Tommy is a great host and the music box did not disappoint. We lived the themed rooms, tiki bar and pool. The beach was also convenient with the resort club house and pool. We had great weather and hope to stay again.

The Music Box is a wonderful house and location. If you are looking for a low-key family getaway, I could not recommend this house and Tommy any higher. The rental is packed full of music and musically-themed items. We had so much fun locating everything in each room, and Tommy was such a gracious host. He was extremely patient and quick to respond to all of our questions. We could not have asked for more of the house or the host. We had one small trip snag due to the cleaning service not cleaning the oven and the outside sink. We notified Tommy, and he quickly contacted the cleaning service and the maintenance company. We had a few other issues with the cleaning service, and we made Tommy aware, and he was going to speak to them about the problems. Our group consisted of 6 adults, one teenager, two children, and one infant. We had plenty of sleeping options to accommodate everyone, and we could fit a pack-n-play in one of the Queen rooms. The kitchen is truly stocked. I have stayed in other rentals claiming they have a fully stocked kitchen, but this one is really fully stocked. Everything from spices to storage containers, bakeware, pots, and pans are available. Our biggest problem was where to put all the stuff we brought that we really didn’t need to bring. The pool was a godsend to occupy the older kids while the younger ones were napping. We also enjoyed cooking out on the grill and the Tiki bar. We loved sitting out on the deck and listening to the sound of the ocean, and the view of the sunrise from the Owls Nest was breathtaking. I would encourage anyone staying in Ocean Isle to review the beach policy and what is allowed on the beach for cover. We found out that tents or canopies with more than one pole and two sandbags were not allowed; however, we found two Shibumi Shade canopies which are (at this time) allowed to use during our stay. Tommy was also a great help to us in getting this question and issue resolved. All in all, our stay at The Music Box was the family vacation we had been dreaming about for two years. It was fun, relaxing, and thoroughly enjoyable. I highly recommend this rental and its host Tommy.

The Music Box was a fantastic house with tons of character and super convenient location to the beach. It was perfect for our family of kids, teens, and grandparents. The kitchen was the most well-stocked of any rental we’ve stayed at, the appliances were top notch, and the game room a hit with the kids. The owners thought of everything to make our stay welcoming and comfortable. We hope to return next summer!

We absolutely loved the Music Box beach house. Perfect location, fun and unique decor for a family full of music lovers. Host was very friendly and responsive. Definitely would recommend!

It was a short distance to beach access and to the local the playground, arcade, ice cream shop, and other activities. The house was clean and decor was super cute. My little ones enjoyed pointing out the music themed touches through out the house. The pool was the star of the show. We would definitely stay here again!

My family waited patiently 20 months for this trip, and the Music Box did not disappoint. Even with the run on gas a great time was had. Tommy is a terrific host and would highly recommend this property for your OIB vacation.

What a wonderful relaxing few days we spent at The Music Box! The kitchen is fully stocked for any cooking you decide to do. The game room was lots of fun each night and we enjoyed having our own spaces to relax. Communication with the owner was fantastic. Quick responses always! Can’t wait to go back!

What a great house! We had a long weekend golf trip planned with old friends. The house easily accommodated our group and we were very happy with the amenities. The Sonos speakers were also great. Hope to come back next spring!!

Our group of "young at heart" senior citizens had a wonderful time at A Music Box in mid-April, 2021! Tommy is a very gracious and accommodating host and was always available to answer any question or address any concern we might have had. The house was filled with music memorabilia and an equally awesome whole house sound system which we used almost constantly. There's also a great blue tooth speaker to use at the tiki bar at poolside. We found ourselves either listening to music or reminiscing about our common and/or varied live musical experiences. The house is laid out so well for gathering in the kitchen/living room, game room with so many games and options, multiple decks (all with exceptionally nice furniture) or around the largest pool we have had so far at an Ocean Isle Beach rental property. We loved the musical theme of each bedroom and the comfortable beds. This kitchen was so well equipped with newer utensils and cookware, not the old, worn out stuff that's so common in rental properties. I could go on and on but the best thing I can say is that everyone was sad to leave and said they want to return to "A Music Box" next time.

Loved the private pool, and owls nest, owner very easy to reach, helped resolve any questions we had, enjoyed our time to reconnect with family.

Loved staying here. The house was great. Check in was easy, it was very clean. Loved the location and having the beach club house just down the street. The pool was nice and very clean and the tiki bar was a great place to mix up a drink. The view from the top deck was amazing. Will book this again!

With all its porches and decks and comfy seating and beds, this house would be amazing even without all the cool stuff in it, but there is so much cool stuff! Music, music everywhere, that you can actually play; games from Monopoly to working arcade machine; unique vintage finds that have clearly been lovingly collected. The owners obviously want their guests to be comfortable, providing extra blankets and pillows, a well-stocked kitchen, and a pristine pool area. Easy walk to beach, less than five min. Sunrise and sunset in 360 views from the top deck. The owner was friendly and responsive and always willing to accommodate our requests. We can’t wait to come back!

We're been renting houses in Ocean Isle for 20 years and this was definitely one of the best! Loved the pool and outside bar area! Nicely decorated and clean. Can't wait to book this property again!

Great week of activity and relaxation despite the pandemic around the country. The house is perfect for teenagers whether hanging at the pool, playing various games or going to the beach.
