.

We have been using this realtor since 1990 for our vacation rentals at OBX. We would highly recommend them. This is the first time that we stayed at this house, Myra Dee. It was a great house. Kitchen very well stocked. Great views from the deck. Very close to the beach without paying ocean front prices. We would definitely stay at this house again.

The location is wonderful. The house itself needs some updating and some TLC. Wooden Deck chairs were non-usable (but replaced by rental agency. TV in family room not working. Repaired by rental agency but would stop working on fairly frequent basis. Not enough seating in "family room" right off kitchen. TV room has sofa and UNCOMFORTABLE wicker chairs . Family room and kitchen table in bad shape at least you didn't have to worry about damaging them. Shower water pressure in bathroom (without washer) was poor, water often sprayed from hose connecting shower handle rather than shower head. Too many TV remotes some without backs and/or batteries. Coffee machine not functioning right. Tried to make 8 cups...35 minutes later 2 cups made..not sure what the issue is. No clocks/alarms in at least 2 bedrooms.

Our family was satisfied with this cottage. We did miss having a garbage disposal and some of the beds were not comfortable- one of the twin beds and the futon in the den. The maintenance was slow to bring us a replacement propane tank for the grill- 24 hours. Other than that it was great.

We have stayed on the Outer Banks for years. This was my favorite house. It is an ocean view house from the top deck. The walk to the beach is very short - just like an ocean front home. The beach is very wide and not crowded at all. The ocean was perfect for all ages. The deck space on both levels is wide and goes around 3 sides of the house - gave us lots of outside living space. Everything worked! The a/c, the refrigerator, every appliance! Two outdoor showers and a clothesline for wet bathing suits and towels! A gas grill and a nice backyard! We will definitely re-book.

House is in a wonderful place. Close to the beach. But it feels like it needs some TLC ASAP. Not sure who cleans but bathrooms were not great. Furniture was dirty looking and one seat in family room was a desk chair. Coffee maker did not work...cobwebs in corners, funky smell in house. Deck furniture was a disgrace. SPEEDY response from maintenance to replace broken wooden furniture with plastic new. I'm not seeking big screen tv but tv that works would be nice. Had to have someone come to fix cable and it didn't stay working. TV in other room did not work. Furniture was not comfortable. This place was not a cheap price but I don't feel we got our money's worth.

Location is great, would have enjoyed it more if the living room furniture didn't smell like body odor so much. Needs to be updated with a few new items, such as seating. A lot of stains on the furniture that make it very unappealing. We stayed there 23 years ago and I think it has the same furniture. Never got to watch TV due to bad cable. Would have liked to have watched the local weather forecast. Property was clean just not the seating. Needs to have some seating outside on deck, we love sitting out to eat and listening to the ocean. Very disappointed with no where to sit and watch the stars comfortably. We love the house and location, just needs to add a few nice things for the money we spent. I did wash a few blankets because they needed it bad. Luckily I brought one as well. Small back room TV did not work there either and the futon was a disgrace! I think the owners need to address the condition of this lovely home, nothing against the realty.
