The property is off the beaten track, quite literally! As such it's quiet, unspoilt and devoid of screaming kids and noisy neighbours. At night the only noises you hear are the distant sound of the surf, and the jungle noise. If it's quiet relaxation you're after, it really doesn't get any better. The wifi is unexpectedly good, we were able to work and stream videos, so no issues with communication at all. Air-con in the bedrooms mean that sleep is relaxed, and the beds are very comfortable. The pool is small but absolutely gorgeous, as it obviously provides instant relief from the heat of the day. And all of this without mains electricity - how environmentally fabulous!

The track to the house really is a track! If you're renting a car, probably best to get a 4X4. We didn't, it wasn't an issue, but it would have been more comfortable!

The location is great! It is very peaceful and relaxing. Wonderful view. And the host is very nice and welcoming.

It is a very beautiful part of the island, with the view facing East towards the morning sun. The night time musical/rhythmical sounds from the surrounding woodland is so relaxing too. I have been to Martinique many times due to work, staying in hotels in FDF and it can be a busy place. Due to Covid 19 and Martinique being in lockdown, I thought the freedom of this type off accommodation would be best for this visit to the Island. But honestly, the Blue Paradise villa was so peaceful and the frogs and insects with their night time music so relaxing. When I return for my next visit, hopefully the Blue Paradise will be available for my stay because I will definitely book it again. And a big thank you to Audrey (Owner).

This next comment has no reflection on the owners of this property, Martinique suffered a large storm a week before I arrived. The flooding caused lots of damage and a failure of the fresh water supply. The whole island was affected. We had no running water but my collogue and I were able to fill up a 55 liter water container (with wheels) supplied by the owner which they were willing to keep topped up, but it was easier for us to fill up at our work site. On the flip side, it was better for us to deal with no running water at the Blue Paradise than it would have been in a hotel!
