The house was perfect, the space was enough for my big family to have an amazing time. The architecture of the house was exactly what we were looking for.

We have been staying at this lake front home for years and it has become our favorite place in the hideout. We celebrate our Family Thanksgiving at this house with a picture perfect view of the lake. The owners of the home are wonderful people. The house is clean and everything that is described in the listing is there and more. We stayed at this property for a family weekend getaway with our adult children, their partners and our grand baby. The location on the lake was lovely and peaceful. The house was spacious and well equipped, but needs some attention. Window shades were broken and bathrooms could use some updating. Considering the cleaning fee, the house should have been cleaner than it was(cobwebs, dust, greasy dishes) We made use of the fire pit each night but it was not on level ground, making it a bit hazardous. The gated community was secure, but homes were very close to one another. Communication with owner and property manager was easy. The property met our needs for a short term stay and we had great weather which helped tremendously. Our biggest complaint would be the exorbitant fees, added to the nightly rate, which nearly doubled the cost! This is unfortunate for property owners and renters

We had a wonderful month at the lake house. Enjoyed every minute of the peacefulness. Beach and pool were great. House was very comfortable. Owners were always at the end of a text or phone call and very hospitable.

We had a wonderful week at the Hideout. This is our 10th year vacationing here, and the third at this specific house. This house has literally everything you could possibly need. Lake-front access, kayaks, canoes, firepit, TVs, WiFi, nice beds, grill, games, and other household items. Just bring your food and your family! Can't wait to come back!

Something for all generations. Swimming, kayaking, doing puzzles. Everything a family needs to decompress.

Wonderful property for 3 generations. . Each couple had separate bedroom, one teen loved the loft, and 3 younger cousins thought the bunk room was great. Kitchen had everything you possibly could have wanted.. Most enjoyed items were the 2 kayaks and 1 canoe- everyone took turns paddling around the lake. Would definitely recommend the Riggins property to anyone wanting quiet, well appointed rental..

The house was exactly as listed, it had everything we needed and was the perfect spot for our Cheer Retreat!!

When we entered the cabin, the cleanliness and meticulous detail in providing a liveable environment were noted from the start. This house was amazing for a girls’ getaway weekend. And it was the perfect place to be snowed-in for a weekend of lounging, game-playing and comfort food. The fireplace was so inviting and had plenty of firewood to keep the atmosphere cozy. The description was spot on and stocked with every essential. We all agreed it was one of the best rentals we’ve experienced!

We had 8 adults and a total of 4 children (two under one year old). This house fit our needs very well. There was lots of room for kids to play, a very large table for all of us to eat, a game room to get away, a beautiful gathering room with a working fireplace. The decor was amazing, we couldn't have asked for anything nicer. The owner was very attentive and answered my questions within minutes.

Our stay was wonderful. House was great providing everything we could want while there. From kayaks and canoes to fishing equipment to everything in the kitchen we could possibly need. We had plenty of room for our family of 10. We would definately want to come back!

This home was in a great location and was very large with very cool wood features! Lots of space. It had a great Kitchen that was well stocked with great appliances and utencils. Management was very responsive to inquires that when clarifying what was listed on property website description. Would have been helpful to update the amenities and give a little bit more detail on website listing. But overall a great stay! FYI....If Kyacking is important to you the dock is not good for launching the kyack's and there was no area for this on the actual property!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room to spread out. We ate family meals and played games at the large dining room table. The downstairs had ample space for the kids to be together, sleep, and play pool and other games. The amenities were wonderful. Overall, a great family getaway.

Better than advertised. Very clean inside with many nice features to accentuate a house on the lake. Plenty of towels and blankets. Owners made the check in process easy. They were easy to get in touch with during our stay as well. The Hideout is a very nice community. We took advantage of the pool and fitness center while there. Overall, a wonderful stay.

This was an excellent property! My first impression when I walked in, was that the on-line pictures don't do it justice. Every room was better and bigger. Wood beams and construction are very nice, along with the antler chandelier.Beds, blankets and linens are all very good. We had 6 or 7 share the bunk room, and all enjoyed it.Living and dining areas are great and large. Sofas and chairs are comfortable. Even the view from dining room is great!Kitchen is large enough and full of storage. (A few more utensils; silverware maybe needed)Basement family room with pool table got a lot of use. (Could use some stools near the pool table.)Deck is really large with 3 stairways down.There are extra life preservers, camp chairs and fishing poles if needed. Shed keeps kayaks, canoes and firewood dry. You can easily launch kayaks from the dock.Fire pit area is a little sloped and so is ramp to dock. But views through the trees to the lake are great, and you are facing West, for good sunsets. Though you can see neighbors property to the South, through the trees, it's still very secluded. Can barley see anyone to the North.Nice area for walks. We played tennis and mini golf (not a great mini golf course) but others were playing pickleball a lot.We didn't use the community beaches, but they looked really nice and would be great for children.Overall, we all really loved the space for getting together. Plenty of space to spread out. We had 12 guests a couple of nights and 10, the others.The quality of the home is outstanding! And the area is safe, secure and peaceful.

This house offers all the amenities you would need to experience a great time away with friend/family. The house is spacious, clean and has all the necessities. We had a great time , fishing , kayaking and just relaxing. The owners are very responsive . We definitely would come back again.

The house was cozy and accommodating for a friends weekend. Everything was great and exceeded our expectations. The property manager was helpful and able to answer any questions we had. We hope to come back again soon!

We had an absolutely wonderful time. The home is BEAUTIFUL. The view of the lake so nice and so relaxing. My family and I have been to this house on 2 different occasions and both times had the most amazing time. Made some great memories. The owners of the home are really good people. Thank you!

Our small family group had plenty of room to spread out in this rustic, unique, comfortable home. The kitchen was equipped with most everything we needed, the Wifi was great, and our questions were answered quickly by the manager. We enjoyed the fireplace, and the lake view! My only concern was the comfort of the beds, but I was the only one in our group who had a problem. However, the master bed is a queen, not a king if that is important to you. There are not a lot of restaurants near-by, but enough if you want to eat out or order takeout. A supermarket and pharmacy are about 10 minutes away. We made a trip to Ritter's Cider Mill for delicious cider, fresh made doughnuts and pies.

What a spectacular location in the Poconos! We stayed in mid October and the leaves were almost peak and it was gorgeous! Love the setting with the rocky hillside, lake and woodland surround. The house had a bit more privacy than others on the lake. The views from the house were great and the house was everything described in the listing. We enjoyed canoeing on the lake, campfires with s'mores and family games. There was ample space for our group of 9 and communication with the owner was really great.

We were overwhelmed by how awesome this property was! In fact, I'm hesitant to give it such a strong review, because I want to ensure it's available for my family to return! LOL. The best example of how great it was, is that we had a minor maintenance problem during our second day. The property manager was incredibly responsive, kind, and immediately fixed the issue within the time window that worked best for us. The four season activities are endless, and all the amenities in the house were great! Super clean, warm feeling, and fun features! We will return!

The pictures in this listing don’t do justice to show how beautiful this property and view is. We came for my moms 60th and she loved every minute of it spending time with family. The owners were incredible to deal with and made it such an easy process. We will be back for sure!
