My fiancee and I came to Fredericksburg for a conference and his birthday. We picked this place because it was close to the conference center and very cute. Aside from being in the parking lot of a restaurant and guys doing some kind of construction underneath it was a great little spot for what we needed. The style is very well thought out and it was very comfortable.

Cute 2 bedroom property but no place for 4 people to sit and enjoy a glass of wine. The couch is sad and needs to be replaced and the addition of a oversized chair would be welcome. I also do not like to strip beds before I leave.... that is what housekeeping is for. I guess I just did not see the value of what I paid vs amenity received.

If you like history, you will love this place! Technically big enough for six people, but can only accommodate four. I was there with my husband, and it was huge for us. There are small details that I would improve for a five-star experience, but for the price I thought it was amazing! We loved sitting on the deck and looking at the stars at night, and we loved how cool the rooms were even in this Texas heat! All the decorations and history in the building were so cool, and soaking in the tub after a long day of horseback riding, was a relief! (We went riding in Harper, TX, 20 min away) We will definitely stay here again, and bring the kids next time!

The stable is absolutely excellent for the price and had everything we needed. Only complaints are the wasps (they are really bad during the day and there is a nest the size of a baseball on the patio so no morning coffee outside and they attack you when you go up and down the stairs to the property), the unit does get pretty toasty in this heat, but it wasn’t too bad, the shower pressure was pretty poor and kept shutting off. But honestly the worst of it is the wasps. Everything else was great!

Overall, we truly enjoyed the experience and the charm of the cottage. I didn’t mind that it’s located in the parking lot of Mr. Gatti’s, but the dogs barking next door were rather annoying. Cleanliness was fine; however, please invest in a new toilet seat. It would add value to have a clean looking seat.

Really close to downtown shops and Luchenbach is a few miles away as well as peach orchards. Fireworks for July 4th were right across the street. Really nice, quiet place. Will definitely stay here avain!

We had a great time . First time in the area . Scenery was awesome . The stable was everything the picture suggests ,rustic and homey . The bed was excellent and the bath was beautiful . Thanks again Kim for coming to our rescue .

We towed two cars in for the carfest. At first glance I did not know where to park the trailers but after speaking to the owner at Mr. Gatti’s pizza, they allowed us to park our trailers under their covered parking in the back. When I book this listing, we were told that parking wouldn’t be an issue for the trailers, but had I not talked to the Mr. Gatti’s folks, we could have had some inconveniences. All worked out well though. You could hear the pups barking at the shelter, but we have dogs so it wasn’t an issue for us. The A/C stopped cooling the first night, I text Kim and she had someone come out and fix it within the hour! Overall the stay was very nice. The decor of the house was very unique and fit the style of the house perfectly. If we need to tow a trailer up there again, we would definitely look at booking here again.

We came to Fredericksburg for my 41st Birthday. We really enjoyed our stay!

Very nice decor but kitchen amenities very limited. Would recommend a toaster; perhaps S&P; better selection of coffee pods. The location was right beside the highway and it was very noisy. Also next door to a Pizza place with late night noise.

Enjoyed all the our B&B had to offer. We will be back again.

Such a sweet place. Super conveniently located. Would definitely stay there again.

A little disappointed in the location. Property attached to. Mr Gatti’s pizza joint. Parking was in their parking lot. Neat place but could do with a good deep cleaning. Lots of knick knacks that all needed a good dusting. Blanket on the king bed needs replaced due to stains.

It was exactly what I needed for my stay. It was quiet, yet very close to public business so I felt safer knowing that people could hear me if I needed help or had an emergency. You can tell the people who manage this property put in a lot of care to make sure their guests feel welcome. I will absolutely be back.

We absolutely loved the property and it being next to a pizza place was a bonus since we had a 9 year old with us. I would’ve given it 5 stars but the constant howling from the spca was really sad and constant. This was disclosed in the beginning though so we had an idea of what we were getting in to. Still, we would stay here again.

The property was spacious and comfortable with easy access to Main St and downtown. It was a little bit odd to be just off of the Mr Gattis’ parking lot but it didn’t interfere with our stay at all.
