Great place, plenty of space, good amenities (washing machine, kitchenware), very clean. Getting infos + the keys was very fast and easy.

Just know you'll have to walk quite a steep hill for about 10mn from the centre of town + there's no AC (which did not bother us).

It was a pleasure to stay at Gurugu. everything was perfect: ist was totally clean, there were so many little details to welcome us (Coffee for the first morning, wine for the first evening, etc.), Elena was a great host (she gave us great advice how to find everything and also helped us finding nice restaurants etc.) and we felt so happy there!

Great views over the harbour.

Steep descent to town centre, 1k. If you have a car it can be near impossible to park near the property. We visited during festival/carnival time and one night music very loud until 0400.

The apartment is really lovely. Sparkling clean and spacious. The living room and kitchen are on the first floor with a half bathroom and the bedrooms and a full bathroom is upstairs. The kitchen is well equipped and the host is so helpful and gracious. She even left us a bottle of local wine which was so nice. there are gorgeous views from the living room and bedroom. Very good value in a very friendly neighborhood. San Sebastian is a town the side of a hill, so although this perfect apartment is very close to everything, you do need to be able to manage the steps to get to it. There are some workarounds that make the trip into town and back easier, but the steps could be an issue for some guests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay even with the steps! it prepared us for all of our hikes around the Island!

Parking can be tricky, but not impossible. We were quite lucky.

The shower was excellent and the view were wonderful.

The climb up the hill to the property. However, this is normal in La Gomera A special touch was the lovely bottle of wine that the host left for me.
