Large Family Friendly Beach House in Village with the perfect private pool!
Situato nel villaggio, a pochi passi dal molo, dalla spiaggia, dal faro, da famosi ristoranti, negozi e dalla NUOVA zona di divertimento con piscina, parco giochi e minigolf. Questo grande cottage classico sulla spiaggia è St. Simons al suo meglio con tutti i comfort di casa !! Le ampie zone soggiorno e pranzo sono perfette per riunioni di famiglia fino a 17 persone, ma è ancora abbastanza accogliente per un gruppo più piccolo. La piscina MOLTO grande, la doccia esterna e l'ampio patio sono "il posto" per divertirsi al sole, grigliate e divertenti! C'è una grande veranda riparata al largo di una delle camere da letto al piano superiore che è perfetta per il tempo tranquillo, rilassarsi con il tuo libro preferito o gustare cocktail pomeridiani. La cucina ben attrezzata offre tutte le tue esigenze e molto altro! La luminosa veranda è organizzata in modo confortevole per gruppi più piccoli, guardando la TV o giocando. L'enorme zona giorno è il luogo perfetto per guardare la partita o semplicemente rilassarsi sui comodi divani.

It was a first full family vacation and for the most part this place nails all the needs. It’s so close to the town and for that alone it’s awesome!! The pool was really nice to have and the house has plenty of space. Honestly it’s tough to complain with the price and the things I’ve mentioned.
It is a bit dated and could use a few more things kitchen wise but that is just minor.

It was our first visit to St. Simon, we loved our location! We had 7 adults and 3 kiddos stay and there was more room than we could use. We loved the large pool and the large room to eat and relax.

We have been renting this property for at least 15 years and put in a request for 2024. That should say something! We noticed the improvements. New fencing, landscaping,pool patio,side entrance, etc. We had a plumbing problem that was taken care of quickly. I would recommend this property for a large family or gathering, just don't try to get our week!😎

We had more comfortable space than we have ever had in a vacation rental!!! So many King size beds and lots of bathrooms. The pool was huge and spectacular! The family room was spectacular! Such a short walk to the beach and a short drive to East Beach when the tides were high. Plenty of towels in each bathroom and plenty of TP too! Close to grocery stores and a short walk to “Downtown Dining” and Shopping.8 adults and six children had a wonderful time making memories as a family. Thank you!Owners/Management were quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had and made sure we had a lovey stay.

It was everything we expected it to be. Nice and spacious for 10 adults and three kids. A little disappointed in the kitchen though. It was not that organized and it would’ve been nice if there had been a large stockpot and a large frying pan. A nice new gas grill would be great. The existing grill has seen better days.

The house was very clean, enjoyed the pool, spaciousness of the house, and close proximity to the village. The only thing I would recommend is to better outfit the kitchen, like there were no serving bowls for salads, no vegetable peeler, things like that. Also, the refrigerator froze the produce in the produce drawer, and food in the back of the shelves froze. We would stay here again, just know what to bring next time.

Older place but very clean and convenient

There are a few very serious areas of concern we had with this house. The house has BED BUGS. My 2 granddaughters are now covered from head to toes in bites. They started breaking out on Friday before we checked out yesterday. They shared the room upstairs in the 2 twin beds. My grandson was in the Queen bed in the same room but so far has not broken out and no one else in the family has either, at this stage. These girls are cousins and live in different states so the only thing they had in common was sharing a bedroom for the week. My entire family is having to take huge precautions so, hopefully, we do not bring these bugs into our individual homes. The expense to fumigate 4 houses would be enormous, not to mention the agony of being covered in bed bug bites. My granddaughters are miserable. Other areas of concern is the overall cleanliness of the house. In large upstairs bedroom a strong musty/urine smell; finger nails on the floor in the bathroom and shower curtain has mold on it. The pool deck could use a power wash to get rid of the mold around the perimeter, next to the house and I do not believe the tile floors are being mopped. Shortly after arriving at the house last Saturday, I was wiping up some water on the kitchen floor where an ice cube had melted. I got a paper towel to wipe it up and the paper towel was BLACK. That indicates the tile isn't being cleaned between rentals. I was charged 400.00 for cleaning and I assume the people renting the house before me were charged that too. VERY subpar cleaning service. I hope you take action on the things I've mentioned, especially the bed bugs, so future renters do not experience what my family and I went through and are still going through on our, once a year, family vacation.

