The house was well appreciated and very comfortable. Great decks, patio and a fantastic dock and boathouse. Our family had a blast, and we’ll be renting this house again…

The house was clean and very nice! Loads of space for everyone.The dock is awesome and perfect to entertain teens and kids, my kids had so much fun jumping from the top deck, literally no complaints. This house was definitely worth it we had a great vacation. And only a 5 minute boat ride from the anna point marina where we rented pontoon from.

I could not BELIEVE the amount of property we got at this price. The views were beautiful, the decks were all divine, the kitchen was nice and big. Also, all of the switches and thermostats were labeled - there was NO guesswork as to what controlled what. VERY wonderful stay. We will DEFINITELY be back!

Overall it is a very nice house and we had a good trip, however it needs some updating, The most problematic was the water pressure, on 3 different occasions the water actually shut off while taking a shower, the WIFI strength was very poor and could not load netflix movies. The cushions both under house and down on the dock are in dire need of replacement, the lights at the dock would not come on or we never found the correct switch. For the number of TV's only a few would actually function properly. Downstairs shower hardware needs replaced, handle was busted and head didn't stay in place. Check in / Check out was simple and no issues.

Excellent location
Just a couple of days getaway for my husband and I so there was definitely more space than needed. We just relaxed, and enjoyed the kitchen is well stocked and store close by. Our first time at the lake and rented a boat, what a beautiful place to get lost for the day. Will visit again!

Beautiful views of the lake, very relaxing setting! Would just mention that outdoor areas are in need of some upkeep.
Communication with Property Manager was unfortunately not up to par, so there is room for improvement here with Vacasa.
Overall, good experience!

Great house with plenty of room and great view
The house was perfect for a large family. Plenty of room to spread out and not be crowded. The outside kitchen and seating area is very nice and the deck at the water is amazing.

Perfect home for the much needed vacation
My family and I had a wonderful stay. Please share with the owners they have the perfect home. The outside decking areas were our favorites. They really embraced the outdoors. It encouraged us to enjoy nature and each other's company. The internet was the only disappointing issue. We never really had access to the internet. It was not a big deal to me only to my children. I was happy just enjoying their company. We did call in the internet issue and the kitchen sink issue. Maintenance did come quickly and attempted to fix the sink but I did notice before we left the sink was still leaking. The tech also reset the router but as mentioned above, my kids were never able to get the internet to work. I apologize, I did not even try. I was happy not being a slave to it. Again we had a wonderful time. We loved there were many areas to enjoy each other and many areas where you could get away and enjoy the outdoors in your own way, on a swing, by the fire pit, down by the water. It was perfect!! To the owners, thank you so much for sharing your home!!

Perfect Setting for Small, Getaway Wedding
We rented this house, essentially because of the beautiful waterfront areas, views, and setting for our very small, getaway wedding (not to mention a covered outside-area in case of a rainy day). Not only were the outdoor areas much better than expected, the entire property is amazing. The house is very nice, with a well-stocked kitchen. We had two great nights by the outside campfire area and greatly enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend this property.

We rented this house so we would be closer to the wedding venue where our daughter and son-in-law’s wedding was being held in Louisa. The house was well stocked and clean. There was plenty of room for four children and eight adults. The weather was perfect and the wedding was beautiful. Unfortunately when I was making the reservation for the house I did not reserve extra days. We were so busy between rehearsal dinner and the wedding that we really did not have much time to explore the dock or deck areas at all.
I would suggest also to remove the loose rug under the dining table or at least put something under it so it does not trip anyone.
Two of the bedrooms are down some steep stairs so I would not recommend sleeping down there if you are older and stairs are a challenge. I would also recommend that the owners have the sleep sofa repaired or replaced that is downstairs as it can not be used as it is now and limits the amount of sleeping space available. We ended up putting the mattress on the floor for my two older grandsons to sleep on. They are aged five and nine.
It really is a very nice house and I would recommend this location.

needs a deep clean and landscaping TLC
this property looks like it was very nice once. The inside was clean except for the master bed. There was dog hair and stains all over the bed cover.
The outdoor areas need some TLC. The grass and weeds are taking over and the furniture could also use some TLC. I'd rather have no cushions than old moldy ones.
they say tiki bar, but it is in disrepair
there are tons of light switches but few are marked and i could find none that actually lite up the lower dock ( maybe all the bulbs are out?)

Very Nice Lake Front Home
Property is very nice. We had a lovely stay.
I would definitely recommend the property.
The only recommendation I have is that the rug under the dining table needs a pad so it does not slip. It was a definite trip hazard to my elderly mother and the dogs.

