Ugly left over furniture. No dish washer or washer dryer. Too much to do when leaving. Scattered notes about procedures and not the same instructions on all of them. Water in showers very difficult to get right, either hot or freezing. Not a good experience.

It was VERY expensive and the Owner needs to provide luxury towels and bedding

This house was perfect for our new years getaway. Right in the heart of Blowing Rock which made the stay much more enjoyable having everything within minutes away. Highly recommend if your looking for cozy cottage in the Blowing Rock area. Owners where a pleasure to work with and communication was excellent!

Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at this Blowing Rock cottage. The location was perfect, and the house was just cozy and had so much charm. We especially enjoyed the sun porch and the games available to play while we were there.

Great location, good accommodations. We love Blowing Rock and wanted to stay there for our ride on the Creeper Trail. Everything worked as planned! But Blowing Rock was busting at the seams last weekend.

We loved the deck with comfortable chairs and glider! The kitchen was well equipped as were the bathrooms. Just what we needed for a restful vacation!

The house was perfect, clean and stocked with everything we needed! The location was what attracted me to it; liked being walking distance to downtown blowing rock and out of the loud noise from people and cars! The owner was very quick to answer any questions and very helpful. Also loved the nice back porch to relax on!

We had a great time while in Blowing Rock and the location of this property was perfect for our adventure. Very close to downtown! The property was clean and well maintained, but be prepared for an older home with no modern updates. The kitchen is on the smaller side, but includes the essentials for cooking. The plumbing was a bit of a challenge with respect to getting the proper water temperature in the downstairs shower. Excellent location and clean house!

Loved the house, the basement was perfect and location was awesome!

We actually thought it was one of the nicest cottages we have stayed in. However, it was difficult to regulate the hot water in both showers. Don't know what could be done about that, but it was a large problem. A dishwasher and WiFi would have been nice, but we managed with out it. Would probably not come back because of the hot water.

Wonderful fall weekend.

House was old but nice. Had everything we needed and then some. Would have liked the kitchen and bathroom to be cleaner. Beds were quite comfortable and very clean. No internet, but that's not necessarily a bad thing when you are trying to get away.

Great house near the heart of Blowing Rock. Easy walking distance to town.

We had a great stay, the house was immaculately clean and within a short walking distance to Main Street. The owner was very accommodating and quick to respond to all our requests. We will definitely keep this property in mind for our future trips to Blowing Rock!

This home is so cute! and a stone away from Blowing Rock. We walked to restaurants. The home is very clean and full of thoughtful details. The kitchen has the basics​ including coffee and dreamer, and the bathrooms have shampoo, conditioner and lotion. Great Service!

We had a great weekend! It was so nice to get away from the summer heat and enjoy Blowing Rock!

Location was awesome. Very clean, very comfy house.

The cottage is exactly as described...close to App ski resort, has well stocked kitchen and is clean. Owners thoughtfully supply necessities (even hot chocolate and marshmallows for kids!). The cottage does not have washer dryer or WiFi, which I didn’t realize until our arrival. However, overall a good pick!

Our family of five stayed for five days to ski and tube and had a great time. Home was convenient to restaurants, shopping, recreation. Owners were easy to reach for questions and set the home up with instructions, labels, and extras for us. Neighbors were also very welcoming during our stay. We loved the gas fireplace.

Enjoyed our stay and really appreciated the location. We walked to Blowing Rock both days we were there and although it's .5 miles it's a very easy walk. The home itself is older, no frills but comfortable and has all the basics.

Great cottage. It is located off of HWY321. Easy to find. It is within walking distance to Blowing Rock. But it was way too cold for us Floridians to enjoy the walk. The cottage has a supplied kitchen and a coffee bar which included cider and hot chocolate. The bathrooms have plenty of towels and supplies. The bedrooms have comfortable beds and extra blankets. Though the fireplace was not working, the cottage was well heated. What a great view. You can sit in the dining room or living room and enjoy the view through the large picture windows. There is a deck and sunroom, but it was too cold to enjoy. This is a comfortable cozy cottage. Communication with the owner was always prompt. Would stay here again and again.

We loved being within walking distance of downtown Blowing Rock for our Girls' Weekend. The porch was nice to sit on and relax.
