Maison très agréable, exactement comme dans l'annonce. David nous a très bien reçu et a également était très disponible. Je conseille vraiment cette location.

Une très belle villa nichée dans une végétation luxuriante , avec une très belle vue et sans vis à vis. La maison est conforme aux photos . Pas de surprise. Nous n'avons manqué de rien. Une cuisine et un salon extérieurs vraiment top ! Un propriétaire très à l'écoute de ses locataires. Nous recommandons vivement cette location.

La maison est nichée dans un superbe écrin de nature, avec une vue de toute beauté sur les Saintes. Elle est très agréable à vivre, avec sa cuisine ouverte et parfaitement équipée, ses chambres calmes et bien décorées. La voile grise est un havre de paix où il fait bon de se reposer après de jolies journées sur l’île. Elle est située dans un endroit très pratique pour rayonner. Notre hôte, David, a tout fait pour faciliter notre séjour dans sa belle maison. Un grand merci David, nous espérons bien revenir !

David est un hôte charmant et a été très réactif à nos demandes. Sa propriété est un havre de sérénité en pleine nature, l'espace de vie à l'extérieur est superbe et permet de profiter pleinement de la vue magnifique. La proximité d'un supermarché et d'une chaîne de produits surgelés (à 5 minutes de voiture) est un plus appréciable. L'emplacement à la croisée de Grande Terre et de Basse Terre est idéal pour partir à la découverte de la Guadeloupe : aucune destination n'est à plus d'une heure.

Nous avons passé une semaine de rêve dans une maison paradisiaque ! La piscine avec vue sur la mer est juste exceptionnelle David nous a très gentillement accueillis mon mari et moi et nos 2 petits loulous avec meme une tres bonne bouteille d apéritif ! La maison,sa cuisine en extérieur et l'écran géant nous ont permis de nous évader une fois de retour dans la maison après une belle journée de découverte de la Guadeloupe Merci beaucoup David et peut-être à dans quelques années pour un nouveau séjour !

Villa enchanteresse avec une vue magnifique, l'espace de vie est juste parfait. Un réel bonheur de prendre son petit déjeuner face à la baie! Tout est parfaitement équipé. David est très réactif au message. Le seul bémol ,les "plombs qui sautent dès qu'on met en route le sèche linge" et qu'un autre appareil est utilisé. Un peu embêtant….

L'endroit est magnifique...se réveiller chaque matin avec cette vue était magique! L'aire de vie extérieure est parfaitement aménagée pour profiter de la chaleur et du soleil tout au long de la journée et aussi pour terminer les soirées dans une belle ambiance tropicale! L'intérieur est spacieux et confortable. La villa est parfaitement située sur l'île pour permettre de l'explorer sans avoir à se déplacer trop longtemps. Enfin, David à bien su répondre à nos questions et s'est montré disponible au besoin. Un super séjour!!

Très beau séjour. Endroit calme, plein de lumière et avec vue sur la mer. David, le propriétaire, est très gentil et nous attendait même à notre arrivé avec quelques provisions comme les épiceries étaient fermées. La cuisine aurait besoin d'un peu d'amour par contre .

The villa is in a spectacular position, the open kitchen in Caribbean style is great (and we loved having there our breakfast and dinner) and From the swimming pool you can admire the Ocean. All around the jungle, even if the city Le Gosier is just around the corner. The only sound at night comes from the jungle, absolutely relaxing! One of the top of our holiday in Gwada. Thanks!

Maison de charme parfaitement intégrée dans son environnement et organisée pour une vie à l’extérieur. Une spectacle quotidien grâce à une vue rare. Propriétaire réceptif et arrangeant pour les entrées et sorties Équipement complet ( mobilier et électroménager) Un petit rafraîchissement de la cuisine serait le bienvenu ce qui explique les 4 étoiles pour la propreté car pour le reste RAS

We needed some R&R after a tough year and this was perfect. David and his charming wife were great hosts. The location was good and the property is very quite, private and serene. We would most certainly recommend it.

This allows one to go east to Sainte Anne or west to the less populated areas of Deshaies, where the series Death in Paradise. Also visit the beaches of Grand Anse and Le Perle. A drive through the Route Traversee and the National Park are very dense and jungle like and stop at the Cascade aux Ecrevisses for a swim in the jungle river that is very easy to access. After a days exploration of the island the house is fantastic with its infinity pool looking out over dense jungle vegetation and the Caribbean Sea towards the island of Dominica. The kitchen and living area are outside to enjoy the climate and bathroom and sleeping areas are within another part of the building that is air conditioned. The owners went out of their way to make our stay very enjoyable and were available immediately if we had and questions or concerns. Overall a great property to access all that the Island of Guadeloupe has to offer.

David was a great host and we would definitely return again. Great amenities at the villa for relaxing and dining. A car is needed to get around and to the beaches. Great restaurant are nearby at La Marina.

This is one of those houses you read about when looking through one of those top travel magazines, and you wish you could have the chance to experience. The open plan layout facing what feels like is your own personal bay is breathtaking. This view out over the infinity pool, across a small valley of Caribbean jungle into the sea changes in color and scale every time you gaze out. We must have taken a thousand pictures. The house has everything you need to create your own great experiences either in the superb ocean facing kitchen, or lazing on the large poolside lounges. Inside there is plenty of space to rest and relax, with the upstairs private suite beautifully laid out. Our hosts were brilliant, communicating with us immediately when needed, and nothing was a problem. It is ideally located to reach all the key parts of the island, and having a car is recommended. We were two families with 6 year old daughters each, and they had the time of their lives never leaving the pool. Looking forward to coming back again soon.

Wonderful host! David was helpful and very responsive. The house was perfect—close to Gosier marina and beaches but secluded and very private.

On an island where you would usually go exploring a different beach or hike everyday, we chose to stay at home every other day to fully appreciate the beauty of the villa and it's view. When you do leave, there is a bit of traffic in the area. The bedroom spaces were also very comfortable and well appointed.

The Grey Sails is a lovely villa with a superb outdoor area where you can prepare, serve and consume food and wine in full view of the magnificent view. Located just behind the town lo Le Gosier it is only a 10 minute drive to the shops, marina and local beaches. The Villa has a quirkiness that adds to the charm as does it's tasteful decoration.. The bedrooms are air conditioned and there is a separate utility room where you can wash and iron. The only reason we couldn't give it 5 stars were a few niggly electrical problems with the oven and external lighting which the owners are aware of and will rectify.

Fantastic villa, clean, spacious, well equipped and a view to dream about. We could not have asked for anything more. This is the best villa we have stayed in. The hosts were really special and made every effort to ensure our stay was a holiday to remember. Thank you.

The view is amazing, especially when relaxing in the infinity pool. The only frustration was the my Quebecois girlfriend encouraged me to speak French the entire time and that was quite the challenge! Although the place was great for just the two of us, with large open spaces, a bar and several bedrooms this would also be ideal for a large family or several couples. Highly recommend.

We had the most amazing say at the Grey Sail. The house is amazing, overlooking the ocean from our infinity pool was the best way to relax. The outdoor kitchen was the perfect place to take advantage of the local seafood and produce! David and his wife were great hosts and super responsive with help navigating the island. We will 100% be back and will definitely choose to stay at the Grey Sail again!
