Great house on the Guadalupe. Location is great for people that want to tube or get out to scenic near by towns. River a little low so getting in and out at the property is a little challenging if older. There is a rope to assist.

Great location on River rd- especially if you want to be close to whitewater amphitheater/the horseshoe/canyon lake AND new braunfels. Only wish is that the private entry into the river had easier access to exit with a railing or something to pull up on to. River is deeper than we realized upon booking but great spot. Maybe not great for small kids as the decking doesn’t have railing either and it made me nervous even with my 11 year old walking around on it. Would stay here again- great location and just what we needed

The house is perfect! We spent most of our time on the back patio and in the river. We will definitely be back!

The place is nice and bright and very clean! It has a beautiful view of the Guadalupe River from the covered deck, which was our go-to place most of our time there. It would have been a bonus if it were screened in but overall the bugs weren't too much of an issue. There was plenty of wildlife on the river which we love. We saw large fish, a turtle, ducks, heron, and snakebirds. The water was lower than I expected, so due to my mobility issues, I wasn't able to step into the river from the property. There's tubing and a bunch of other places in the area to enjoy the river though. We had a great time. We only had to contact our hosts once with a minor question but they got back to us immediately which we appreciated. Many thanks to our gracious hosts for letting us enjoy life on the river for a little while.

We’ve been coming to Sadler Texas for about 14 years and have rented quite frequently from Robert and VRBO. Love the location love the scenery and would recommend this House Rental to anyone. You won’t be disappointed. The host Robert is great and very helpful with anything you need or any questions you have to ask.

The house perfectly positioned on the Guadalupe river was very clean and well equipped. Nice furniture, comfy beds, kitchen well stocked for those who still love to cook. I couldn’t get enough of the view off the deck down by the river. Peaceful quiet neighborhood.

We were looking for a quiet laid back week. The house was just what two ladies needed for a week of chilling. We had a couple of chairs and spent the evenings in the back overlooking the river. In October during the week, it was very peaceful.

Peaceful and serene. Clean and just as advertised. Close to everything. Including tubing. We had a great time and will definitely be back for another stay.

Thoroughly enjoyed our family getaway. Enjoyed the Peace and quiet. Great fishing, swimming, and views were beautiful. Very friendly and cozy little town. We will be back.

This property was an upgrade for my wife and I which in previous years I've always stayed at a campsite along the river this year I wanted to change things up a bit and have my parents be able to come and visit us for the day and potentially stay the night so they didn't have to make the long drive back home. He also had two of our closest friends come and spend the weekend with us. It was great to have all of them in the same room together and comfortable in the air conditioning. Long story why aside and more about the property. Very clean very well maintained owner was easy to get a hold of and would reply promptly. I really enjoyed the back porch and yard that was right on the river with big trees and lots of shade. Was a bit steep though Stone steps helped you get down to the deck with ease. I would definitely stay here again in the future and hopefully years to come.

My husband and I planned a last minute getaway trip here and we were so happy with everything. The property is beautiful, so peaceful, everything we were looking for when it came to relaxing this past week.

My wife and I stayed for the month of August and it was great. The home was as described and communication with the owner was great. The river is relatively deep here so even with the low lake releases there was plenty of beautiful water to float and fish in. The neighborhood is quiet and nice. The campground across the river only had a few campers and none were too obnoxious. There weren't very many rowdy toobers. We purchased a wifi extender to work in one of the bedrooms, but it was good in the living room. There are a set of cameras facing the front yard and the back decks. Town is close and we would certainly stay here again.

We had a great stay! The house was clean and the location was quiet. Great first river stay for our kids! Location was perfect. Not too close but not too far from important locations. House was well stocked as well. We will definitely be back.

My family and I stayed for three days in July and wished we had more time. The property is gorgeous, tranquil, and peaceful. My boys, 6 and 7, went fishing every morning and caught their first fish. The house is well maintained, clean, and backs up on the river. The river outfitters at the front of the neighborhood were awesome. They dropped us off up the river, and we could float to the house. The place is the perfect house for a family of 5, and I would recommend it to anyone. We will be staying again in the future. Shout out to the owner's "great place, and thank you."

The house is clean, cozy, and relaxing. The back patio is perfect for your morning cup of coffee or even down at the dock right on the river. The backyard is beautiful with the trees and an amzing view of the river! This home is definitely an escape on the river!

Another great river trip! We love this property for many reasons. It’s on a quiet part of the river and just a short 5 minute drive to Lazy L&L Campground where our friends stay. We bring our own tubes and float from this house down to the campground. This property is very well stocked and perfect for a river trip vacation. We love it that the second bedroom has double Queen beds. It’s perfectly set up for teenagers to have their separate space. With the owners permission and a small additional fee we were allowed to bring our dog. We felt very safe taking her for walks in this quiet friendly neighborhood.

Second time here and it was just as nice as the first! Love this house and will continue to return :)

Our stay was fantastic! The property was perfect for four adults to have a relaxing couple of days. The location is quiet and serene yet just a short drive to activities. We loved it and will return!

The pictures don't do this gem justice. The home is nicely equipped and extremely clean. The location is absolutely perfect, lots to do right on the river. We fished in Canyon Lake and enjoyed the nightlife in Gruene and San Antonio. Book this property if you are looking for a peaceful and fun vacation.

We had a great time at this little house. The location is fabulous. My kids enjoyed swimming and fishing in the river right in the backyard. Everything was clean, but a couple of items (fans, fireplace screen) could use a good dusting. We had a minor issue with the TV and the homeowner was very responsive to assist us. We would definitely stay here again!

There is a poem by Wendell Berry titled The Peace of Wild Things that I find fitting for this property. The back porch, river, and trees were all what was needed.

We came to celebrate our son's 16th birthday. The home is cozy yet spacious. Had a stocked kitchen. We were surprised that there is a newer fridge than pictures and had an ice maker and water. The river was accessible and beautiful. We had a wonderful trip!

We had such an amazing stay at this house and it was so relaxing! We had every meal on the patio over looking the water, and spent hours listening to music and chatting with my friends. Also we used one of the river outfitters up the road and was able to float down to the house. I'll for sure stay here again and will recommend it to my family and friends!

We really enjoyed our stay! River was flowing and the house had everything we needed.