Lake Anna getaway
We picked a rainy week, but the house was great! Very spacious with all we needed in the kitchen. Would make a great space for a large family gathering. Loved the lake views!

Wonderful long weekend
We had a great stay for Labor Day Weekend! Dog friendly, beautiful views from the house, lots of indoor space for hanging out, deck relaxing, swimming, and made use of the grill and fire pit.

Great lake experience
The house was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We spent a majority of our days on the dock jumping from the deck swimming and kayaking. The fire pit was a nice way to end the day. Would give it 5 stars but some amenities and landscaping could use attention, but the dock is well worth the stay.

Great Property Needs TLC!
Soulmate is a comfortable home with a wonderful basement, outdoor spaces & dock/swim area. The property needs a deep clean and some maintenance. Vacasa did not answer a basic question about mattress sizes on the pull out sofas so we could bring sheets prior to arrival. That was frustrating.

We had a wonderful stay at this generously sized and well appointed home. You can tell the owners care about the quality of the furnishings and the comfort of their guests. The walk down to the dock area was shorter than I expected and the decks are amazing. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect getaway location!
This home had everything we needed and more! There is so much more to the house than the pictures show. The dock/deck is large and has beautiful views. There are speakers throughout the home....and a super great local radio station too!!!!! We will try to come back in the future.

My partner and I like to escape to LKA multiple times a year. This was our first time at this house (our go-to was booked). We chose it because previous reviews stated the fishing was good. If you like to bottom fish or catch anything larger than a perch, this isn't the house for you. The dock is lovely but there must be a huge fallen tree under the surface of the water because our line would get stuck every time we reeled back in. If you're not a serious fisher or just want to try some catch and release, then this place would work.
We are also huge grill people. Unfortunately, neither of the two gas grills would cut on. Such a bummer since majority of the food we brought with us was for the grill.
The beds are super comfy and the deck is awesome. We also enjoyed the tubs.
I'm not sure if we would come back to this house.

Great property right on the lake.
We loved our stay. House smelled clean when we walked in, nicely decorated, great place to spend time to relax and enjoy life at the lake. Nice dock area :-) will certainly return.

Great weekend getaway
Perfect long weekend getaway to lake Anna with the family. House was well stocked. Beautiful deck to hang out on. The outdoor grilling area was out to great use! Plenty of space for everyone both indoors and outdoors. Having queen sized beds and a king are so nice for the adults. We had plenty of room to put our babies pack and play crib as well in the master. We would love to come back and enjoy the house in the warmer months. Only complaints would be that the remotes for the TVs are confusing despite the signs, and they all had dead batteries in them rendering them useless. Additionally the house/outside can use some TLC. A lot of the cushions are moldy, the deck fence was very loose and railings were coming apart and need to be nailed back together for safety. There was a lot of dust on the ground/bugs in the fans. Besides needing some cleaning up the place was wonderful!

5 stars great place to get away
Stayed here with extended family for 4 days. There was plenty of space for everyone. The grill and outdoor space was great. Easy access to the lake, with paddle boards, lots of seating and a spot to dock the boat we rented. Our dog was also allowed and she loved swimming in the lake lol.

Wonderful property with all the essentials
Thank you for a memorable time! The lake is fabulous and the house is so cozy! The only thing is that when we arrived many large branches had fallen off the leaning dead tree in front of the dock and made it hard to access. I think it would be safe to remove that tree for the future

The 2 story dock was fantastic! We spent most of our time there every day. Very well designed and appointed home but could use a little attention.

Great Lakehouse for family getaway!
Pros: Well decorated—even cuter than the pictures; seemed clean and comfy furniture; came with paddle board, board games, and other nice extra amenities, TONS of outdoor living space between the upper (with “high dive” and Tiki bar) and lower docks plus upper and lower deck/patio (with fire pit); good location to navigate up and down the lake; Very dog friendly;
Cons: kitchen was oddly out of essential items like kitchen knives (not a single cooking/prep knife so we went to Dollar General just to have a few paring knives for meal prep), wine glasses (I think there were just three?) and forks (well, not completely none but there were so few forks we had to do dishes multiple times a day to have enough from one meal to the next); 74 stairs from dock to main level of the house but the worst part was a very steep/slick ramp of pavers on the walkway
All that said, we would love to stay there again! I would just bring my own silverware. :)

Killer two story dock and a well appointed home. So happy we were able to bring our furry friend with us. A really great getaway to the lake!
