We have rented several properties as a family over the years and Casa Solimar is one of the most memorable stays of all. The home is clean, well maintained and in a safe area. John, the property manager, is the perfect amount of helpful. The kitchen is well stocked and the snacks, wine and drinks are a thoughtful touch. We would definitely recommend renting this property and very much look forward to frequently returning.

Cannot recommend more highly. John was a very responsive host. The property was clean and the fridge and panty were stocked with many staples that made our arrival enjoyable too. Sorry to have to leave.

Absolutely amazing property! We have been traveling as a surf family for a long time and this property is by far the best we have found! The location cannot be beat. Less than 10 minutes to 10 + surf breaks. The 180 degree ocean-view from the house is unbeatable. John the owner was also a great resource for surf intel. We plan to make this one of our regular visits.

Great stay at Casa Solimar. Host provided light snacks, coffee, tea and bottled water. Easy check in and out. Secure location. Gated. Many restaraunts amd places to eat in the immediate area. Close to beaches. House is top notch and the interior has many high end finishes. A must stay. Safe for kids too. Doors locks with keys to the outside pool and upstairs balcony. I stayed with a 4 year old. Will be back.

We felt at home

This property was, by far, the best that we ever rented. John, who lives next door was quite the generous host. He greeted us in person when we checked in, and was always just a text away. The fridge was stocked with kid and adult beverages, and the kitchen had a wide range of condiments and canned food to whip up a quick meal. A large grocery store, Econo, is only 5 mins away from the house. We spent almost all daylight hours in the pool, and the photos don't do justice to the set up. The house was spotless. Already looking forward to our next trip!

This property is about 6 minutes from the airport. The pictures do not do it justice. The views of the ocean are so beautiful and relaxing. John made sure the fridge was fully stocked with beverages for our arrival. The home was more than spacious for our family of three. We all enjoyed the pool and all the areas to hang out inside and outside of the house. It was close to many good restaurants and beaches. John was a welcoming host and we will be back!

We were super impressed with the house and its cleanliness. The view is gorgeous and our kids begged not to leave the pool. The house is easy to get to and is beautiful. The only “knock against it” would be the terrible and inconsistent Wi-Fi. It was super spotty and slow, even in the same room as the router. We ended up using our cell phones as hotspots all week.

The pictures really do not do this house justice! The house is gorgeous and the views are stunning! The host was awesome, he left the refrigerator fully stocked with snacks and drinks. We had an amazing time and we would definitely sta.y here again We highly recommend and could not say enough great things about our entire stay. The area is great and the house has great security as well so you feel safe while you are there.Highly recommend

This house is incredible! Clean and functional. We had an island wide power outage during our stay and John was right there with a generator and a plan. We barely skipped a beat. I highly recommend this place. You won't be disappointed. John was an excellent host and has a lot to offer about the island. We will be back!

We spent a week with our young kids. Amazing property with priceless views. Very clean and well stocked kitchen. Picture perfect pool. John is one of the best host we came across in the last 10 years of travel. Wish to come back sometime soon.

We had an amazing experience. The view was amazing. Felt just like home. Very family friendly. Safe and secure location. The ease of check in and out was excellent. I only wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely return!

Our family had an incredible stay. It was one of those vacations when you forget the day and date. The sample size of 5 star reviews for this property tell the story. One of the highlights was watching the whales from the rooftop deck😀 The amount of restaurants, food trucks and cafe's in the area was impressive. Arepas to go (recommended by John) was incredible, and is less than a minute from the house. We rented a Jeep and put it to use, finding some beaches off the beaten path. Survival beach, Shacks beach and several other notable beaches are less than 15 minutes away, making it easy to spend part of the day at the beach and come home to relax by the pool. Big thanks to John for the opportunity to stay at his lovely home. We can't wait to schedule our next visit.

From the initial booking to the stay, Mr. Allen was phenomenal. He kept contact with us to see how our stay was and provided recommendations. The house was very spacious and offered an abundance of amenities. Also, the snacks and drinks provided by Mr. Allen were above and beyond. Smaller essentials were not expected but provided. This is the type of house that you could stay at your whole trip and not even feel guilty about not going to the beach. It has everything. Also, John is a living legend and right next door for any concerns that you won't have.

