Beautiful and peaceful

My family of four really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back if we visit the keys again. The building is located in between the pool and the ocean, so having quick access to either was nice. The condo was clean and had an ample kitchen for us to have breakfast and the occasional meal. The air conditioning worked great and was a welcome reprieve from the July heat. There is a decent restaurant just a short drive down the road, and plenty of places on Marathon key to visit, grocery shop, and dine out. The central location in the keys was great for exploring the other islands. Thanks for a great stay!

It was located in a perfect area . A few steps to the ocean and really close to the pool . The condo was clean, beautifully decorated and everything you needed in the kitchen . The grills worked great and gave you a great few of the ocean. The owners were accommodating and they have a great condo . We met a lot of good people in the key colony. We are planning another trip down in the near future.

Good base to explore the Keys. Lots of attractions and points of interest close by. Safe, quiet environment and lots of friendly families staying in the complex.

We spent the week before Christmas here and had a great time. The location is quiet but very central to all the Keys, and made for a good home base for day trips in either direction, from Key West to Key Largo. We found the condo to be very comfortable. We enjoyed the close proximity to both the beach and the pool, and there's a nice view of both from the little balcony off the master bedroom. A great spot to enjoy morning coffee or keep an eye on the kids in the pool. The gas grills and tiki hut were perfect for preparing and enjoying a nice dinner beside the water. It's a short 1 minute walk to Sunset Beach park in the evening to watch the sunset. Ed was very responsive and helpful both before and during the trip. Thanks for a great getaway!

The condo was very nice and well equipped. The master bed was very comfortable! We really liked the location in Key Colony Beach. The staff employed at the condominiums were very nice as well…we enjoyed talking to them !

Great place for a family retreat. So quite and beautiful. Key Colony is a place to relax unwind and regroup. Beautiful sunrises and steps away from beautiful sunsets! Private beach is just such a nice touch. Can’t wait to get back again

My husband and I had a wonderful week by the sea in this lovely condo in Marathon. This area us peaceful and centrally located to head up to towards Key Largo or down to Key West. The home has lots of nice touches with art and decor, comfortable beds, and a well stocked kitchen. There was a cooler and beach chairs as well that we used when snorkeling in Bahia Honda park. Nice balcony from which to view the ocean while having breakfast. Ed was very easy to communicate with - very responsive and welcoming. We would stay here again.

Always a family favorite vacation spot. Love Key Colony and this unit was just as expected. Great communication, easy to deal with and the condo had many necessities available upon arrival.

This unit is in a great location for exploring the keys, especially if you’ve never been (as was our case). The pool and beach are superb. However we were disenchanted with the unit itself, and felt that it needs a wholesale update. To wit: 1) barely enough towels for the 2 of us. Don’t know how a family could get along without bringing their own towels. No beach towels at all. 2) noisy systems. The A/C sounds like a 747 taking off next door. And when the fan in one bathroom (there wasn’t a fan in the other) joined in, there was nowhere to hide. The toilets are not lo-flow, and take forever to be done flushing. 3) supplies. We visited Publix for kitchen sink scrubbies, dish soap, and bar soap, etc. Bring your own amenities. 4) window coverings. We needed to adjust both vertical and horizontal blinds to get them to close completely. This is not a complete list of our frustrations. Would we rent this unit again? Probably not. We went to relax and not think about the upkeep needed on our home for a week, and this unit did not provide those luxuries.

Loved the unit! Two small issues… tv’s in bedrooms did not work & laundry outside of unit. Those did not detract from location, cleanliness or property. Fantastic beach area as well as outsides grilling & common areas. Well maintained and lots of extras.

Very nice condo complex. Owner was very quick to respond to questions. We used the pool everyday, and met some nice people. Would recommend!

The condo was very nice and clean. Very conveniently located and the pool was wonderful. The only down fall was there was a open pipe on the beach with gray water running out into the ocean. So we stayed at the pool most days for that reason. I would rent again but do hope they fix the pipe issue. Over all it was very nice and VERY kid friendly witch was huge for us.

This condo was clean and well stocked for everything we needed for our vacation. The location was great!

