This is without doubt a five star property with lovely, accommodating hosts who are available whenever required. The pictures do not do this house justice. Inside and outside are both huge, tastefully decorated and extremely well equipped. The pool is amazing and kids (and adults) will love the games room. We already can't wait to return!

Maison très spacieuse et soignée avec un grand jardin et une forêt derrière. La piscine est bien entretenue et spacieuse avec deux terrasses tout autour. De nombreux jeux sont disponibles tels que billard et kicker, ping pong, fléchettes, ... La région est vallonnée et calme, idéale pour de belles balades à pied et à vélo. Le propriétaire est très sympathique et serviable. Merci pour tout Régis!

Nous avons passé un magnifique week-end en famille. Les chambres sont spacieuses, la pièce de vie agréable... Tout est à disposition pour ne pas s ennuyer : salle de jeux avec billard, baby-foot, table de ping-pong, fléchette, sans oublier la superbe piscine chauffée à 30 degré. Plusieurs terrasses en extérieure, plancha , barbecue ... Les hôtes sont disponibles et arrangeants . Sans hésiter, nous conseillons cette belle demeure.

Nous avons passé un superbe week-end à 10 amis, pas le temps de s’ennuyer tellement il y a d’occupations à l’intérieur comme à l’extérieur. Regis et Christelle sont des hôtes disponibles et chaleureux qui nous ont mis à l’aise. Nous conseillons vivement ce gîte !

Maison et jardin plus qu agreable. Les propriétaires sont charmants et les commerces à moins d 1km. Si vous aimez la bonne viande..la côte de bœuf du boucher est un régal. Nous avons passé un we de rêve. Merci à nos hôtes.

Un très bon séjour à Fresnay sur Sarthe pour réunir notre famille. La maison a répondu à toutes nos attentes, beaucoup d’équipements, un très beau terrain, une piscine chauffée très appréciée ! Les échanges avec les hôtes ont été agréables. N’hésitez pas à venir y séjourner !

Nous avons apprécié notre semaine au Fresnay. La maison est tres bien équipée, la piscine est superbe, Christelle est très accueillante, seule la météo n’était pas au rdv :-)

Pour un WE entre amis, nous avons pu arriver le samedi à 12h et repartir le lundi à 18h. Les propriétaires sont arrangeants et de bon conseil. Les pierres et palmiers autours de la piscine couverte et chauffé sont incroyable !

Propriétaires extrêmement soigneux et consciencieux, toujours disponibles et prêts à nous venir en aide. Une maison remarquable, très grande, décorée avec énormément de goût. Une magnifique piscine chauffée,plusieurs activités disponibles et possibles (ping-pong, pétanque, palet, badminton) un vrai salon de jeux au sous sol(billard, baby foot), le tout dans un énorme terrain bien entretenu. la maison et ses équipements sont conformes à la description de l'annonce. la maison est spacieuse, les 3 sdb et la piscine chauffée et couverte sont appréciables, le sauna est un vrai plus. nous avons fait un très bon séjour dans cette demeure et sa région. je recommande vivement la location de ce bien pour un séjour en famille, entre amis et pour découvrir la région.

La piscine est magnifique, le jardin est très bien entretenu et les chaises sont confortables. Beaucoup d'activités proposées dans la maison et entretenu. OMG what a stunning house and gardens, loads to do within the property, basement full of activities Pool, Air Hockey, Bar Football with somewhere to sit and enjoy the family having fun. Ground floor was spacious and very well decorated and felt 'homely' the Kitchen was very well stocked with crockery and cooking equipment in fact everything you could need . We had BBQ's in the garden and with loads of various places to sit and eat as well as sit and chill, ground floor benefited by having a toilet . The garage had Darts and Table Tennis and also a separate laundry area with dryer and clothes airier. The garden was massive and loads of things to see and do , we even had a 'treasure hunt' for the children and they loved it, we used all of the grounds and house to hide the clues. The family loved the pool and were in it from morning till late evening. The garden felt secure with a set of remote gates. Upstairs was massive with 4 bedrooms all of them had large beds, one room had a sofa as well as a large bed another also had bunks , there was 3 showers and a toilet on this floor. One of the bathrooms also had a sauna , there was a quiet zone upstairs in the hall way . Lovely views from all of the rooms, we even had a hot air balloon come over on our last day it was so low you felt you could almost touch it. We had 2 supermarkets within 5 mins and the larger had a massive choice of produce and every day household items. The family ventured to the canoe trip and all took part and had a fun time. The 'Chateau de la motte husson ' was within an hours drive and the family went there hoping to see the 'Strawbridges' but instead got some memorable selfies. Can't recommend this property enough !! The museum at Le Mans 24hr was great the children loved it. On our way back to the ferry at Caen we stopped in Falaise to the Chateau of William the Conquer. This was brilliant, they have iPads to use so you can see what the keep would have looked like as you go around. Will definitely return, a beautiful house in a beautiful village!