A very thoughtful and responsive host who provides the perfect extras from beverages and snacks for your arrival to beach towels. A perfect house to enjoy ocean views, the sound of the surf and great ocean breezes. Two large tables on a covered patio to enjoy a morning coffee or meal. Delightful rocking chairs for reading a book and a big sunny patio for enjoying the Puerto Rican weather. The rooms inside are bigger than pictured and offer amazing views too. Upstairs, there are TWO patios to view the ocean and sunsets. The house is a great location for enjoying the northwest beaches and west coast of the island. Good restaurants and a grocery store are only minutes away.

Thus house is gorgeous and the views are amazing! Plenty of amenities, supplies and super clean. The pool area is a dream. Highly recommend staying here.

What a hidden gem! Once you open the front door, into the open space and see the full glass façade into the terrace you go WOW! This property exceeded our expectations in many ways. It is spacious, modern, has a "cool" vibe and its perfect for families that want to relax and enjoy the magnificent view of the ocean from a private pool...It is conveniently located close to beautiful beaches and outdoor venues to enjoy. The property is fully equipped and we where pleasantly surprise with all the goodies in the kitchen provided by our host John! We have travelled to PR, yearly, for the past 20 years and have stayed in many places around the island and this property has been the top highlight location for us. We can't wait to be back! Mr. Allen, our host, is super friendly, attentive and is available for any questions you may have. We appreciate all his suggestions and help during our stay. We will definitely go back......I hope soon!

This property is gorgeous, everything was better than advertised. John couldn't have been more understanding when we called late to say we were lost. He came immediately and led us back to the right place. He couldn't have been a more gracious host. This property is wonderful. There are more places to sit and admire the scenery, read, visit, talk, whatever. It was immaculate and incredible from the moment we arrived to the minute we left.

Everything about Casa Solimar was perfect for our much needed, relaxing vacation. The house is gorgeous and comfortable with breathtaking ocean views. Being on the cliffs meant there was usually a welcome breeze while we laid by the pool (which is a work of art!) or ate meals on the shaded veranda. John was a perfect host. He lives next door which was very comforting and responded quickly to any questions we had but also gave us 100% privacy. He is a wealth of local information and he made sure we had everything we needed including stocking the house with a bounty of thoughtful amenities. We mostly explored the local beaches and restaurants, and there are plenty of great options for both close by! I am so happy we were welcomed to stay at Casa Solimar. It was the best vacation we could have asked for!

Our stay at Casa Solimar was absolutely great. The house is beautiful/luxurious and extremely clean. The pool, terrace and views are all amazing - we felt like we were at our own resort. The house itself is gated, so we always felt safe. The location is also good and is close to multiple beaches, restaurants, shops (and very convenient to and from the airport). There are several restaurants within 5-10 minutes walking distance, but you'll want a car to get to most places. Our host John provided the best experience we've had so far at a Vrbo property. From the moment we arrived, he went out of his way to make us feel welcomed provided almost every amenity we needed (incl. wine/beer, snacks, waters, towels, sunscreen, all toiletries, laundry detergent, etc.). Before we arrived he said pack light, and that's exactly what you should do if you stay here! He also let us have our pick of the fruit that's grown on the property (avocados, parchas, guanabanas, starfruit). Our communication with him was great throughout, as he was very responsive and always available. We only had a couple of minor issues during our stay, but John got them remedied as fast as he could. We'd definitely stay here again and recommend Casa Solimar to anyone visiting the area. Thanks again for making it a great and memorable stay!

My wife and I had a great stay here. The house and view are awesome as was our host. It’s location makes it easy to visit several different beaches and restaurants. We will definitely be coming back.

First I want to say the pictures on the house does not give it justice the house is so beautiful, when you think about paradise this is the house. I want to say from day one our flight landed late and we had to arrive to the house at 2 a.m. and John welcomed me and my family with open arms and was very graceful and made sure we were settled and happy. John is the best he made sure we were comfortable for our stay up until out last day, a family member forgot their wedding band and John helped us and mailed her items to us. I will always remember my experience at this house and will definitely visit again. Thank you John.
