Lodge sul lungofiume privato proprio sul fiume Kenai! Rilassati sul ponte con vista sul fiume o cammina e pesca dalla nostra banca. Mobili a tema d'Alasca e mobili di alta gamma. La cucina è ben fornita insieme al proprio barbecue sul ponte. Letto matrimoniale nella camera da letto principale e un divano letto matrimoniale nella zona soggiorno principale. C'è una lavatrice e asciugatrice e un grande congelatore orizzontale con canne da pesca e reti per il vostro uso. E alla fine della giornata, puoi goderti la tv satellitare e internet ad alta velocità.
Siamo a poco più di 1 miglio dal centro di Soldotna a cui si accede da una pista ciclabile asfaltata. Ci sono anche molti percorsi pedonali e ciclabili proprio fuori dalla porta.
Se non vuoi cucinare tutti i tuoi pasti, Soldotna e Kenai (8 miglia di distanza) hanno molti ottimi ristoranti e fast food, nonché mercati degli agricoltori e camion di cibo locale.
E poi c'è la pesca !! Poiché le diverse specie di salmone entrano nel fiume Kenai, alcune sono più facili da catturare dalla nostra banca rispetto ad altre. Se il budget lo consente, consigliamo vivamente di uscire con una guida.

Hosts were so kind and responsive. The space was incredibly clean and a perfect location. You can walk right to the river from the back! Located in a quiet area. Stay was nothing short of perfect. Thank you!

What an amazing location and home. Every amenity is provided for any length of stay. Sitting beside the Kenai River, the sunrises and sunsets are must-see! Highly recommend this home!

Wonderful place close to Soldotna! Would stay here again without hesitation. Janet was a wonderful host she recommended local activities and was easy to communicate with.

We enjoyed our stay. The accommodations superseded our expectations. The owners are very special and accommodating. The parking was easy and the fishing was the best I had in the 20 plus times I've been in Alaska. We would highly recommend to our friends and hopefully can return someday.

The home was nicely stocked, very clean and comfortable with a great view of the Kenai river. Marv and Janet are exceptionally nice people, they are extremely helpful and go above and beyond to make their guests comfortable. They have a lot of knowledge of the area and are very willing to share.

Absolutely wonderful
Janet is the bomb. She was extremely helpful in selecting restaurants, getting us set up in her place (which you could eat off the floor it was so clean), making sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely go back to stay when we return to Alaska.

Piece of Alaska!
What was not to like! The hosts were perfect in every way! The place was so cozy and views so beautiful! Everything you could possibly need was available down to the smallest items you may have forgotten! Bed was soooo comfortable! And so quiet I truly believe you could have heard a pen drop! Would not hesitate to stay again. Alaska hospitality at its finest!

We could walk down to Kenai river and location was very quiet. Marv was very friendly- Janet was out of town but very reachable via text or VRBO messaging.

Wonderful find!
The view was incredible, we all slept so well on the beds, and Janet was so pleasant to talk to. We have already told many of our friends to book here.

Clean, convenient and all essentials
Marv & Janet are excellent hosts! Gave us good recommendations for navigating the area for hiking and fishing. The apartment is clean with all essentials for cooking/grilling. Towels and sheets are soft and clean. Pictures and description accurate. Close to Soldotna but not in hectic area. We would stay here again. Saw moose and twin calfs 2x off deck.

This was a great place to stay in Soldotna. Very homey. Marv & Janet were great hosts! The two upstairs units share a balcony with a divider. It could have been awkward if the others were hanging outside but they weren’t when we were. Would highly recommend this place.

Beyond our expectations! Unbelievable view of the river! Cottage was beautifully decorated, very cozy with all the amenities you could possibly need! Host was exceptional! I would highly recommend this cottage when visiting Soldotna!

If you have the opportunity to rent this place, DO IT! Janet and Marv are incredible hosts! This cabin is secluded and has unbelievably amazing views! The actual cabin is very clean and comfortable and the perfect place to spend time after all our outings and excursions. We were able to cook dinner a couple of nights and I really enjoyed relaxing by the fire at the rivers edge while my husband fished. We were even able to have an awesome encounter with a bull moose on the property! It was certainly a trip and home away from home to remember.

Most amazing views!

A little slice of AK paradise
Janet and Marv run a top notch operation and the views from the room are simply stunning; I could stay there the whole summer and be extremely happy. Highly recommend and will stay here again for sure.

Beautiful views of Kenai River. Nicely decorated. Kitchen fully supplied. Convenient to Soldotna.
Main bed mattress was too soft and unsupportive for my back. Deck is not private with adjacent unit sharing space divided only by a partial verticle wood fence. Adjacent party has to go thru your deck space to get to stairway to go to ground level and get to River. Mosquitoes are very prominent on the river bank after 6 pm.

My husband and I really enjoyed this VRBO and trip! The property is clean, has a full kitchen, washer/dryer; great wifi, and satellite tv! Communication with Janet, the owner, was super good and easy too! Would highly recommend this place! It was 10 minutes or less to anything we did in Soldotna.

Great Location on the Kenai
Wonderful place right on the River. You can fish from here, great view from the living room, nice breeze, comfortable bed, kitchen gadgets to cook with and a gas stove. We had a great time!

Very nice touch with coffee! Sheets were good, although we didn’t cook the kitchen was very well stocked. Very hospitable.

Great location and property
My wife and I spent a week fishing and hiking around the Kenai peninsula. The property is great, the river access is really nice and house is clean and comfortable. The only thing I could say is that the kitchen knives could use a good sharpening but Janet and Marv have a great place and we will definitely back again.

Peaceful setting on the river close to town
We loved our stay here! We came down for our 10 year anniversary and loved the location and setting. Fished a little bit on the bank down the steps from the house, but no luck. Still so fun! We also were unable to leave Soldotna due to road closures from a massive wildfire and thankfully were able to stay an extra night! Janet was so nice and kind to us and will definitely stay here again!

Great place on the river
A nice comfortable place on the Kenai. The reds were running at their peak while we were there so the ability to fish from bank added extra value. The views of the river from the deck were picture worthy. The only drawback was having to carry almost 180 lbs of salmon filets up the stairs, Not a bad problem to have, really. Another plas was the young bull moose that walked through the back yard one evening.

Amazing location!
This house was not only a wonderful place to relax In Soldotna, but it was a great central location to explore the Kenai area. Close to several hiking and fishing opportunities. We’ll definitely be back.

Wish we had more time here!
Our stay was amazing! Janet and Marv were so nice and made sure we had everything and more during our stay. Their property is so beautiful, right on the Kenai River. Their place was clean and comfortable with full kitchen and awesome deck with great views. I would definitely recommend this to anyone! Thank you!!

Kenai River Retreat!
It was right on the river. What a wonderful location. We felt like we were in the wild but close to Soldotna. Very clean and comfortable. Janet was friendly and very accommodating. Highly recommend this location for your Alaskan get away.
