This place was as advertised; clean, quiet, and nice location, pretty much a perfect weekend housing for our family of four. Reservation, payment, and check in process was smooth with clear instructions - we didn't need to contact host for anything because it was really straightforward. I'd definitely consider staying here again.

Son loved riding the bike. Our only complaint was that the bathrooms were only located upstairs and that the refrigerator wasn’t working. Otherwise we had a great time, enjoyed the hot tub too.

I would stay there. A couple of suggestions. First, blankets downstairs for the couches would be great.
Drawers in the bedrooms. Even if its plastic drawer in the closets would be huge.
Older fixtures and not updated but works. Both bathrooms are upstairs.

We booked only a few days before for a weekend (Fri-Sun). No problem on the arrival and the house was stocked well with dishes, pots and pans, etc. It was nice to have the hot tub and the drive to Heavenly is only about 10 minutes. We were basically snowed in for most of the day Saturday, but it turned out to be perfect. Watched some football, did a jigsaw puzzle, hot tub, played some games and the kids had a great time in the neighborhood playing in the snow.
The only downside was that I wish we would have stayed longer.

We all loved the property and location! Situated in the perfect zone of "Not too far, but not too close " distance from lake Tahoe . It was just right for the family . Dianne was an excellent resource, and timely with messages making it a breeze getting to the property .

Well equipped home with full kitchen that is well stocked with condiments and cooking essentials. Big TV in Living with Bose soundbar and ample sofas including a cushioned rocking chair made the stay comfortable and cosy. A powerful and easy to operate washer and dryer took care of laundry. In my opinion, the lodge itself is somewhat dated and out of the way from the mainTahoe Road loop though it is a10-min drive to Heavenly and the grocers.

Very clean and well-equipped. Diane (the host) was very gracious and helpful. The only I would mention in the future is that both bathrooms are on the second floor which could be inconvenient for the elderly or people having a difficult time climbing stairs.

I like the location and neighborhood. It is close to everything we wanted to do and the people I met on my evening walks were very friendly.
When I arrived the floors were filthy, the microwave and stove were greasy and the shower drains needed to be cleaned. There weren’t any cleaning supplies except for dish soap. No dishcloths were provided so even that wasn’t as useful as it could have been.
Speaking of kitchen, the dishes are all plastic that can’t be microwaved. It became very tedious having to heat things up in a small storage bowl and then transfer to each individual plate.
Overall, I liked the place. It has a small 2 car garage that can actually be used and a nice deck. The bedrooms and living areas were well suited to our group of 6.

We found this house to be just a pictured. It was very roomy and Dianne was very responsive. The property had everything that we needed and was about a 10-minute drive to S. Lake Tahoe. It was a very comfortable "home base" as we explored the area.

We had a wonderful relaxing stay. Our family likes to hike and golf and there were plenty of things to do right close by. We didn’t even bother getting to Lake Tahoe itself. There is a well stocked store close by and we had great pizza delivered to the door. We otherwise cooked in and the kitchen had all we needed. The weather was warm so it would have been nice to have air conditioning but who would expect that in a mountain cabin. The cabin had ceiling fans in every room so things cooled down at night.

South Tahoe Family Getaway
Nice location to all South Tahoe has to offer, clean property, comfy beds, fans in the rooms for when it’s hot, the kitchen has all the pots, pans, and utensils you need to prepare and eat meals. The neighborhood seems a little uptight but I respect their desire to keep a nice well mannered property and the owners seem kind. Overall a very nice place to stay.

Nice quiet convenient location
The house is a very clean and cozy house near Pioneer Trail. Easy in and out. It’s a residential area so if you want to make party this is not the right place. But if you’re looking for a quiet location to get good rest this is where you want to be there. You need a car to get to town but it’s only a 10 min drive. They have a garage for your use, which was for us a big plus. The host is wonderful. Communicated very quickly and friendly. I would stay here again!

Excellent place in south lake
The house was cozy and comfortable. The kitchen had plenty of equipment and the hot tub was perfect. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Check in was super easy. We would totally stay here again. The only issue for guest with limited mobility would be that the bathrooms were both upstairs but that was not an issue at all for us. Great easy rental

Great home!
We had such a fun stay at this property. It was very clean and neat upon our arrival. Our 3 children loved the fenced in yard and the hot tub. There was plenty of room for our family of 5. It is in a great location with plenty of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. We hope to stay here again in the future!

Girls Trip
Home was nice and well equipped. Just a quick drive to everything. Nice quiet area. Really choose the place for the space and reasonable price plus the hot tub! Unfortunately, the hot tub didn't get hot enough, mid 90's and the lid is falling apart so was difficult to put back in place when done. Overall, it was a good choice and we enjoyed our stay.

Owner was great communicator and property was in great shape. Cleaning crew did not place trash in the bear box from previous renters, but that was the only minor oversight.

Perfect rental for a short getaway
