This charming rustico, beautifully positioned on the hill boasting breathtaking views, is only 3 minutes from the lake by car.The house is newly renovated with great craftsmanship by local artisans and the materials used are an integral part of the surrounding nature: stone, wood, cork, calcium silicate, cellular glass ,iron with olive, lemon, rosemary and flowers that enrich the beauty of the house. The interior of the house, , was remodeled by the owners assisted by experienced professionals and energy consultants in the minimum details; a “symphony” of art, colors and fabrics. The Toldino House is the first house on Lake Como with a climate R certification.
There are 3 bedrooms each with its own bathroom and kingsize shower. It sleeps a maximum of 6 people. The special feature of each bedroom is the window from which one can admire sunrises, sunsets and the typical boats navigating the lake of Como.
The kitchen and the dining room are enjoyable for lunches and dinners.
One enters the house into a glassed in veranda which can be used for reading and relaxation.
The house is located in Cernobbio, on a private street overlooking the first basin of Lake Como accessible by car with private parking. The house is equipped with free WI-FI, satellite TV in each bedroom, air conditioning throughout the house including the veranda, controlled mechanical ventilation 24 hours a day (natural air circulation).

We ended up staying at this house and the property next door because of a electrical issue (a nuisance rather than a safety issue). Both were very nice properties with some features that were slightly different but overall you couldn't go wrong with, as Dr. Seuss would say, "House 1" or "House 2".
We enjoyed the neighborhood and liked the fact that we could walk to and from town (good exercise on the way up the hill!) or take an exhilarating, but safe ride up and down the hairpin turns.
Many thanks to the hosts who were very helpful before and during the rental. In the end, it certainly was fortunate that they are hosts with several properties under their management.
It was a very nice tie to visit the Como area at this time of year. We hope to return again. And yes, the view is as advertised.
