Lo Chalet Oscar è una struttura rinnovata di recente con 5 camere da letto e 5 bagni, allestiti per garantire una fantastica vacanza in montagna. La struttura si trova a soli 5 minuti a piedi dai negozi e ristoranti di Chamonix e dalla famosa stazione di sollevamento Aguille du Midi.
La camera da letto principale è un favoloso spazio soppalcato che copre l'intero piano superiore con vista a 360 gradi sulle famose vette della valle di Chamonix. Lo chalet dispone di una sauna e di due soggiorni separati e cucine, creando uno spazio molto flessibile.
Ideale per gruppi fino a 10 persone, lo chalet può ospitare fino a 14 persone, utilizzando due divani letto. Si prega di informarsi su gruppi di più di 10 adulti.

Lo chalet si sviluppa su 3 piani con lo spazio abitativo principale a piano aperto al piano terra. Da un lato c'è una zona salotto con 2 sedie divano Natuzzi e divano e poltrona aggiuntivi e sul lato opposto è un tavolo da pranzo che può ospitare comodamente 10. Il soggiorno presenta un soffitto a doppia altezza su un lato con scultura rampicante di un artista thailandese. Grandi finestre scorrevoli offrono l'accesso al balcone e terrazza con mobili da giardino. Questo è un ottimo spazio per gustare i pasti all'aperto durante i mesi estivi.
La cucina a pianta aperta è separata dallo spazio abitativo da un bar per la colazione costruito in granito locale recuperato dalla casa originale prima della ristrutturazione. La cucina è completamente attrezzata con tutto il necessario per self-catering. C'è un forno full-size, piano cottura in vetroceramica, forno a microonde, lavastoviglie e frigorifero e freezer (nota; il congelatore è piccolo).
Per il relax dopo una giornata attiva sulla montagna è possibile lenire i muscoli doloranti nella sauna. Lo chalet è inoltre dotato di una TV che consente di spegnere davanti a un film.
Per comodità, al piano seminterrato, lo chalet dispone anche di un ripostiglio con lavatrice, asciugatrice, un vano per il bagagliaio separato con deposito sci e scarponi e asciuga scarponi ad aria calda.

House was big, close to town and able to walk everywhere. Loved that we didn't need a car. Just FYI--TV is quite small for the living area. The TV did not work for us anyways which was another issue but the owner was going to look into it. The washer and dryer are very small for a house that size so plan accordingly. Otherwise house was great for our family of 6.

Chalet Oscar is in a fantastic location central to town. We had a big group (6 adults and one infant) which works well in the layout of the chalet. It is only 8 mins walk to a great bakery, 2 minutes walk to a fantastic bar and about 10 minute into the centre of town. Access to activities was brilliant and we got free train passes from the tourist office which made for a great week when not much else was open. The chalet has a great layout with the ground floor being completely self contained (its own kitchen / living area). Only minor issue was the traffic noise if staying on the top floor of the chalet from early morning. Great host communication!

Can’t fault anything about the chalet. The accommodation is clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped; everything has been well thought through.
We rented this as part of my partner’s 50th birthday celebrations with family joining us for some of the stay. They were all very impressed with the chalet, and although we had a full house it never felt crowded.

This was a great house for our family of 7. Everything was just a few minutes walk or bus ride for us. Easy walk to access Monte Blanc Gondola. Also away from the noise of town center. Great views.

Family of 5 in the springtime - plenty of room to spread out but still come together for meals and social time. The house is clean, modern, and well-appointed. Some of us really enjoyed the sauna after a day of hiking. Things to note - the house is on 3 levels. You can get a car near levels 1 and 2 for loading/unloading. The master is on the top level with a small winding staircase. The entrance for Aiguille du Midi is an easy 7-10 minute walk mostly downhill. You can watch the cable cars go up/down from the house. While there's a pizza restaurant close by, most of the main part of town is a 15-20 minute walk.

This chalet has everything you need , is extremely well equipped and has bags of character. All of us were delighted with it and enormously enjoyed our stay. We would certainly come back. Grant was also very helpful throughout .

Excellent séjour
Ce chalet est absolument magnifique et décoré avec goût ! Il est très spacieux. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour entre amis. Nous étions 8 et la place ne manquait pas ! Le propriétaire est disponible et répond rapidement. Je recommande vivement ce chalet !

Très beau chalet, bien équipé proche du centre ville de Chamonix à pied.
Le chalet n’est pas équipé de climatisation.
Environnement extérieur assez bruyant en raison de la proximité d’un axe routier.
Nous avons apprécié les produits locaux et la bouteille de champagne offerts.

