We were not anticipating staying on Madeline Island, but we are so glad we did! This location was perfect, right downtown easy to walk to all the shops and beautiful views for coffee in the morning or wine at night. Super clean, check in and check out were super easy and it was great having easy parking!

We had a great stay in this 2 bed condo right on the main street in LaPointe….close to ferry, food, and a view of the harbor. There was an energy that comes from that. Communication with the hosts was excellent - they showed a real concern that we experience a good stay. Very appreciated. It is not a new place - had some quirks but overall met our needs and beyond. Bonus: The restaurant below our condo serves a delicious dinner on Friday and Saturday evenings.

We truly loved our stay at this cozy condo. Everything about it was perfect. Clean, conveniently located, spacious, comfortable with beautiful views. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into the furnishings to make it a really nice getaway spot.

The condo was as I expected, convenient location. 2 blocks from the ferry dock. I had to go to Bayfield to meet my daughter, granddaughter and great granddaughter . We had a great time on Madeline Island and would go there again. 20 stairs was a bit rough but was good exercise.

We were attending a quilt seminar and needed a relaxing private place to spend the week. Colleen is quick to respond to any questions and the condo is set up perfectly!

My wife and I stayed here when she was taking a week-long class at the School of Arts. The condo was exactly as described and included all the kitchen items needed. The home is centrally located within easy walking of the town’s amenities. It’s about a 4 minute drive to the Madeline Island School of Arts, if that’s your primary destination. Great views of the harbor and people scurrying around the town from the deck.

We've stayed here many times and it's always a pleasure communicating with Colleen and Tom. The condo is everything you need including parking. It's right in the heart of the action but because you're on the second floor it's far enough away from it all to enjoy the beautiful views of Lake Superior. We find the large deck to be our favorite place to hang out to people watch and sip a cocktail. It's steps away from the lake, several bars and restaurants and even the grocery store (though please note, groceries are limited somewhat based on time of year and how busy the weekends are). An amazing condo with amazing owners.

We had a wonderful stay here over Thanksgiving weekend. I am no stranger to Madeline Island, but this was my first time at this property. The condo is beautiful, with a large deck and a lake view. It's right in town, so you have easy access to everything that La Pointe has to offer. The place is well-furnished and the kitchen is well-supplied, we were able to cook a full Thanksgiving dinner with only a few of our own cookware items. The beds are very comfortable. There's trash and recycling right downstairs. Make sure to check out Mission Hill coffee shop right below the condo year round, and Seiche restaurant while it is in season! The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. We had such a lovely stay.

Location is great. Host is very attentive. The place is nice and clean. It would have been nice if there was coffee for the coffee machines. We were surprised that most places were closed after Labor day. In all we are happy with the place.

It doesn't get any better than this place. We loved being in the heart of town and such easy access to the mopeds and ferry. Had a blast on the 5 hour boat ride - highly recommend it. Our accommodation were perfect - clean, pretty and well kept. Hope to come again!

Great Getaway on Madeline Island!
This was a wonderful place to stay on Madeline Island in a great location! It was very clean and the host, Colleen, replied quickly to my questions and provided helpful recommendations for our time on the island. Two things to note: Tom’s Burned Down Cafe is a block away and played music late into the night. Also, one of the bedroom doors wouldn’t stay shut without the help of a rock. I don’t believe either of these things would have mattered if we had the windows closed, but we wanted the fresh lakeshore air. Still a 5-star rental!

If you like being close to the restaurants, the bars, the art galleries, and the water this condo is for you! The condo was clean and it had everything we needed for our extra long weekend away. The hosts were excellent and answered all of our questions. Definitely five stars.

It was close smug to the ferry to not need a vehicle. We did bring ours and drove around the island. We happened to hit a weekend where there was a town festival going on. It was close enough to walk to anything in the mainstreet we wanted to do. The view from the porch was beautiful. Watching the sunset over the bay was a great way to end the day!!

This was a perfect to place to hang out for a few days. The view of the water, walking distance to most things and being so close to the locals gave us a true feel of the island. Delightful!

Excellent place to stay
The property was just as pictured with a large balcony directly overlooking Lake Superior! It was the perfect place to stay for apple fest and would highly encourage others to stay there!

The condo was roomy and comfortable. The balcony had excellent views of the lake and sunsets. The coffee shop downstairs was great for morning coffee and to go sandwiches. The condo is situated right in downtown lapointe near the few open restaurants and bars the week after Apple Fest in Bayfield.
The only drawback is the convenient location of the condo also generates lots of noise in the early morning hours from nearby trucking and Marina operations.

Great place to stay
The owners were wonderful even reaching out during our stay to see how we were doing and if we had questions. The condo was very clean, comfortable and in a great location with views of Lake Superior. We traveled by motorcycle and when we arrived were amazed that so many places were walking distance for us - food, beverages and entertainment. We would highly recommend.

Nice place, easy location on Madeline Island. Well-equipped kitchen, family areas, etc. Island can be a bit sleepy - but easy to get back and forth to Bayfield on the ferry 1 block away.

Perfect Location
Our group loved the convenient location of this property for enjoying all that the island has to offer. You're just 2 blocks from the ferry and right next to the vast majority of businesses (restaurants, stores, bars, etc) in La Pointe. The unit itself was clean and comfortable and our host Colleen was very communicative and helpful.

Welcoming place in a convenient location
We were in town for a wedding. Having food, groceries, and shops so centrally located was very convenient. Colleen and Tom were great communicators and the check in and check out process was seamless. Will definitely look to stay here again!

Happy space in Madeline Island
This is a great space if you are looking for a clean and central space to the town. Right above a coffee shop and Moped rental made access so convenient. The views were great and you could watch the events from a second story balcony.

Madeline Island in the winter
The property was in good shape, and in a prime location. But communication around what would be open/closed was poor....we arrived Friday night to a closed island, even though Google maps said 6 food places would be open. The welcome email said we were above Cafe Seiche, where they have great take out....but it was closed for the season. Wifi is from the Cafe too. Tv/dish service did not work, microwave was broken, and when its windy, the rooms and windows are very loud. Grocery store and coffee place have short hours. If we were here for more than the parks and the coast/beaches....we would have been really disappointed. A few stores were open on Saturday, but most said they were going out of business, even though they said this summer was the busiest they've seen. They need a winter rate for this property...

The perfect location for our stay on Madeline Island.
We enjoyed our off-season stay on Madeline Island. Our condo was comfortable and centrally located. I would suggest keeping the ferry in mind when deciding to stay on the island. The cost of going back and forth to the mainland and working around the ferry schedule did limit us to some extent. That being said, there is so much to do on the island that staying put was an absolute pleasure.
