Questo cottage appena ristrutturato cattura l'essenza della vita isolana con le sue grandi querce, la tranquilla strada alberata e la breve distanza dalla spiaggia. Sentirai la brezza dell'oceano e sarai a pochi passi dai famosi ristoranti dell'isola Crab Trap e Crab Daddys. Sia East Beach che il Village sono raggiungibili a piedi e il noleggio di biciclette è a solo un isolato di distanza!
Questo grazioso cottage è stato appena ristrutturato e ridecorato e dispone di una grande sala grande con soffitti in assi e listelli con travi a vista e nuovi pavimenti in legno. Il mantello e il camino progettati e realizzati su misura presentano il nostro nuovo televisore a schermo piatto da 50 pollici. L'arredamento è squisito e include molti tesori unici nel loro genere e opere d'arte originali in tutto.
La cucina abitabile ha elettrodomestici nuovissimi con splendidi ripiani in granito. Amerai la cappa progettata su misura e i nuovi elettrodomestici esclusivi. La cucina dispone anche di un grande tavolo da pranzo con 8 posti a sedere, tra cui posti a sedere su misura per banchetti.
Ci sono tre camere da letto tutte splendidamente decorate e dotate di pavimenti in legno. La camera da letto principale ha un bagno privato con doccia piastrellata, pavimenti in travertino e ripiani in granito. L'arredamento di questa camera da letto include un letto king size con testiera su misura e bellissimi comodini a specchio.
La nostra camera per gli ospiti dispone di due letti queen size con testate in alghe. Questa camera presenta pareti di assi e listelli del cottage originale. Splendidi letti a tema nautico e opere d'arte originali completano questa fantastica camera per gli ospiti che si trova dall'altra parte della sala dal secondo bagno.
Chiamiamo la terza camera da letto la nostra "camera a castello". Si trova vicino alla cucina e alla grande sala ea breve distanza dal bagno della sala comune. Questa stanza è stata costruita su misura da un vero artigiano. Presenta soffitti e pareti in assi e listelli per entrambe le cuccette. Le luci notturne integrate sono luci di navigazione nautiche. Ci sono così tanti dettagli su misura in questa stanza che rimarrai stupito dal suo vero fascino.
Il secondo bagno ha anche bellissimi pavimenti in travertino levigato e ripiani in granito. Questo bagno ha una meravigliosa combinazione vasca / doccia appena rifinita.
Nella lavanderia, situata accanto alla cucina, troverete una lavatrice e asciugatrice di dimensioni standard.
Abbiamo anche aggiunto una doccia esterna e uno spogliatoio, completi di acqua calda e fredda. Amerai il design e la praticità di questa fantastica nuova funzionalità.

We had a great stay for our family vacation (even with tropical storm Debby)! This house is exactly as described. Great space and perfect location within walking distance to the beach, great restaurants, and even the pier to shop, dine, or grab some sweets or ice cream. Patti was an amazing host! We will definitely be back to stay here again!

I can't do justice with words when describing how lovely this cottage is, and how perfect it was for our family. Not only is it immaculate, but it's literally steps from the beach. It's obvious that the owners of this property take a great deal of pride in this home, as I would too! The layout of the interior is awesome. My family has been visiting SSI every summer for 20+ years. We usually stay on the beach but this time we needed a pet friendly rental, and those are hard to find on the beach. This cottage was by far the cleanest we've ever stayed in (I'm a clean freak ... AKA OCD). We loved the open living area that included the kitchen space. The backyard is perfect if you have a pet, and it's so nice to relax and cook out. The shower and changing area in the back is amazing as well! No one could go wrong with this rental as long as it's the right size for your group. It was perfect for us, and we had 5 adults and one baby. But it's perfect for 6 adults. The only advice I can give is to be sure you only have 3 cars that you need to park. The homes on the street stick to the policy of number of cars allowed at each home. Often I will pay attention to number of cars allowed but I know some people are like me and might overlook a detail like that. We've already decided that we hope we can get this cottage again for our 2025 trip. I want to say thank you to the owners of this property because it truly was a "home away from home" and could not have been better!

This cottage is a great place to stay while in St. Simons. You can’t beat that it’s so close to the beach and village as well as the cottage itself is so beautiful and relaxing!

Wonderful host, always prompt responses from her. Very well appointed cottage. Ample seating for dining & gathering. Nice to have starter products for our weekly stay. The beach wagon is an added bonus for shuttling chairs, umbrella & coolers. Highly recommend this cottage!

When we decided to return to SSI, we couldn’t find any rental that was more attractive or better located than this one. We were delighted to stay there again. Patti is a responsive and responsible host. The house is clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The only things missing are beach towels and a beach umbrella, which would make it perfect. Be aware that the residents/owners in the neighborhood seem to be obsessed with leaf blowing, and the relentless racket starting at 8 a.m. can ruin a quiet morning or afternoon on the back patio.

I have lost count but think this was our sixth stay in this home. Clean, beautifully decorated, close to beach and village and very comfortable. We always rent a golf cart when we stay here and rarely need our car since the home is conveniently located near everything we need. Also, there is a nice fenced back yard with outdoor shower and firepit.

The house is comfortable and in good condition, having been recently remodeled. The location is good, being a block and a half from the beach and about a mile from the village. The backyard has a new patio. The owner is very courteous and friendly. This is the third time we’ve stayed in the house. I obviously would recommend it.

The beautiful trees all over the island left us speechless. We also enjoyed Jekyll island, Cumberland island, Amelia island and savannah. Great location to get to many attractions. The king bed in this house is the most comfortable bed in any vacation home I’ve ever slept on. Short walk to beach. Loved it!!!!!

We’ve stayed here many times. The owner is very responsive. Everything is very clean. The walk to the beach is very easy even with young children.

The pictures don't really do this place justice. It's much bigger than the pictures show. The kitchen is fully stocked with a great supply of cooking utensils as well as spices etc. Fenced in backyard is great for pets and only a little more than a block from the beach the beach.

My wife and I also felt like the house is actually larger and more spacious than the pictures show--it was very easy for us to have plenty of space in the house! The reviews are accurate--it's an extremely short walk to the beach, and within walking distance to many restaurants, and only a short drive to the lighthouse and pier. We didn't need much, but Patti was very responsive to any messages we sent. We hope to come back and stay again!

Loved this property. Cleanest house I have rented so far. Location is 2 blocks from the beach, walking distance to the Village. Kitchen is well stocked. Fenced in backyard is great for pets. Definitely stay here again.

Everything about the house was great. The house was immaculate (and I am super picky). The beds were comfortable. The location was perfect. Just a couple of blocks to the beach and a couple of minutes to our favorite restaurants. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. Huge oak trees everywhere. Everything I needed or could have thought to need was in the house. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need. We did borrow a few chairs and the wagon everyday. The backyard was perfect for our fur baby. Patti is a superb hostess. We love St. Simmons and will return to this house again!
