You can tell that Zendarene (Zen) takes great pride of her home. She lives on site but you don’t see or hear from her unless needed. The house was clean. Plenty of parking inside AND outside the gate. Every room has its own bathroom and access outside. Bathrooms included towels AND beach towels, blow dryer. The upstairs loft has beautiful views and nice breezes. Kitchen was stocked with pots/pans, dishes, cups, etc. There was a free for all cupboard with seasonings and coffee pot filters. There is also a dish washer. Plenty of chairs to sit outside, hydro pool was refreshing. Air conditioning: in every room! Check-in was easy. Make sure you follow the instructions as far as getting there. Check-out was a breeze. Take trash out and empty the fridge. Additional items: Just ask. We needed an extra blanket and she got it to us right away! Zen, thank you for having us. I’m so happy to have met you. Your home is lovely and we’ll be back again.

Perfect location and beautiful house in St. Croix. Zen was a wonderful host and full of great knowledge of the local area. She helped us tremendously, I would recommend to anyone.

The property is close to the airport and easy to find. As we pulled up it was everything we expected and more. The rooms were spacious and all had their own full bathrooms. Kitchen, dining and living room were more than accommodating for all of us. As for the upstairs master suite it's almost like staying at a whole other villa. Full bath, kitchenet and private balcony with an awesome view! All rooms also have TVs with Roku. Zen welcomed us with awesome island hospitality!

The house itself was great. It had all the amenities expressed in the listing. The location was hard to find by some of the transportation drivers. The address is not given to you, she gives you the streets to turn on and the neighborhood. We had to use our Waze to feel comfortable. The hot water heater did not heat up enough water for 3 people to take a shower at the same time. We had to take showers one or two at time. None of us were able to enjoy the bathtubs, then after 3 people take showers you had to wait a couple of hours forthe water to reheat, which made using the pool. Because we couldn't shower right away, we had to boil water in order to wash the chlorine off. The owner stays on the property and frequently showed up to use the storage, check the flowers, things of that sort. She was very nice but it is not private at all.

Exceeded expectations. Has, hard to find, four bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. i stayed in the retreat room upstairs, peaceful, with view. Good for us introverts. Beautiful property. Walking distance to beach. Also, the owner is close but not too close which would not matter since she is a very nice person.

Good connunication with property owner when needed something.

The house and property was wonderful. Zen was on top of all our questions as she lives on back of property and shared her garden with us. There were 2 large beach towels in each room, very clean. AC. Really our only minor complaint was only 2 kitchen towels. Its a beautiful, very large home!

Zen is a gracious host to this amazing vrbo! This house is wonderful with spacious rooms and amenities that allow people congregate In shared spaces or act autonomously in their own areas. A huge kitchen allows for dining in and hosting lots of guests. 100 percent would stay here again, and I would recommend to any and all! Beautiful yard!!! Zen is the best!

Zen was very pleasant and helpful throughout our entire stay. The property was very large and beautiful. The hydropool was awesome.

From the moment of booking, this was the best experience I have had on any rental vacation site. We stayed at a resort the last time we were in St. Croix and had a much better time here. The house is INCREDIBLE. All ensuite baths for the bedrooms. Super secure and everything is about 5-10 min away! There was 6 of us and we could not have felt more welcomed, relaxed and at home with our host Zen. She is wonderful!

We had lots of space to spread out. The upper level had beautiful views & was serene. Plenty of dishes & silverware. Good pots & pans. Zen is a very sweet lady. Iguanas all over the property, so great. Close to beach & downtown. Short drive. Enjoyable stay. We couldn’t figure out the hot tub, but it didn’t matter the beaches are incredible.

The pictures online does not do this home justice. It is absolutely gorgeous and we will definitely choose this location again when available for our stays. The setup works for families or couples. I must say this property is much more beautiful in person, You can also see the ocean from the house. The ocean breeze is amazing. This home is very spacious , TV’s in every bedroom even the kitchen, AC throughout entire home and each bedroom has its own spacious bathroom. Also The yard is filled with local fruit trees. Property owner Zen (a darling/very friendly) stays on property which was very convenient, she was able to address any issues on a timely manner. This Home is close to the beach however a rental car is highly recommended. My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Yellowbird and will definitely use this property again in the future.

Zen is a wonderful host. We loved the house and location. Only 7 minutes to dive shop. The house was very clean and inviting. Plenty of room for 6 women. Worked out great with each room having it’s own bathroom. Plus a 5th bathroom in the hall. Beautiful views of the ocean.

From the beginning, Zen was great and hospitable. She provided us the necessary information in order to have a great trip during Covid. In addition, on the day of I had not went thru with the second half of the payment and she sent me a friendly reminder to take care of it prior and assisted me with the process. When we arrived she had the place sparkling clean and offered great advice on what to do on the island. She was routinely available for any and all questions while also ensuring things were sanitized and prepared for our stay. I will be recommending for my friends and family state side.

First of all, the pictures online do not do the property justice. The home is beautiful, spacious, very clean, and comfortable. We had four adults and one child (very child-friendly home), sometimes 5 adults. There was more than enough room for us all, even on rainy days. The wrap around porch is a wonderful way to be able to be outside when the weather is not cooperating. The pool is the perfect size for the house. It is close enough to drive quickly to beaches, stores, and town - you can't really walk it though. The owner is more than helpful and hospitable - just downright a wonderful person. She will do everything she can to be sure you have the best vacation. When my family travels back to St. Croix, we will always stay at Yellowbird!!! Thank you, Ms. Z, for a wonderful vacation experience!!