Key Colony is located in a nice family oriented part of the keys - there aren't as many tourists partying, making noise, and being a disruption. So if you're looking for a nice location to relax and be central to everything on the keys - this is the place for you! Many restaurants nearby (some walking distance, many within 5-15 min drive), key west is about an hour drive, and lots of snorkeling and marine animal places to visit within 20 min. The condo was conveniently located in the building between the beach and pool. The condo was well stocked and bathrooms were recently updated; however, the furniture in the living room was outdated and not as comfortable. It was great having two full bathrooms and the balcony off the master bedroom had great view of pool and beach. We loved the pool and private beach - there are lounge chairs and tables next to the beach and the condo also had numerous beach supplies so you don't need to pack them! We stayed early june 2021 and the pool and water were both warm and wonderful! We all got to relax and the beach and pool were never too crowded so you could actually enjoy it! There is also laundry facilities next to the pool (make sure to bring quarters!) and outdoor shuffle board, and covered bbq area with picnic tables available for guests to use. Would definitely recommend to families, couples, and anyone looking for a wonderful vacation to relax and enjoy all that the key's have to offer! Owners and manager provided all details we needed in advance before we arrived so we knew what to expect.

This was a great 2 bedroom/2 bath condo perfectly located between the beach and pool. The condo and grounds are very well maintained. We really enjoyed the balcony off the master bedroom to sit and relax. The view from the balcony was beautiful. The location in the keys is perfect.

This is a great, central location in Marathon. We had four adults in the condo and it was perfect for us. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and made cooking in very simple. We loved having happy hour on the beach! The grills were always available and there were plenty of chairs at the beach and pool. It was so nice to be able to walk the beach as well. We walked over to Sunset Point several times to enjoy nature's beauty, and also enjoyed walking the Key Colony neighborhood. I would definitely come back!

As always another wonderful stay. The condo is well stocked and clean. I really liked the updated kitchen and master bathroom. We of course will be back again ☺️

My mother I stayed for a week. The place is great, it has everything you need. It was wonderful walking out the door each day and seeing (and hearing) the water. The neighborhood is quiet and and not a lot of traffic. Even though you cannot walk on the beach, you can walk around the area. It was a perfect getaway and centrally located in the Keys for exploring.

The overall experience of booking, checking in, communicating with the owners and the property manager was very good. The property was comfortable and well stocked. The location in the middle keys is very convenient. We used the grill and the private beach. The beds were comfortable. The master bedroom runs hot, so we needed to turn down the a/c pretty low at night for comfort. There was an issue upon check in, but it was addressed promptly. Overall, we would recommend this property.

This was a great 2 bedroom condo close to a beautiful beach, which we really enjoyed. The condo is perfectly located between the beach and the pool, and we used each frequently. The condo provided us with everything we needed for a great stay. Due to covid 19 and my husband’s health we prepared and ate almost all of our meals in. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment and dinnerware. My grandchildren had their own queen size beds in their own room with a TV. Our room had a comfortable king size bed. One issue was the bed frame squeaked with every little movement on the side closest to the master bath. In addition, though beautifully decorated we did not feel we had adequate nighttime privacy from the coverings over the sliding glass door. Though it did not lesson our enjoyment of this great condo. Great linens were provided. One other issue, which was my fault, was the distance of the condo from the parking lot and the condo was on the second floor with no elevator access. The ad did not state an elevator (so not their fault) and I did not think about the necessity till I had to carry all of our belongings a good distance from the car to the condo. I got my exercise check in and check out. Overall, it was a great place and we really enjoyed it. We would return in a heartbeat so I would encourage you to stay here. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your awesome beach condo.

Spent one week over the New Years Holiday here, and it was the best place I have ever stayed in, in the Keys! They have everything in the unit you would need, plus beach, pool, and location is perfect. Thanks Mar and Ed for the stay, and your response time to anything was so fast! Ready to go back and spend more time here!

Loved the location. Got to see all the Keys north and south of us. Weather was a little disappointing- cloudy and rainy half of the time. But still had a wonderful time!
