Lovely condo, very clean, beautiful beach views and location. Walk out of building to pool and beach. Owner provided great beach supplies, all that we could need. We spent week and enjoyed every moment. The washer and dryer provided in the unit was a great convenience. Stores and restaurants very convenient to condo. Being able to see the ocean from the balcony and having a pool were two of our must-haves and this location didn’t disappoint. The views were amazing! We even saw dolphins playing in the waves! The condo had a fully functional kitchen, fully stocked with linens and towels, beds were comfortable and condo was spacious. Also has boogie board for ocean, we bought and left two tennis rackets (courts are behind Publix’s) and has beach chairs. Overall we had an amazing time and definitely want to come back! Thank you for sharing your beautiful condo Cathy. We will be back next year for sure. Bob

Beautiful place in a great area right on the beach. Perfect location directly facing the water. We had incredible views from the living room and bedroom. Rooms were well furnished with everything anyone might need. Just like home. Everything was nice and clean, very comfortable beds, and secure garage parking. We enjoyed having comfortable beach chairs, umbrellas, towels and other beach items available, We’ve already booked again for next year! We love the Sand Dollar and love the host of this unit. She is very sweet and will go above and beyond to help you enjoy your stay, Highly recommend this unit.

The Condo is gorgeous everything about it was love the fact it was on The Beach & an en-suite Bathroom in the Master Bedroom The Decor is Beautiful. We loved the kitchen equipment as my family loves home cooking. The pool is one of the best out there. It's in the sun most of the day due to the clever layout of the builder. Our best moments were had this year at Sand Dollar 303. Cathy was a great host. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us. We Love the Condo will stay again.

Our family had a wonderful week in Daytona Beach Shores. The condo unit was absolutely amazing. The views were spectacular. Can't wait for the updates to be finished. It will be THE PLACE TO STAY! The unit, was spotless and decorated so nice. The kitchen was furnished very well with everything needed to cook a nice meal. The unit had plenty of beach towels, chairs, even boogie boards for the kids available for us to use. Check in was easy and the owner also ensured we had everything we needed for a great stay. We look forward to returning and will definitely stay here again! Especially after the remodel is finished. They say it will be finished this Labor Day. May have to come back in the fall!

When we arrived at the condo, the first thing you naturally do at the beach is go tot he patio and open the door to look at the ocean. But nope, the patio door was locked, then the bedroom patio door was locked. Their is a paper on the kitchen counter saying" If you try to go out on the patio, it's a felony" and you will be arrested. Called the owner and letting her know that this was unacceptable; her response was "let me see what I can do?" Really?? Thankfully after over an hour and a half wait another condo owner set-us up in her condo. the view was not a direct ocean view but partial and she was so very kind and it had both ocean and river views. I would never rent from Cathy again. Although the second condo has some noise of the construction workers its not a deal breaker. I'm ill and can't access the beach and pool so 90% of my stay has to be on the balcony.

The property owner was very exceptional and accommodating when balcony space on first rental was not finished by our arrival. Cathy worked to ensure we were moved to another unit with a lovely balcony space. The property itself is being repaired from hurricane damage but a lot of progress was made just in the week we were there. Very nice unit, very nice owner, and would highly recommend.

The condo is undergoing extreme renovations due to hurricane damage. Many of the condos are not available for use at this time. Most of the parking lot is not available as worker are removing damaged concrete on each floor balcony. HOWEVER, both the Owner (Cathy) and the Receptionist (Beth) provided excellent and compassionate care to us and our family. Every issue was addressed and remedied as well as possible. Every issue regarding the renovations was handled with grace and kindness.
When the renovations are finished, the Sand Dollar will be a wonderful place to enjoy a "Vacation in Paradise."

Had a nice week long stay with my husband & two teens. It fit our family of 4 well, has everything you need even chairs, sand toys, small styrofoam cooler & boogie boards for beach. The building itself is dated but being right on the water is what matters. No beach access from back due to damage to stairs, must walk out front to main beach access which is about 5 min walk, will be nice when that gets addressed. Lots of construction taking place throughout Daytona and close by from past hurricane damage. Cathy was very involved with staying in communication before during & after stay, she is a terrific host.

Overall, it was the perfect vacation, and the perfect spot to sit on the lanai having coffee in the am, and a quiet place lfor a drink in the pm. The room was clean, and nicely furnished. All in all it was a very quiet and nice vacation.

We had a great time staying at The Sand Dollar #303. Cathy was great communicating the whole time. The view from the balcony was awesome. The location is perfect. Grocery store a half-mile away. Great restaurants, stores & other activities minutes away as well. The beach is great too! We’ll definitely be back.

We enjoyed our stay as expected
We had stayed in another unit at Sand Dollar in years past an already knew the location was great. Cathy stayed in touch with us and was available to us the entire stay. The unit was as advertised, clean and comfortable. The view of Daytona Beach is difficult to match and the floor we were on was just right. The only thing I mentioned to Cathy when we left was the gas grill not working and the lid being loose. This is not in her direct control since it is a community grill, but she mentioned that a new one was on order. It's a non-issue unless you plan on grilling out during your stay, but it could very well be replaced by the time you get there. Overall, the stay was great! 5 stars.

Great Panoramic View Located on The 3rd Floor
We highly recommend this condo right on the beach!
The best part of our stay was the views we got from our balcony, living room and master bedroom. Beautiful sunrises, listening to the waves from our balcony morning, noon and night was so relaxing. One of the highlights, was the view of several stormy nights, watching the lightening shows over the ocean.
Nicely decorated, with plenty of seating in the kitchen, living room and balcony, with a view of the jacuzzi, pool and beach.
1. Cathy, the owner was very accommodating. She even went out and bought an electric tea pot, since I am a tea drinker.
2. Very comfy king beds in both rooms. However, the master bedroom bed had risers, so for a 5' person, it was a challenge to get in and out of bed. LOL
3. Kitchen was well stocked as advertised.
4. Plenty of lounge & beach chairs & towels. Cathy even had games, puzzle and beach toys for children.
5. We were pleased that the parking garage was secured with a remote control entry.
6. The subdue beach was fairly quiet at times, not a spring break type atmosphere.

Relaxing
This property had a great balcony with a perfect view of the beach. The people were friendly and the owner was very responsive. The kitchen was well stocked. The bed was very comfortable.

Nice small condo
Loved that the condo complex is small. Only 12 floors with 5 rooms per floor. So it is not too crowded. Great location - grocery store very close and restaurants not too far. Loved ability to park in garage and a place to store the bikes.

Nice clean place. Dishwasher didn’t work though...
Pleased with everything during our stay except the dishwasher didn’t work. Owner messaged me the day of check in and said it didn’t work due to a storm they had the previous day and was going to get a replacement/serviced. Never heard anything about it the rest of the week. So had to hand wash dishes the whole week. Which wasn’t fun doing on vacation.
