My mother’s funeral brought us back to Utah. We were thankful to find a place that was so close to family that had accommodations we needed for such a reasonable price. Thank you.

Property was clean, quiet, within walking distance to restaurants, and short drive to ski resorts. Great stay for me and my dogs.

I rented this place for my brother who was visiting because of the proximity to my house, and I am so glad I found this little gem. It was clean and comfortable and Marcel was amazing to work with. I am certain we will rent this place for visitors in the future.

My wife and I recently stayed here to attend a family wedding. It was the perfect location. Lots of shops, food, and highways right outside. I have read all the past reviews and everything that was previously mentioned, has been corrected, as we didn't have any issues or problems during our 3 night/4 day stay. The toilet didn't flush when we first got there, but I took the lid off and flushed it manually. Then it worked fine rest of our trip. A neighbor was smoking pot, which seeped into our room, but that was the only unpleasant item. The bed was not very comfortable, but we were gone most of the days we were there and so exhausted when we returned, that it didn't really bother us. Nevertheless, we will still give this a 5 star rating! We LOVED the vintage/retro touches! The unit was clean, quaint and homey. The owner lives nearby and was very accommodating. We had some simple small needs (extra toilet paper) and he was there in minutes. The owner did mention he plans on gutting and renovating the unit, so will be exciting to see all the new changes! We will definitely be back! Thank you for hosting us, Marcel! I still really want that sink!! :-)

Excelent place for our family trip

Checking in process was a little hard but the host fixed it right away. Otherwise great stay and vrbo location, close to the call and food. only complaint is that the bed was not as soft as regular hotels.

The place was clean but the toilet drove us crazy. It only flushed right about 50% of the time. The owner said it was due to water pressure problems. When we arrived the bathtub was clogged so when we took a shower we had water up to our ankles. The owner did come by and was able to fix that. Mattresses quite uncomfortable

Marcel is a great host. Place is great and the location is wonderful. Quiet neighborhood yet close to lots of amenities. If you need to stay near Salt Lake City I would recommend it!

Check in information wasn't provided, I had to ask several times for check in information and waited outside for a half an hour after check in time before someone let us in and texted the information. Creaky bed, dilapidated old house that once was nice, now is a listless short term rental.

Marcel was unfailingly friendly, helpful and responsive. Woke up one morning after heavy overnight snow and the driveway was shoveled clean. The cottage was clean, well appointed and perfect for a father son ski week. Only small drawback was no dishwasher but the high end washer/dryer made up for it!

The only thing that was a bit of an annoyance was having a communal laundry room visible from the kitchen and I never could time it right to get my own laundry done. This VRBO was just what I needed for a 10 day stint before I moved out of state for work. Loved that it was pet-friendly and very home-y! Would recommend.

This was a great place to stay for a visit to the Salt Lake area. I had to work while I was here and the wife connection was solid. Everything was clean, the beds were comfy, and the owner was really helpful and easy to communicate with. Overall it was a great experience.