If you are looking for a typical resort type vacation where the vibe is very touristy, every room is this same and common areas are crowded, this is not the place for you. if you are looking for a fantastic host, beautiful architecture and as much privacy as desired , this is the place! We cannot express how much we LOVED Yellowbird. Each room was unique and there were so many extra touches. The property was amazing and we all learned something about the native plants. There were so many outside private areas to escape to. Each bedroom had a stunning bathroom and each bedroom had a door outside leading to several decks and the pool area. The host Zen was absolutely amazing. She had so much knowledge of the property and all the plants and where to eat and swim. Zen was available 24/7~ we felt very secure on her property. We feel it was an honor to stay at Yellowbird and it was a vacation we will treasure and never forget.

Our group of seven had a lovely time here, with plenty of room to keep to ourselves as well as have big group meals and gatherings. Zen is a remarkable host, highly attentive and full of great stories and insights about the property and the island. We enjoyed fresh avocados, coconuts, and star fruit right off the trees, as well as iguana-watching while lazing in the pool. The pool is excellent; you can get some exercise as well as lounge about with a little heat and bubbles. The property is within just a few minutes of lots of restaurants and amazing beaches. The roads are a bit rough, so a Jeep is very useful. Overall, we had a relaxing experience that was reflective of the best the Caribbean has to offer. Can’t recommend this home and owner highly enough!

Excellent Host and a Magnificent property, you couldn't ask for anything more. The family was truly pleased and enjoyed the entire stay. From the moment we selected it and until we left, we knew this property was the perfect home away from home. The home was beautiful, comfortable, and inviting. We spent so many memorable family moments around the dining room table. Zendarene Parker was phenomenal, she really cares about her guest. Simply, she is just like family. Our group of three couples enjoyed this private, fenced property. It was nice to have a private bathroom for each of the bedrooms. Very close to shopping, diving and dive shops, and Armstrong's Ice Cream! Zen, the owner, met us on arrival and gave us a quick tour of the property and answered any questions we had. The group agrees that we would stay there again in the future. Thanks!

The house was very clean. The pictures were a true representation of the home. Located in a quiet neighborhood. Close to stores, beaches and restaurants. Zen tried very hard to accommodate us even when we came in early. Enjoy this 4 bedroom home with family and friends. We’ve stay at many rentals over the past 20 years and this one ranks among the best.

Zen was fantastic. Easy to communicate with (before, during, and after our stay), generous in her accommodations, and fun to talk with! It was nice having her stay on the grounds (though she kept her distance) when we had random questions for her. The house was beautifully cared for and kitchen was great! We stayed with 8 people covering 3 generations and everyone loved the house. The 8 and 9yo kids LOVED the hydropool, spending hours each day in it while the adults lounged on the deck! The convenient location was just down the street from several grocery stores, and a 5 minute drive to amazing restaurants (Louie & Nacho's, Smokes BBQ, Turtle Deli, Lost Dog Pub) and fantastic beaches (Rainbow Beach is our favorite)!! We went horseback riding with Cruzan Cowgirls - which left from a place just down from Rainbow Beach too. EVERYTHING WAS SO CLOSE! It was great not having to drive far to get to anything! Even the airport was only about 10 minutes away, and Christiansted was an easy 25 minute drive too. We would HIGHLY recommend staying at Yellow Bird House! Zen provided towels, sheets, shampoo, cooking utensils, tabelware, etc. The AC worked well at night, but the house had a great breeze moving through always too. The only thing that could maybe be improved on for future guests would be getting to the house initially. We flew in in the dark, so finding our way out to the residential neighborhood was almost impossible to non-locals. Our rental cars ended up having a problem, so we were provided a taxi and the driver knew how to get us there - otherwise we would have been calling Zen in a panic (though she would have handled it well). Googling the address would have gotten you close, just on the opposite side of the property from the driveway. Thanks so much Zen!! We can't wait to come back!!

Me and 6 of my friends had an amazing trip to St Croix and had to opportunity to stay at Yellow Bird. The property is really nice, the pictures don’t do it justice. Each room has it’s only bathroom and there’s one extra. The house is spacious and there was pleasure of room to spread out. Rainbow beach is about a 10 minute ride and there are stores close by. Zen was awesome and very attentive. Her thoughtfulness in having food ready for us upon arrival was perfect and definitely appreciated. There were plenty of beach towels, bath towels and kitchen supplies. If you’re planning to stay in St Croix, I definitely recommend yellow bird. Thanks Zen!

What a great time we had celebrating my 50th birthday and the New Year at Zen's YellowBird. Zen was a wonderful host and helped us with our every whim. Everything we needed was there and anything that came up we spoke to Zen about and she made everything perfect. It was great having a police officer on premises. We couldn't feel safer. When we wanted someone to cook for us she arranged for "Preacher Man" to cook us a wonderful meal. I could not have asked for a more responsive host and a better place to stay. Your house was well stocked with everything we needed & was easy to feel comfortable. Spacious rooms were adorned with quality linens covering large comfortable beds. Beautiful view from all four bedrooms which had adjoining bathrooms plus another full bathroom. Full dining room table plus numerous tables outside & grills on the grounds. Hope to visit again soon.

Our stay at Yellowbird was AMAZING!! Zendarene was the perfect hostess! Our large, rowdy group had all the comforts of home and a quick trip to downtown Fredricksted! The property is large and safe, the pool was a perfect end to a hot day on the beach, the kitchen is well stocked and the bedrooms are large and comfy! Highly recommend and we will return!!