Chalet grand standing et tout confort
Notre court séjour au chalet Oscar a été un enchantement. Dans un contexte Covid, quel bonheur de se ressourcer au pied du Mont Blanc dans ce chalet luxueux, idéalement situé pour se balader dans le centre de CHAMONIX.
A proximité également (en voiture) des premières pistes de Ski Nordique.
L'accueil a été parfait avec des produits locaux offerts ainsi qu'une bouteille de champagne.
Le chalet est aménagé avec beaucoup de goût et tout a été pensé dans les moindres détails pour notre plus grand confort.
Les 3 niveaux du chalet permettent à chacun de pouvoir s'isoler si besoin. Nous étions une famille de 8 personnes, et les enfants (ados et jeunes adultes) ont été ravis d'avoir le premier niveau du chalet pour eux ;-)

Chalet Oscar
This property is absolutely awesome. Three minutes walk to Cham Sud bus stop for access to all ski areas. Place has been renovated to a very high standard. It was a delight to stay in it. Grant was a perfect host, accommodating us with anything we required. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone looking to visit Chamonix Valley. Cheers

Excellent New Year's Skiing Trip
Weve just returned from an excellent family skiing holiday in Chamonix. The chalet made the holiday.
It's been exquisitely renovated and decarated and is perfect for relaxing after a long day skiing. The boot dryer was an excellent addition.
We can't fault our stay and are already looking into booking for next year.

Chalet Oscar is amazing
All 7 people in our group thought this a fantastic place, even better than shown in the photos. The chalet exudes quality, the owner is very friendly and helpful and the neighbourhood is excellent. We tried most of the recommendations in the welcome pack and agreed with them too. We all look forward to staying here again!

A Fabulous French Alps Retreat
We just returned from our stay at Chalet Oscar and my house is disappointing compared to where we just living! Grant's perfectly renovated chalet is just amazing. Everything is brand new, sparkling clean, and luxurious. The three upstairs bedrooms all have their own bathrooms so all the adults in our party had privacy. We left the entire downstairs to the kids, who had to share showers/bathrooms but there was plenty of room for everyone. The dining area is all sliding doors which we had open for every meal. We ate a few breakfasts/lunches in town but had dinner in the chalet every night. The town is walking distance from the chalet and we went there each day, including taking the gondola to the top of the mountain. There are also several hikes that are within walking distance from the chalet. I have to comment that although we were there in the summer and were not skiing, this chalet has the most unbelievable area for storing ski equipment. It is like nothing I have ever seen. There is a separate entrance where you would take off all your ski clothes and store ski equipment and it would not be in your way at all during your stay. There is also a sauna and huge shower outside the sauna which we did not use in the summer weather. The master suite (which is where I stayed) is a treat as it has its own loft and sitting area. The house is decorated very stylishly - plenty of fur which we loved! We were 8 people in total and we were very comfortable, but you could definitely fit more if they were couples (double beds). Do not hesitate to rent this chalet - it was amazing!

Fabulous stay!
Chalet Oscar was an amazing retreat in Chamonix - in a wonderful location, but quiet and off the beaten path. The space itself is large, stylish, cozy, and made for relaxation between adventures. The hosts were great communicators , helpful, and have excellent taste. Thank you!

Grant from start to finish was extremely professional and helpful.
The chalet is absolutely perfect, spacious and has all you need for your stay. After a days skiing/hiking it's great to relax in the sauna. Chilling in the evening with a glass of wine overlooking the beautiful mountains is amazing. Perfect location, walking distance to the town centre and short drives to many of the ski lifts.. Loved it all, wish we could of stayed a few more days. We hope to return. 😁

Fantastic chalet
Everything about our short stay was great - location, communication, kitchen facilities, living/dining area, bedroom, boot-room.
This is a stunning chalet, every bit as good as the photos suggest. A perfect place for a family get together. Highly recommended by everyone who stayed there. If we came to Chamonix this would be our first choice every time!

Perfect Accommodation for group holiday in Chamonix!
Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Chalet Oscar and truly hope that we can return in the near future! The interior was clean, spacious, and offered plenty of modern amenities for the entire group. The Chalet is <10 minute walk to Chamonix Sud Bus Station and the Midi lift allowing for easy access to all mountains in Chamonix Valley and Courmayeur. Grant offered ample communication and was extremely responsive to accommodating our travel times. Overall, we had a fantastic experience at Chalet Oscar!

Beautiful Ski chalet in the heart of Chamonix
We were fortunate to have found this wonderful chalet. We were a family of 5 on holiday with another family of 5 (2 grandmas in the group). We all had privacy as all rooms have private bathrooms and showers. We were amazed the hot water was enough for all 10 in the group! The living area is gorgeous with beautiful views. Two washing machines downstairs were a nice touch. Loved the room to enter after skiing with the area to hang boots to warm! Wow! The interiors were done with great taste. Cant wait togo back..
