'Play Big' Sleep 6 in Spacious & Cozy, Family Place!
Il nostro pulito, moderno, spazioso condominio unità superiore ha soffitti a volta una stufa a pellet automatico per tenere al caldo in quelle serate fredde dopo una lunga giornata sulle piste o nel deserto. Al piano di sotto, ha una cucina ben attrezzate con una grande, frigo freddo per mantenere i vostri après ski preferiti bevanda gelido. Il soggiorno ha due grandi poltrone reclinabili e un divano con due sedili "Lazy Boy" integrati, perfetti per guardare l'HDTV da 51 pollici o sonnecchiare. Entrambi i bagni sono stati recentemente rinnovati con nuove docce, vanità, pavimenti e servizi igienici. La camera da letto principale ha un comodo letto king size, una grande finestra con un bel lampo e un cassettone a grandezza naturale per tutti i tuoi effetti personali. Fuori sul balcone si può prendere il sole dalla esposizione a sud e la griglia il tuo cibo preferito. La camera da letto al piano superiore ha due letti a castello, TV, Xbox 360 e alcuni giochi forniti per far divertire i bambini, guardare film o giocare.
In inverno, quando è il momento di rilassarsi e distendersi c'è una vasca idromassaggio appena fuori dalla porta e giù per le scale. E durante le estati spettacolari c'è una zona campo da tennis, piscina, a ferro di cavallo e picnic a pochi passi dal gruppo.
Gli sciatori apprezzeranno la navetta "Linea Verde", che la pone a Eagle Lodge e sulle piste in pochi minuti. No guida, nessuna lotta per un parcheggio, no alla ricerca di un armadietto, basta andare alla fine del nostro parcheggio e prendere un posto sul bus, dopo tutto è la prima fermata e non c'è mai nessuno sul bus, a questo punto !

We had a wonderful time in Mammoth and enjoyed our stay at the Shockley condo. It was a convenient location and easily accommodated our family of 5. We enjoyed the fireplace in the evenings.
The only problem is we found a few dishes in the cupboard that weren't clean so we ran an extra load of dishes. We also could have used a second set of towels for 2 nights. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay in Mammoth.

This was a nice condo with a well appointed kitchen. There is a pool/hot tub available, but if you think you will use it make sure to get the code at the beginning of your stay, as it was not on the fridge were it was supposed to be (it apparently changes monthly). And the hot tub was a little sketchy, we did not use it, but the water was cloudy and too low to properly circulate (we did notice the complex maintenance folks come the next day, I guess for their weekly cleaning, so maybe it would have been better after that) Also be careful of the digital door lock, it if slams (which it accidentally did on us a couple of times due to a breeze) it will screech for about a minute. Upstairs room with a queen and a bunk bed was great for our two young adult kids, but I think it would be a bit crowded if you actually put 4 people in it. Nice that there was a full bath upstairs for that room, and the bath on the main level was nice size, with plenty of counter space.

The space itself was as described and functional -- 2 bed, 2 bath, and full kitchen with a sit-down bar for 6 persons as the dining space. The beds were comfortable and the blackout shades effective for a good night's sleep.
When we arrived the space was very cold. The kitchen heater was broken and the pellet grill took a looong time to get going, so it was a chilly first few hours upon arrival.
Overall the place worked for just 2 nights, but there were definitely some elements that felt sub-par as well: we found long black hairs in a couple of the bed sheets, on a plate, and in a glass. The sponge in the kitchen was old, not a clean/packaged one. There was no shampoo or bath gel provided anywhere, which I've never encountered in other rental properties; I'm lucky I randomly had some with me. The pellet grill was basically the main source of heat, but the pellets provided were so few we ran out on the second (our last) evening.
All in all, it worked for our very brief stay and the hosts seemed pleasant enough and responsive. Not sure they've got the best management/maintenance or cleaning company, though.

The location of the property was the best. On the slopes in about 20 min. Also, back inside within 20 min. We enjoyed the fire place each day and my wife enjoyed sitting out on the porch. The upstairs area was the best. The space allow our to group to our separate space. We will returning!

Loved this place and location

Property is very well kept and clean. Great entertainment system. Beds are super comfy. Kitchen was well stocked and the bar made it nice to hang out. Pellet stove works awesome for heating. Looking forward to staying here again. Well done Shockley's!

