We rented this property for our annual family vacation and it was excellent. The property was in pristine condition and in an excellent location. We have rented again for this upcoming summer's vacation as it was by far the best that we have found to date. The property manager was great and assisted us immediately with a few check in details. I would highly recommend this property to anyone.

This property was as advertised and more importantly, the layout and features made it perfect for the multigenerational, multi-family vacation we hosted.
There was plenty of room for both whole group and small group events and the property was large enough that those wanting to just curl up in a quiet place to read could do so.
We had a minor glitch with the access code upon arrival but the representative was responsive and we were able to get in after ~30 minutes. It would be helpful to have the access code tested after it is re-programmed remotely for the next renter.
Otherwise a fantastic property!

Excellent property

Best vacation ever
This property was as advertised and more importantly, the layout and features made it perfect for the multigenerational, multi-family vacation we hosted.

We had people flying in from all over the country. The home housed all of us very comfortably (private bathroom for each), stunning ocean view, wonderful sound system, and stunningly appointed. Listing underestimates this property; it is accurate regarding everything. Owner was readily available by email for any questions. I would recommend this property to anyone..as a matter of fact...I already have. Mam Kwan's restaurant was fun and delish! The Aquarium was great! And, we were especially excited to see the Dolphins rolling in the waves right outside of the beach as we ate breakfast! Love, Love, LOVED this property!

There were 17 of us ( 4 generations) and we had plenty of space. Loved the large dining table. It allowed all of us to dine together. The kitchen was wonderful..we had many chefs. Also, with that many children in the house, we found the laundry room superb. The media room was a great hit for the young ones. They enjoyed movie night with sleeping bags and bowls of popcorn!! The older boys!!(ha,ha) loved it for college basketball play-offs!! We made lots of memories and will definitely be back!!

Perfect for large family get-away

The house is decorated very well with my favorite colors, and all bedrooms and bathrooms are comfortable, clean and modern. There was plenty of refrigerator space and the ice makers were much appreciated.
We lingered for hours each morning on the upper deck, enjoying the ocean views and the breeze.
The location is very convenient, although, honestly, we mostly stayed at the house. We have rented on Route 12 (north on the peninsula) for many years, and found traffic to be much better in Nag's Head due to the 4 lane highway and the beach road.
The movie fans thoroughly enjoyed the theater room. We found the kitchen's inventory adequate, and we could fit at the large dining table for group meals and games at night.

I believe we were one of the first renter's of this property in late May 2013 as it was a new construction. We had a group of 13 adults and 5 children (all under 4), and the house was pretty much perfect for that size crew. Overall it was fantastic. We were blown away by the views of the beach from the 2nd and 3rd floors. Also, the house was beautifully decorated…very modern and of course everything looked new. We also found almost no needs as far as the stocking of kitchen items and we cooked almost every meal in the house!! The upstairs was perfect for letting the kids play during the day and having dinners, games, etc. at night with the adults. Also, the first floor had a great set up for playing billiards and watching sports or movies in the theatre room. The location was also great...not far from grocery stores, ABC liquor stores, an ice cream shop, activities, and other excursions such as the Wright Brothers museum.
The pool and hot tub set up was great, complete with swim-up bar stools, a kiddie pool and a wading area for the little ones. One of the issues we did face was that the pool filter stopped working on a couple of occasions...there was an error code on the pump that requires service and we had to rely on the management company to send out a service man to fix it (e.g. flip a switch or something). This wasn't a problem the first time, but the second instance it took 3 days to get someone out there, which resulted in a pool that was unheated (chilly) and fairly dirty (bugs, sunscreen, etc.). I’m sure the issue will get sorted out quickly (growing pains of new construction), and we still did really enjoy the pool and hot tub.
We would definitely recommend this property to any large group and really can’t imagine a more perfect set up for our crew!
