Beautiful property close to town.

Nice, clean cottage that is not fancy, but had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our toddler crawled all over the place and loved it. Kitchen had everything we needed and more, despite appearing dated at first glance. Living room was a great place to hang out and read, watch TV or just gaze out the windows at all of the surrounding trees. Very quiet time of year (late May/early June) maybe due to lots of bugs, but we heard from the locals they’re gone by Fathers Day. Lots of conveniences nearby, but you feel secluded in the woods. Awesome place to sleep. Overall a really nice stay - would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at the Moore cottage. I have to agree with the prior reviews that it is small but mighty! The location cannot be beat. Secluded yet down the road from mount snow. My family of 4 spent 5 nights here over winter break. We were lucky to get a good amount of snow and plowing was done timely. My kids had a blast. We hope to and look forward to coming again!

Property was very nice and everything we needed for a few days of skiing. My only concern was that the driveway is kind of on the steep side and it was icy the first two days there making it very difficult to get down to the flat end of the driveway. It would of been nice to see some additional sand and salt on those days, overall a very good experience and would rent again if allowed.

We felt right at home as soon as we walked in. The spacious family room had a cozy spot for everyone in my family. The house was super clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything I needed for cooking and baking. The house is so private and quiet at the end of a dirt road and within minutes you are at Mount Snow. We hope to return!

Beautiful home very close to the mountain. Exceptionally clean and well maintained. Beautiful fireplace. This was the perfect rental for our family. We stayed during the Christmas break. I look forward to renting again.

Just what we were looking for! Nephew’s wedding at Mt Snow, house is one mile away. Clean, comfortable and all the amenities of home! Definitely recommend staying here. And the hosts sent clear communication about rules of the house along with local places to go. Thank you!

Wonderful location in the forest and very private. The porch is great for reading and relaxing in the afternoon. The kitchen is tight but has everything you might need. Andy Moore was responsive to our few questions.

My family spends a few days up in VT every summer, and took a chance on a new rental space. Very glad we ended up choosing this location - we wanted for nothing, and had a very smooth trip! Kitchen was well-stocked with tools, there's plenty of porch space to relax as a big family, and it's not far from lots of great ways to spend your time. We did get to see a black bear cross the driveway on our first night, so just be careful not to leave any food outside!

Our family enjoyed our trip to Mt Snow for a brief ski weekend. The property size, layout and location was perfect for us. Sufficient space for comfortable sleeping arrangments and the living room/kitchen area was perfect for family dinners, game night and movie night. We took advantage of the fireplace and made a fire every night! Thank you!

This cabin was small but mighty. We loved the location and the how clean the place was. (I’m crazy about cleanliness!!) Communication with the host as well as key retrieval/drop off was seamless. For some reason we couldn’t figure out how to use the fire place, and thankfully I read in another review that you had to bring your own sheets and towels. But that wasn’t an issue at all for us because the place was so perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 boys). And truly 3 minutes from the mountain, coffee, and restaurants. The kitchen is small but has everything you will need. Wouldn’t hesitate to book this place again. Any season!

We were very happy with our stay at this property, it was conveniently located, it was comfortable, and the bedrooms were a nice size with room for storage. Large windows , 2 decks and the fireplace with plenty of wood made it great experience for our family. Andy, The owner, was very nice and kept communication lines open. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at this cottage! It was a perfect location, close to Mount Snow. The house was a perfect set up for our family with four children and the surrounding area was beautiful!

Andy’s place is a cozy spot perfect for a small group looking to spend a weekend together. The proximity to Mount Snow can’t be beat. We came in at the tail end of a rough winter storm so it was a little scary getting up to the house, but we made it in our 2WD. The fireplace and plentiful stock of wood were the focal point for us! Thanks Andy, would love to stay here again if we’re ever in the area.

This place really beat our expectations. It isn’t fancy and new but it is quirky and appealing and cozy. The beds are super comfy the showers are hot, the fireplace is amazing, great living room / dining area for hanging out. The communication was excellent - the only thing that was tricky was finding the spot to pick up the key. But we had fair warning it was weird. And did I mention the location??!! 3 min drive to the base lodge.

Seamless experience renting the property with no issues. House is less than a 5 min drive to the mountain. Would recommend for future trips.

My friend and I had a good stay at this property. It served as a good jumping off point for a fun day of hiking on a beautiful Saturday up in Vermont. Pros: - Great location - Plenty of space for my friend and I. Would be enough space for a few others too. - Very private - Wonderful deck to enjoy the outdoors Cons: - Certain things needed additional cleaning/outright replacement. We had bought chicken anticipating a fun night grilling, but found the grille to be unusable as it still had dried grease from a prior guest. The grille was also rusted out, and the brush to clean off the grate was completely worn. We found this to be a bit frustrating. - In line with this, we found it strange linens and towels were not included given we were paying a sizable cleaning fee. Overall, we had a good, but not great, stay given the above.

This lodge is nestled in the woods nearby the ski resort. It is a short 3 minute drive to the mount snow parking lots. There a 1/4th mile gravel/dirt road leading upto the property however my 2 wheel drive vehicle did not have a problem even when it was raining. The lodge has a nice deck for the outside with alot of privacy as it is surrounded by woods. Inside it was pretty spacious and while i had a party of 3, it would have been sizeable enough for 7. House was clean, hot water and heater worked. Fireplace was solid but the operating instructions to open the hood were not clear so had to call the host. We had a problem picking up our key as it was off-location and at 11pm none of the phone numbers provided to us were answered. However on the next days when we contacted host during the day it was an instant pick-up. We loved that the kitchen had a full suite of cooking tools. Make sure to pickup your groceries before you get to the town as there is not a sizeable grocery store there. House was very cozy and would go there again.

Our stay was fabulous combining "old-school" & "new-school"... retro VT Cottage, very private in a beautiful wooded setting. Our visit was everything and more having worked on the Mt. Snow Ski School in the early 70's, teaching my son there at the age of 3 and now my teenage grandsons (3-generations) of Mt. Snow skiers... we absolutely loved the Cottage with all the essentials... very, very nice and we hope to return again next year same time same place... M&M+peanuts