Family weekend getaway
This property was perfect for our family of 5. Very clean and comfortable and is a great location for snowboarding, xc skiing, dinners out, shopping, etc. Communication with home owners is easy and they are very professional and friendly. We loved everything about our stay!

Amazing Place
The was a great place to stay. The location of the condo was convenient and made navigating Mammoth very easy. The condo itself was very comfortable and spacious. One thing that was really nice was the amount of cookware as this made cooking so much easier. The owners were very friendly, helpful and accommodating as our check in time changed due to an incoming storm. They communicated quickly which made the situation so much easier. I cannot wait to come back with my family.

Just right for the 3 children and 3 adults
It was very convenient to all the activities in Mammoth and the stores. The condo had all that was necessary for home. Only a few recommendations: The entry door knob would scrape our hands as we opened the door due to closeness to doorway; need a screen door to one of the sliders to enjoy the outside air and beauty; and it would be great to have a TV in the Master bedroom. We would definitely stay at this place again! Thank you!

Clean and Cozy
The condo is well maintained and very clean. The kitchen is well supplied with plates and good quality pots and pans. It is very close (about two blocks) from the grocery store and some good small restaurants with take out. The keypad entrance made getting in and our very easy. The downstairs bed could use an upgrade (a bit lumpy).

Great communication
The property owner responded to my emails within minutes. He clarified a few questions to my satisfaction and was easy to work with. The location in the middle of Mammoth was great.

Perfect Mammoth condo for spring ski week
Awesome experience renting this condo. Great condition, awesome location. Particularly appreciated that there was plenty of cooking supplies and pots and pans so that we could cook breakfast each morning before hitting the slopes. Ski locker was convenient as were the shelves and hooks in the entryway to store and dry out all our gear. Also, the bathrooms were nicely updated and the huge, HD TV was excellent for watching golf and baseball. We look forward to staying here again on our next trip!

This was a very needed little getaway for my family! The condo is beautiful and includes everything you will need for your stay! The place was clean, with everything a family needs to spend a small vacation in the mountains. Short walk to the shuttle stop that goes to Eagle Lodge. Vons is within a walking distance too. No need to drive, which is very nice in icy and snowy weather.

Killer cabin
Had a great time on our trip. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed to cook meals. There were games for the kids to play an Xbox and roku was a plus. Bummer we couldn’t use the spa due to COVID but can’t complain otherwise.

Very clean and comfortable condo
We really enjoyed our 2-night stay here. Everything was clean, well kept and comfortable. Towels and linens were top-notch. The only thing I would improve is a bit firmer bed, and wish there were soap dispensers. Communications with the owner, Brian, were great, and the check-in and entry process were very well communicated via e-mail. Will definitely seek out this property for future stays in Mammoth.

Great place to stay
Close to the spa. Excellent parking. Spacious apartment with great amenities. Heats up quickly and a close walk to Jimmy's Greek Restaurant. I highly recommend a visit there as well.

Cozy and convenient
This condo has been nicely updated by the owners with modern bathrooms and nice kitchen appliances. The kitchen was well stocked with new cookware, condiments, and much of what was needed for preparing meals. I was thankful to find cooking oil and flour...
We enjoyed the breakfast counter which seats 6 on both sides. Perfect for dining together as well as playing board games.
The large tv on the first floor, as well as the tv and game system on the second floor were a nice feature and all in good working condition. Spare batteries for the game controller would have been helpful.
King bed was comfortable, although the sheet is pilling and should be replaced. My son says he could feel the springs on the bunk mattress upstairs. Bedspread/duvet covers and decorative shams could probably use more frequent cleaning, as there were some stains present.
One of the recliners did not recline, but the one that worked was comfortable.
Heaters and pellet stove were all in good working condition and kept the unit comfortable.
Cleaning crew missed a sticky spot on the kitchen floor, but overall cleanliness was good.
It would be nice to have some floor towels added to the bathrooms.
A nice stay overall and would stay again.

Exactly as indicated, we enjoyed staying if this Condo for the weekend with our family of five. Relative short bus ride to Eagle lodge from stop #42 at end of the parking lot.
