Ogni momento è un buon momento per visitare Hickory Nut Lodge. La casa stessa è riccamente arredata con una cucina completamente attrezzata con una stufa a gas e un tavolo da pranzo al livello principale insieme a due camere matrimoniali, ognuna con un letto matrimoniale e bagno privato. Inoltre vi è una zona giorno al piano principale completa di un televisore a schermo piatto. È possibile accedere al livello principale da un garage chiuso per due auto. Il secondo livello della casa ha una grande camera da letto matrimoniale con cabina doccia e vasca da giardino con una spaziosa cabina armadio. All'esterno della camera da letto principale c'è una camera familiare con camino a gas, divano componibile e un altro televisore a schermo piatto in modo che tu e i tuoi ospiti siate in grado di godere di due aree di visualizzazione separate e molto confortevoli. Stai portando qualche bambino in più? Il secondo livello ha anche una propria camera per bambini con un set di due letti singoli. Ameranno avere la propria area privata. Infine, il terzo livello ha una grande sala giochi completa di un tavolo da air hockey, un tavolo da biliardino molto solido e robusto e un tavolo da poker professionale molto bello. Durante il gioco ti verrà offerto un altro caminetto a gas per mantenere sia il calore che l'umore della montagna. Naturalmente tu e i tuoi ospiti vorrete trascorrere del tempo all'aperto sui ponti che sono completamente attrezzati con mobili da giardino e una grande griglia a gas. Quindi metti il tappo sulla tua bottiglia di vino preferita e goditi la bella vita qui tra le montagne del lago Lure. Griglia i tuoi cibi preferiti e goditi l'incredibile vista sulle montagne in fondo alla strada da tutto ciò che Lake Lure ha da offrire. I recommend this place 100%, all utensils in the kitchen you need for cooking Is there, clean restrooms, great playroom area, comfortable house with plenty of space.

The views of the valley and Chimney Rock are beautiful.

Fantastic home! There are 3 floors, with relaxing areas on each floor. Plenty of room for everyone. The game room on the lowest level made evenings very enjoyable, whether playing cards or foosball. The view is absolutely breathtaking from the two upper floors and it's so quiet outside. When we return to Lake Lure, we will check a date so we stay at the Hickory Nut Lodge.

We spent two weeks at Hickory Nut Lodge and we can't say enough about how Amazing this house is! Everything was Perfect! It was very clean, comfortable, great location and a view that is unmatched! Thank you so much for sharing your little slice of Heaven with us! It was really hard to leave.

This place was ideal. Each couple, person had his own bedroom with bath. That was primary. The location was great, close to everything. the only thing I would have liked would be able to do some walking outside. We had a great time.

Our family (Asheville, Seattle & Atlanta) had a wonderful stay at Hickory Nut Gap Lodge! The view "grabbed" us as we walked in & the beautiful 3-story house had everything we could possible need, including a fun game room on the bottom level. We totally enjoyed our whole family as we cooked & played, & enjoyed the area, as we do annually, treasuring our time together! Thank you! Thank you!

Would definitely stay again. Wow what a view! Downside— too many detailed chores required upon departure when everyone is scrambling to get out at 10am or be charged.

Held a short family get together. We rented 3 places between the family members and chose Hickory Nut as the main get together place in the evenings. Worked out beautifully. Only downside: finding pots and pans, etc., in the kitchen’s lower dark corner cabinets. We really loved the house and it’s convenient location!

I can’t say enough good things about this property. The view is exceptional, the house feels like a home and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to comfortably cook meals if you want to stay in. Plenty of space for a family gathering! We opened the front door and there was a collective gasp. We have stayed in MANY mountain houses and have never had such a view. The house made visiting easier….gates and fun times on the lower level and the older set upstairs. We had a week’s stay there and it was wonderful.

Most beautiful view of the mountains from the huge windows all across the back of the cabin! Comfortable beds, nice thick towels and very clean! The kids enjoyed the lower level playing all the games in the lower level game room. Plenty of areas to hike and a must is Chimney Rock and visiting the shops of the quaint little town. The cabin provided plenty of space for each to enjoy time alone or be together as a family to have fun times! This cabin was the absolute best! It will not disappoint!

This was our second stay at this beautiful property. I brought my father and mother up for my dad’s 86th birthday! The view did not disappoint with the beautiful fall foliage. It was great for my parents because they were able to enjoy everything on one level. My husband and I used the downstairs bedroom. It was such a wonderful weekend. One of my favorite places to stay for sure!

So close to everything but a world away- this beautiful home was so comfortable and was everything we wanted; Gorgeous views with a level, concrete driveway for motorcycles. Easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway and other beautiful mountain roads. Minutes from Chimney Rock, and Biltmore but away from highways. Well stocked kitchen, toasty fireplace and plenty of big tvs!! Loved it!

This place is absolutely perfect. The view, kitchen accessories, game room and everything about it. Super clean and beautifully well kept. The daily hummingbird show was a plus along with the cardinals and yellow finches. Spent our 41 anniversary and it couldn't have been any better.

The view from this house the instant you open the front door is spectacular! We stayed here with family for Easter in April and celebration of my mom's 70th birthday! It had so much room that the teens could be in one part of the house completely different from the the adults. It was beautifully decorated, super clean and had everything that we needed to prepare our Easter lunch. The one thing I will say is if you can arrange your travel plans make sure that you arrive during the daylight, if not you will have the most spectacular view come morning.
