Nice house with good amenities. Second trip to the Beachwalk Resort. Felt 4 years ago when there the properties were better manicured…seemed a lot of overgrown/natural tall grasses this year. Quiet resort. Nice pool.

The house and resort are very nice, but the extra fees and overall price were pretty expensive. For a resort that size, you need more than one tennis court. We didn't get to partake in the amenities because they were always "booked" yet no one was using them.

The rental was lovely. Everything seemed new and it was the perfect size for a family of 5 with older children. The only issue was they did not have any TV service set up. We had to stream using our own services.

Everything was as expected, other than the TV's didn't work and the golfcart did not have a charge when we arrived. The staff was quick to remedy these issues, and the overall stay was great!

We had a great time at Looney Dunes! The house was fully stocked and we loved the layout with the second bedroom upstairs. It was very convenient being right next to the park for our two year old. He loved the slide on the hill and the whole park is great. We love Beachwalk and look forward to going back next year!

The resort-style community was lovely with great amenities and fun for all ages. The kids loved the pool and the little beach. The property was beautiful and clean, staff was wonderful - would definitely stay again! Just as advertised, highly recommend!

We had such a wonderful, relaxing week. We had everything we needed. The kids loved the resort. Plenty of things to do. We only left to go get groceries and that’s it.We will be back!

This house is directly across from the playground and allowed us easy access for our two young kids to run out and play. I did not closely read the description beforehand but the 2nd floor "room" has no door. It's more of a loft. That made getting our toddler to stay in bed a challenge. The stairs are also very steep. All amenities were present as needed and the house was cozy for our family of 4. It was in overall good condition and very clean. The washing machine and dishwasher were incredibly loud. We learned the first night not to run those while we slept. Great upgrades to the community property gave us a great experience!

We had some issues with our stay - the golf cart's battery dies, even after charging overnight. One of the bed's bedding had not been changed (sand). There was not gas in the grill to make dinner. We only stayed two nights so this was all frustrating. Management was helpful in addressing some of the issues, but I don't think we'll stay there again.

This is a perfect house for a couple or two couples. It’s one of the smaller units in beachwalk and it’s super cute and nice. We stayed her during our wedding and it was perfect for two of us. Would rent again!

Overall a positive experience. With young kids, being right beside the playground was a nice perk! The shed provided all we needed for the beach including umbrella, wagon, chairs and bodyboards. The downstairs bathroom could use some shelving and hooks. There was no where to place any bathroom items besides the small sink and toilet top.

Great property in an amazing location, awesome amenities, beach access, and perfect family spot. Only complaint is the beds are harder than granite. We ended up sleeping on the couch the master bed is so bad.

This was our first VRBO experience, and our cottage was wonderful! It exceeded our expectations, and included all the comforts of home - details even I wouldn’t have thought of! The surrounding area was cute and cozy, and we loved being so close to the beach! Can’t wait to stay there again!

We had a wonderful weekend staying at this house with our family. The location being right next to the park was great for our kids to play anytime. The resort is amazing and the beach absolutely beautiful. We did have some issues with the property and had to have maintenance out - broken microwave, no trash bags, showerhead that wasn't working properly, items missing that you don't realize you need until you don't have them - like a lighter for the firepit, scissors in the kitchen, etc. It does seem like this place needs some updating or attention. But the resort management was responsive and helpful. Other than those inconveniences - it was a great trip!

Wonderful
The house was lovely; the windows had great lighting and one side was forest and the other was the park. The little ones really enjoyed being close to the park. We could sit on the patio and watch them play!
The beds were comfy and everyone slept great. We loved out stay there and will definitely come again and suggest to others what a fun place stay!

Unit was exactly as I expected it to be. Everything was clean, and well stocked. We found things easily and everything was accessible. The was no ladle, you could use a ladle because soup. Thanks for a lovely weekend. We will be back.

This home was perfect and if you've got littles, the location can't be beat! Our kids could walk right out the door and be at the park - which was fantastic after being out all day and tired. We never had to think about something to do to entertain them! The house was clean, cute, and had all the essentials you needed. There's also a little storage house on the patio which was great for keeping our kid toys and fire wood inside. Everything was perfect with the house, and the management company was great to work with. The only thing that could've been better was the mattress in the main bedroom didn't feel so great. I would 100% consider renting here again!

Not the best place in cooler months
We rented this place in March. There was nothing to do in the surrounding area. All the reviews were In The summer months which I could see be more fun. No pool, no golf cart, no patio table/chairs, or fire pit with chairs. The other reviews are misleading because all the amenities are not available all year long. Also, there is no closet in master and both bathrooms need shower caddies because there is not any place to put things. Also, they only give you 4 bath towels so you have to do laundry right away in order for everyone to bathe! Then, they only leave 4 laundry pods! Also, skimpy on pillows as well. I would not rent this place again.

House was lovely and very well appointed. Had my 2 and 5 year old with me they loved the park being so close! The upstairs area doesn’t have a door but isn’t completely open like a loft so it worked out just great. Would definitely rent this house again.

Fun stay with daughter and friends
Overall, the property was nice and staff accommodating. A few things in the property that would enhance the experience. The shower curtain in both showers need replaced. It would be nice to have a place to hang clothes or a luggage rack for suitcases. The area is beautiful and the cottage was clean. The living area and kitchen are smaller then the picture shows. 10 am is an early check-out. The coffee maker needed cleaned, but they brought a new small pot quickly. We had a wonderful time.

A couple of things. . .
The cottage is very cute. The location is like a little "mock Victorian" town. It was not clear that our particular cottage had no parking so we used the parking for the cottage next door. If it was a busy season, we probably wouldn't have been able to do that. I was told upon check-in that parking was only one cottage away. When we actually saw where the parking area was, we were surprised to see that it was quite a distance from our cottage. That was misleading. Also, we found a soiled shower curtain and the cable was not working. We called to relay the information. Upon return to our cottage, maintenance had left our door unlocked. Additionally, we were never informed by phone when the maintenance would occur. That was pretty concerning, as well.

A wonderful place for family to gather! We were here for our son's wedding at Friendship Botanic Gardens. We used this place as a gathering place for family and the wedding party as well as our sleeping space. We cooked breakfast for several people and there was plenty of space to eat. We also relaxed after the wedding and watched football. The ring bearer loved the playground! It was peaceful and a comfort to have a nice place to come back to in between events and the wedding. Easy to get restaurants and the beach.

We had a great time on our trip. There were fun bonuses to the stay we figured out after arriving. We really loved the music in the park and being able to take the golf cart to the board walk. The houses were all very different and the resort fun to explore, with hidden surprises throughout!