The house is amazing. There is something for everyone to do.

First impressions were great, electric gates open up onto a private drive and gardens, the owner is polite and accommodating. The heated pool and gardens are really excellent, 5*. General living areas are all fine, large dining tables inside and out, large TV, WifFi, sauna, games room with pool table, table tennis, tennis etc. 5* UK visitors should note that their are only 2 toilets for the whole house and these are separate from the bathrooms, no windows, by UK standards the toilets need to be revised. This is a very quiet area of Sarthe/ Loire, and we found that many of the shops and bars were closed during August. Mainly a non English speaking area. We enjoyed the village centre, touring around local villages, and a trip down to busy Le Mans (40 mins), and Coco Lake (10 mins). A good place to relax.

The house is superb. It is even better than in the photographs. It is very large and well looked after. It has everything you need for a lovely stay. The cellar games room has full sized football table, pool table and air hockey table and was brilliant for the kids. There is also a table tennis table in the double garage. The house is in a quiet street on the edge of town. The pool was a great help as we visited during a heat wave. The cover of the pool can be locked for safety if you have small children. It has a curved bottom and is over 6 foot deep in the middle. The garden is lovely with a very nice wood hidden behind the hedge. We enjoyed a visit at night from a hedgehog! The town itself is a small, charming rural town. The old castle has been turned into a delightful small park with great views over the river. We felt welcome by the local residents who put up with our poor French! The local Super U supermarket was modern with a large range of goods and also had a pharmacy. Alencon is fairly close and was a nice town. They are relaying all the cobble streets so it wasn't at its best, but well worth a visit. The city of Le Mans is about 40 mins drive away and from there you can get a fast train to Paris. We had children 6 children ranging from 7 - 16 with us and would recommend a trip to Papea Park in Les Mans. A fantastic theme park with rides for all ages. Clean and spacious with plenty of shade and lots of drink stands available. We will definitely be going back. We arrived by Ferry at Caen and it was about an hour and a half drive to Fresnay. The inland lake with sandy beach is also very good at Coco Plage near Sille de Guilliame. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. A brilliant holiday had by all!

We had a fantastic time! 4 adults, 2 teenagers and 1 toddler. Had fun using the pool, table tennis, the pool table. Lovely walks in nature. Very quiet and relaxing! Not really ensuites though, just the one shower. Apart from that would go back if visiting the area again!

Lovely well equipped house and grounds all in excellent condition. The pool is a real bonus and the sleepy town is only a short walk. Highly recommended.

The only strange thing is that none of the three bathrooms have toilets, there are two in the property but both are separate and individual.

This house is extremely comfortable. it has everything you need and more. The rooms are spacious and the surrounding gardens are filled with trees and flowers attracting local wildlife. The heated pool is covered which is very useful if the weather is cooler than expected in summer. I would recommend this property to anyone with a large family as there are 4 bedrooms each with a double bed and one room also has bunk beds. The furnishings are very high specification. Fresnay-sur-Sarthe is a pretty town and the property is on a quiet housing estate although it is ideally situated to visit the pretty village of St Ceneri-le-Gerei, the cities of Le Mans, and Alencon, and the towns of Bagnoles-del-l'Orne and Domfront. Excellent, we were a group of five men on a trip to watch the Le Mans motor racing, we stayed here for 5 nights and I cannot recommend it highly enough, amazing gite built to a very high standard, beautiful grounds surrounding the property and very secure, the pool was a godsend as it was well into the 30 degrees when we stayed, great place, great location, highly recommended, the owner was very helpful too, she kept in touch via text and made us feel very welcome.