Great location - good for large families
We had a great stay. The realty company is very responsive. We did have a few issues but they got them taken care of quickly. The location is fantastic. Close to the beach, shopping, site seeing, and restaurants.

Great Stay
We completely enjoyed our stay. The house was awesome. Could use some updates but wasn’t really a big deal to us. The pool was amazing….we used it day and night. We loved that you could walk to the shops, pier and restaurants. Would come back in a heartbeat!!

First the gift bag was a great idea. After a 6 hour drive the snacks were gobbled up quickly. New ceiling fans really brightened the entire house, especially the great room. New paint helped also. The house was very clean when we arrived as was the pool.We encountered no problems during out stay even when the pool filtering system was replaced. Looking forward to return visits. Husband has Stage IV Pancreatic Cancer so we needed the perfect house for our family to come together for a memorable vacation (9 adults/5 children/1 dog). Well, God allowed us to find the perfect house! Kids were all upstairs so husband got the needed rest. Layout was perfect! Kids played in sunroom while husband rested in living room at times and nobody could hear the kids in the other room. I'd have to say the pool was the highlight! Everyone enjoyed time together around the large pool. Very quiet neighborhood close to the Village. Loved walking to nearest beach access which was very close just to get a beautiful view of the ocean! Can't say enough about perfect this place was for our family! Also, the people at Georgia Coast Realty went out of their way to accommodate our family. Wonderful experience all the way around! I'd recommend this home to anyone with a large family who loves a large pool, a quiet environment, and a place very close to the Village! Again, our time enjoyed with our family at this home was PRICELESS and for that we are very thankful!

Cottage is in a very good location short walk to town. The home and furnishing are older but very comfortable. Everyone said their beds were comfortable too. Rooms are big, pool is great, no problems at all with our stay. Lots of parking. We all loved it and would come back.

Nice location, quirky house that could use some updates
The location of this house is excellent. Close to the main street and to the beaches of St. Simons. The house itself has a bit of a quirky layout (which isn't a big deal) but could also use some serious maintenance / cleanup / updating to make it more attractive.

Excursion extraordinaire
The layout of the house is perfect for big families. Hugh Family Room. There is space enough for each to have their own. The downstairs bedrooms are offset from the upstairs bedrooms. No thumping and bumping from above. Two blocks to village and pier, nice pool. Overall: two and a half thumps up.

Perfect family vacation
This is a big house that comfortably accommodated a party of 15. The house sits a couple of blocks from the Middle of st Simons Plenty of space for a large family. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, baking utensils and bakeware to support a big feast. Although its a older home it is well kept. The dryer went out end of the week but was quickly repaired. Great communication. The pool is huge and well keep, even had the pool guy come by middle of week to clean. very pleased with our experience .

Fantastic for Family Fun
Perfect spot for a large family of all ages. Location couldn't be better. Everyone enjoyed the gigantic pool. It's an old, well-worn house that has had rooms added over the years making for an odd layout. Large bedrooms with comfortable beds and plenty of bathrooms. The house and some of the furnishings are showing their age which is fine when you have small children and lots of people. Windows would use a good cleaning. TV's in almost every room, though we never turned any of them on. Kitchen was well-supplied. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

Spacious
The house is ideal for large family get togethers. Great location and walking distance to the village shops and restaurants. Nice yard with pool. On the downside, the house definitely needs a thorough cleaning and a little updating. A gas grill would be nice along with lounge chairs around the pool.

My inlaws grew up on the island so we love coming back here. This was a home owned by a childhood friend of my wife and she had many memories staying here. The home is eclectic and interesting, with many indications of it's history. From the lamps and furniture to the wood paneling and wood floors (that came from the Brunswick ports) this house has a ton of character. The large pool in the back yard and the proximity to the pier area were also plusses. We would come back to this location in a minute.
