We had our extended out-of-town family stay here for our late October wedding-- our parents, sibs and families, and our kids. it was a fantastic choice. Lots of flexibility with the different bedroom configurations, comfortable beds, places for kids/adults to hang out separately, hot tub. The house was clean and well cared for, and the yard was nice too. Short drive to downtown Guerneville with a Safeway, and Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve with beautiful old growth redwoods. A great find!

Lovely. But…Surprised that “extra beds” were rollaways and that cottage required separate reservation. Online key pad instructions incorrect. Library door is to the RIGHT of front door (facing house). Need new can opener-current does NOT work at all. Great Kitchen! Almost everything we needed. Large upstairs bedroom electric fireplace did not work. Could not take last garbage to outside can as it was still out on the highway. Overall had a wonderful time and would recommend this house to others.

I would love to give this property 5 "shout out" stars, and for the most part it is a 5 star. We are a group of 8 retired "vintage" ladies, who have been gathering together for a special trip each year for the last 38 years...3 teachers, 1 school nurse, 1 book editor, 1 family councilor, 1 school secretary, and 1 business owner. We always hope to rent a house that number one, has enough bedrooms and bathrooms for us, and number two has a hot tub. This house fit all of our wishes perfectly except for the hot tub. It was cloudy and smelled strongly of chlorine (which means the chemicals are not balanced). We notified the property manager two days in a row. Each time we were told the maintenance person would be out there the next day. It didn't happen. We gave up the by the 3rd time. The owner told us that the hot tub was fine without even seeing it. Be aware that in the house rules, renters will be charged $150 if the hot tub has foam in it when they leave. We asked for that same amount returned to us since we were unable to use the tub. Also, we did not use the cabin, which we thought was included in the rental price, but found out there was an extra charge for it. I may have missed something in the house advertisement on that one. HOWEVER, the house and grounds are very nice. The kitchen, location, ambiance, and wrap around deck couldn't have been better. Don't let this review scare you away. If a hot tub is not a priority to you, everything else is spot on.

Beautiful house in the Russian river area. A great home base.

We needed a nice big house for our family group. Everyone enjoyed themselves, and it was close to the things we wanted to do.

We were in town for a family wedding and this house was the perfect size for 10 of us. Everyone had bedroom/bathroom. The house had everything we needed and great location to Russian river, Pacific coast, wineries etc. Very clean and welcoming. We loved our stay here and can't wait to come back!

The house was beautiful and perfectly located. We enjoyed every bit of the house. But be prepared, the house has a lot of steep stairs.

A perfect stay cut too short by this never ending thing we call life. From our first sight until the last look from the rear view mirror, this beautiful house had everything that we needed to rest and recharge. I embraced my husband to be Peter, looked into his eyes and said “I love you and I love this house.” We showered and spent a lovely night in the hot tub, gazing into each other’s souls and into the stars. 5 of 5 would stay in heaven again.

House was great for our intergenerational group of four families, 14 total, attending a wedding in the area.

Our large family enjoyed the six beautiful bedrooms with their own baths. The kitchen is the best we’ve ever experienced in a vacation rental- well equipped and easy to work in. Our only challenges was trying to sit in the same room for meals. It was a wonderful week!

Family gathering for the New Year. Kids loved the hot tub. Adults loved having a fireplace of some kind in all 6 bedrooms. If you appreciate the architecture of old homes with history then this is the place for you. If you have older people in your group consider that there are many steep stairs that can be hard to navigate. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

We were five couples staying. All of us really enjoyed our rooms and the house. Large kitchen area was great for socializing while cooking. Kitchen is very well stocked. We also enjoyed the sauna and spa, and also took advantage of the BBQ for one dinner. Overall we were very pleased with the property and would stay again.

Anissa does not respond to messages via VRBO, only phone calls. The hot tub was only warm and we couldn't get it to get hot. Aside from that, we had a great family reunion and we'd definitely come back.

This house is AWSOME! It is spacious and beautiful, the deck was lovely, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. It was absolutely perfect for my girl’s weekend birthday party.

Beautiful, spacious house nestled in the redwoods. We were a group of eight book club members. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and each had their own bathroom!! The kitchen was amazing. large and extremely well stocked. We enjoy preparing meals together so this was a huge plus. The dinning room was a comfortable size for all eight of us. The huge porch with numerous comfy chairs and tables was a favorite. We enjoyed game time around the large table on the porch. Several members enjoyed the hot tub. We drove to Jenner and Goat Rock State beach and had a spectacular walk on the beach and lunch on the water view patio at Cafe Aquatica. We had glorious weather but had the weather not cooperated we still would have had an amazing time. The house is spectacular!!! Thanks so much for sharing this beautiful house. We will be back!!!

Very large and well kept home. Not close to much anything which is a double edged sword. Communication issues (through VRBO app?) slowed access to washer/dryer access but we were eventually given access. Next visit, I would probably opt for something closer to ‘the action’ but there was certainly nothing wrong with the house or the location

The jacuzzi was very calming after a day full of activities. The kitchen is well stocked if somebody wishes to cook. We did not cook much.It is a good place for large groups with 5 bedrooms with attached baths.

Wonderful old house. Great for a group with lots of bedrooms and baths. Large kitchen, great for everyone helping with meal prep. Not far from the Russian River in one direction and a great winery - Russian River Winery - in the other. Very nice hot tub. Great wrap around porch. Only suggestion is a couple of lounge type chairs (where you can put your feet up) would have been wonderful. We were a group of five "mature" ladies and we would go back.

Fantastic place for a family reunion. Location located near many places to go (like beaches, wineries, downtown Guerneville) and house had lots of places to gather in large or small groups. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, and kitchen was large and well equipped.

We went into Forestville and walked the trail right out of the parking lot. Nice trail goes right to Graton.

We loved our long weekend there. We are 3 families with our kids. Plenty of room for 13 to sleep comfortably and loved the 6 bathrooms! Well stocked kitchen. The redwood setting is beautiful and the porch, firepit , deck and hot tub were awesome to have.

Beautiful property with plenty of beds and bathrooms. The kitchen is huge and well-stocked with cooking necessities. The location is fantastic, and within walking distance to Korbel Winery. Also a few minutes drive away from groceries and restaurants. If you need a good gathering space for large groups, I highly recommend this house.

OMG, loved the place and wish I could live there!

Had a lovely time in this home. Hot tub was amazing! The backyard is gorgeous, although the sauna didn't work. The little cottage in the back was so cute. Every room in the house has a bathroom and some included bath tubs. Only a few minutes from downtown Guerneville and about 30 minutes from Goat Rock Beach in Jenner (stunning). Plenty of room for guests to sleep. So many fireplaces and the house was warm even during cold nights. Would love to come back!

The House was fantastic. It is located in a great spot. We had 12 people stay in the house and we had plenty of room. We will definitely be back.

Really great house for a nice get together with friends. Lovely property to relax and enjoy the sauna in the redwoods. Really awesome with all the beds available so everyone is comfortable.
