Peter's spacious and beautiful mountain home was a perfect space for gathering together with our adult children and young grandchildren! From peaceful mornings with coffee on the screened porch to cozy family dinners around the table to plenty of room for games and chasing toddlers, we enjoyed a wonderful getaway. It also worked really well for hosting a small family gathering to celebrate our son and future daughter-in-law's engagement. So convenient to restaurants and stores in Flat Rock. We hope to return another time in the future!

House was perfect for our family! Plenty of space, kitchen is well equipped and fire pit was a hit! Our kids loved making smores and sitting outside by the fire. Peter answered all of our questions and the check in/out process was extremely easy. Rooms are spacious and couch was very comfortable! Looking forward to coming back!

Great setup with gorgeous Mountain Views. Fun game room with foosball, giant connect four, video games. Lots of room and house has great layout. Host very responsive. About 15 minute drive to many restaurants and great grocery store.

Our MTB race team used this home as our base of operations for a race weekend at Ride Rock Creek. It sits only 15 minutes from the venue. It has plenty of space inside to comfortable fit large groups and lots of outdoor space for enjoying the seasons. Happy to see a well equipped kitchen for meal prep. I’d highly recommend looking at this place if you need to stay in the area. I’ll definitely be checking back

We lucked out with fabulous weather and the views from this house with the fall leaves were breathtaking. The house had everything we could want, plenty of amenities. Lots of room, would be a great place for group with kids. We loved the fire pit. But bring a head lamp, walking to the firepit at night was challenging.

Property is generally excellent. It accommodated 10 adults well. Communication with owner was good. When we had a minor problem, the owner responded quickly and together he and I were able to resolve the problem without the inconvenience of having an outside repairperson having to come out. Overall, we were pleased with the property and would consider returning for another long weekend family reunion.

We went for the apple festival in Hendersonville so the area was pretty busy. Loved the house with plenty of room to spread out as well as hang out together in the den and dining room. Kids loved the tree house. Definitely try gem mining and apple picking nearby.

We enjoyed this house so much! There was room for everyone to eat together and hang out in the living areas, and also room enough for everyone to have privacy at bedtime. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, and we loved using the fire pit at night. Terrific location — easy trip to Flat Rock and Hendersonville. We hope to stay here again!

This well appointed property was perfect for a long family weekend. It is super clean, the host was easily accessible for questions, and there is lots of space for kids and adults to be together or separate. We love this property.

The home is in an ideal are of Flat Rock and is owned by a lovely couple who were very accessible and accommodating. It’s spacious, but a littled worn. However, overall it is nice home.

We enjoyed our stay in this home very much. The screened in porch and deck were wonderful, and it felt like you were in the tree tops. There were enough bedrooms to accommodate our group, but one sleeping area had no door. There was a curtain for privacy which provided no insulation against noise from the other guests sleeping downstairs. The host was easy to communicate with and answered all questions. We did have an issue with the towels and he was quick to respond and resolve the problem. Beautiful location!

This house is located in a beautiful area! It is nicely arranged for extended family. We loved the screened in porch in the rain! My granddaughter loved the tree house! The teenagers enjoyed the pinball museum and the ice cream shops. The dining table, which seats 10, was great for the whole family. We loved our visit and hope to do it again!

Perfect for All Ages
We spent the week here celebrating my folk's 50th wedding anniversary and my dad turning 80. The kids are 13, 10, 8 and 6 and the house was a perfect layout and size for all of us. The kids had lots to do and their own space in the basement, the adults spent a lot of time on the screened-in porch visiting and playing games, and the living room was perfect for all of us to watch shows together. We took advantage of everything, enjoying the fire pit outside with a bottle of wine on the last night and appreciating the well-stocked kitchen for our family meals. We even had a chef come in one night to make us all dinner and she commented it was a great space to work in. We had a snafu with the cleaning people when we first arrived, but Peter was responsive and got it all taken care of quickly. The location feels isolated (in a good way) but we were close to Flat Rock and Hendersonville and loved being up in the trees. Highly recommend this home.

Ladies get away
We loved the home. It was spacious and open. Wonderful windows for tons of natural light. We had 5 of us. The 3 full bathrooms worked perfectly. We enjoyed the gas fireplace so much. And the fire pit was a bonus. Gorgeous neighborhood. Easy drive to shops and food. Excellent stay. We definitely come back and stay here.

Beautiful home and property. Our only complaint is that we did not have nearly enough hot water. There was also dog poop in the driveway. Gorgeous views and we had a wonderful time. Thank you for sharing your house.

We were looking for a property in the North Carolina mountains to have a family retreat with some coming from South Florida and others from NYC. The Asheville area is almost exactly the same distance from Miami and NYC .
The house is well represented in the photos and description, a perfect place for a large family reunion. It is nestled in the mountains in Flat Rock, which is a very nice area. Close enough to visit Asheville, but we liked Hendersonville even more. A great small town atmosphere with excellent shopping and restaurants.
The house provided a perfect place to enjoy quality family time and yet provide areas for solitude and relaxation. It was very clean and prepared for our arrival. Waking up each morning to views out across the valley were very soothing. While out on the screened porch having morning coffee a herd of deer came across the property right next to the porch and up past the fire pit. A very scenic location.
We enjoyed the entire time there. The owner provided all of the necessary information and access instructions. We had one minor issue with the door lock that was immediately corrected. The owner was responsive and empathetic with making are we fully enjoyed out stay.
We highly recommend this property and the ownership.

Great house and location
We had a great experience with this home. Great location as views. The master bedroom was very cool. All the teens stayed downstairs and enjoyed the game room. We took advantage of the outdoor fire pit.
Honey and salt down the road is a great spot for breakfast and brunch.
The outdoor desk and patio were also great and easy to access.
Only strike is owner was not willing to work with a late checkout out. Asked for 11am instead of 9am. (I also blew all the leaves as they were piled on the driveway big time)
Still a 4 1/2 to 5 star experience ans I would rent the home again.

Great house and location
The house was as listed and Peter was very responsive to any questions we had along the way. The beds were comfortable and the house had everything we needed for our stay. Sky Top Apple Orchard being right across the street is definitely a big bonus!

Perfect retreat
This was a perfect space and location. We loved the home, the outside amenities and the town. Cute but delicious restaurants nearby and we loved riding our bicycle around the area! Would love to come back again!

Quick Oasis
We were traveling with a large family and needed a a couple nights rest before an event. This place was great accommodation last minute and very comfortable. The early check out was a surprise 😮 so make sure you are aware.

It was great having Publix and Ingles so close by. The house and the beds were very comfortable and we appreciated the well-stocked kitchen. The views from the large back porches were awesome and we loved having our morning coffee out there. The large dining room table worked great for our large group. Of course the kids loved the FIFA and skate3 on the Xbox and also the foosball game in the bonus room! We all had a wonderful time and are so thankful that your house was available on our dates!
