Great cabin! Very clean and dust-free, comfortable with everything we needed. Nice porch, peaceful setting in a great location.

Had a wonderful week at the Little Dog!

This cabin was perfect for a week to get away and relax. Cozy, yet spacious, cabin for our family of 3. Quiet and private. A few neighbors, but hardly saw or noticed them. Remote location, but close enough to be in downtown Asheville within 20 minutes. Just a perfect getaway.

This is a beautiful, spacious log cabin nestled in the forest with a mountain view. Very private, wonderful balcony, the perfect spot to relax. All the amenities you could want: great sound system, DirectTV, board games, and a well-equipped kitchen to name a few. We'll definitely return, and often.

Can’t Saint to go back !

Nestled in the woods this cabin is a quiet & peaceful escape. It’s about 10mins from downtown where there are nice shops & good restaurants. Fireplace is cozy. The large wrap around deck is a great place to relax & enjoy the beautiful views.

While Mother Nature decided differently about our activities while in Asheville, the cabin left us delighted and full of things to do in this impromptu “staycation”.

This is what we were looking for. 10-15 minutes from town. Clean and lots of wood. Enjoyed it.

Beautiful setting (remote feeling) and within 20 min to anything you might need. Home entry Stairs could be an issue for older folks but we didn’t mind the climb.

This rustic cabin in the Mountains was just what the doctor ordered! It was beautiful, clean, comfortable and most of all peaceful! The owners provided all of the necessary items you need to get you through your stay. We cooked several meals there and had all the right stuff! We listened to music when we weren’t sitting on the porch taking in the beauty all around us! While the roads to the cabin are very winding and the circle driveway is a step climb it all added to the mountain retreat feel! We opted to enter via the second entrance and exit via the first (steeper) side of the drive which my vehicle handled better. The stairs were totally manageable and the natural wood handrails made the climb a whole experience! We will definitely return, hopefully sooner than later. A lovely cabin with many amenities. We booked this for our anniversary. We enjoyed eating on the porch with the Mountain View in front of us. We were minutes away from Asheville and all the dining, shopping, etc. would definitely book again.

Beautiful property. Very clean and well appointed. Everything needed was there.

Such a great experience. Lovely views, not far from the downtown and a beautiful cabin.

The house was extremely clean and a wonderful set up. Loved the house and location. The owner was extremely responsive. Only a couple comments: there are a bunch stairs to get in the house, the furniture does need updating and the TV is located in the small loft rather in the downstairs. Enjoyed our week away from reality.

Great cabin for our long weekend getaway. Friendly communication with the owner and everything went smoothly with check-in, stay and departure. Loved visiting Asheville.

Classic A-Frame Log cabin in the woods. We had a great time.

The structure was great! Had some very cool tables, & countertops. Master bath shower is an experience in itself! Owner left brews in the fridge, & 1 day of coffee to try. Very thoughtful.Cons: 2 bedrooms only. 1 had twin beds. Furniture desperately needs updates. TV located in the loft, making it very difficult for 4 adults to watch. If one has any mobility issues, this cabin wouldn’t work. Many stairs to get inside.Also if one has feather allergies, which we did; it was not comfortable because there was no comfortable place to sit, but on the feather filled sofa.We enjoyed it, but probably wouldn’t return.

Wonderful, peaceful, getaway! If you need a reset, this is perfect. Also, great location to Asheville with great food and people.

We couldn't have chosen a better place to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary! Quiet, secluded (important during COVID) and most importantly, relaxing. Just what the doctor ordered!

This is a beautiful cabin. We wanted a quiet Christmas holiday for our family and this was perfect. Paul was very responsive. We look forward to visiting again.

The cabin was every bit as gorgeous as the pictures made it out to be... fantastic wood all around, beautiful master dining room and great family space for all. The owners reached out proactively with helpful information and we got into the house smoothly. All around, this was a great experience for my family and we highly recommend!

We absolutely loved this cabin! Check in was super easy and the place was extremely clean. Couldn’t have asked for a better host and place to stay for the weekend.

The log cabin was great - very comfortable and clean (brand new). It was perfect for a short weekend in Asheville - close enough to downtown Asheville to enjoy the restaurants and night life, but rural enough to feel like we were really getting away from it all. It was a pleasure to sit on the porch and enjoy the mountain view and the treetops! It was very quiet. While the road is right in front of the house downhill from the cabin, we never saw (or heard) a car pass. The gas fireplace was also a perk! The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that we were unable to get a hold of the owner when we arrived - there was no cell phone reception and we were having trouble getting on the wifi. The wifi issue turned out to be our error - but it was disconcerting that we couldn't get in touch with anyone for help on the day that we arrived. The owner did apologize. Also, a minor thing, but the house lacked a few amenities that would make our stay more comfortable (i.e. soap in the second bathroom and creamer to go with the coffee). But it was so nice of the owners to leave us a couple of cold local beers in the fridge! All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!
