The house was fantastic. Spacious, clean, well -equipped, comfortable. The owner couldn’t be easier or kinder to communicate with and this was our families favorite house out of the 8 times we’ve had family reunions. We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed this home on the golf course with beautiful views. We stayed cool despite the very warm weather and liked being close enough to walk to the Paulina pool. There was great outdoor dining on the deck, as well.

Enjoyed the location of the property within Black Butte Ranch - close to lodge facilities and nice views to the Big Meadow golf course. This property is the best stocked property we have ever rented at BBR - lots of kitchen pots, bowls, plates, silverware, spices, and paper products. Appreciated the 2 refrigerators (one in the garage) and the 2 dishwashers. We had 9 family members staying so we used all the bedrooms. Bunk room is small but worked for us. The two upstairs bedrooms (not the primary suite) need to have shades installed in the skylight areas over the beds (we had a 3 year old waking up at the crack of dawn and could not nap in these areas because of the light and heat generated by the skylights).

Wonderful house with a great view. Bedrooms were nicely sized and 5 full bedrooms. Bonus room was just that, a nice room away from others. Kitchen spacious and having two dining areas came in handy. Always enjoy a hot tub.

This was a wonderful home to accommodate a large family or groups. All the photos were very accurate in what to expect! The large home was just perfect to sit and relax on both decks, whether watching golfers at the 15th or enjoying the hot tub. It was very well-stocked with extras like zip lock bags, foil, etc. The main bedroom upstairs had a lovely deck and view and lots of space with a separate tub/ shower. The two other upstairs bedrooms share a bathroom but are very large for families with kids. The towels were of high quality and there were plenty of hot tub towels (although they could be stored on the main level closer to the hot tub.) We searched until we found them on the second floor. We would love to return as a family. Communication was also very efficient. Thank you for a wonderful home. The living space was so beautiful and open to the kitchen which allowed for a great entertainment space while prepping and cooking. Thank you for sharing such a comfy home.

This was our annual poker trip, and all seven of us enjoyed the property. The entire house was very clean, has great artwork throughout (nice touch), and a very well stocked kitchen. All the beds were comfortable, with plenty of pillow choices, and nobody complained of poor sleep (a first for the group)! The outdoor space was very relaxing and had many areas to enjoy the property from, plus a top notch hot tub. The owners are very responsive and easy to work with...we will be back!

Great house right on the golf course. Our boys had a great time playing whiffle ball and soccer on the course in the evening. Kitchen was great and nice overall feel to the main level. Only thing that was weird is the the kids room on the first floor does not have a window that opens and the door to the outside is blocked by the bunkbeds. This is a fire hazard plus hard to get some fresh air into that room. Also I would take out the TV in that room and put in a dresser since the closet is locked.
Owner was great a communicating. Overall good stay.

Incredible property for multi family vacation at Black Butte Ranch. Great kitchen and living room space plus the ability to be alone and quiet with the den and the layout of the bedrooms. Absolutely loved this place!!

10 of us stayed here for a family wedding. We really loved everything about the house but especially the kitchen and living room area. The pics do not do it justice. It was a large open space with a two sided fireplace. Plenty of wood - so the ambiance was great with a fire in the fireplace. The art work on the walls was so interesting and beautiful. Posters from Sisters folk concerts to northwest scene paintings and interesting flat sculptures. The kitchen was nicer than I have ever seen in a rental and had everything we needed. I wish we could have stayed more than 4 nights!

Group of girlfriends did our annual trip and stayed at this great house. We loved the open layout/kitchen, the cozy TV room, and the two dishwashers! All of the beds and bedding were incredibly comfortable. Would stay again!

My wife and two young children stayed at this wonderful home on the 15th hole. It was very well equipped with everything needed. The large rooms and comfortable beds were also a hit! Being able to sit on the deck or get in the hot tub we’re huge bonuses too. No complaints at all from our group.

Family reunion
Nine of us stayed a week. (75, 70, 45, 42, 42, 12, 10, 9 and 9. The property was mostly as advertised by all the previous reviewers: great location, spacious, very comfortable, well equipped with just about everything you would want or need. The kids loved playing golf on the 15th hole in the ev3ning after the golfers were done. Bring your own popcorn popper if you prefer that over microwaved popcorn. The hot tub was the best one I’ve ever used and worked great. Only demerits are for superficial cleaning (broken glass in kitchen swept under edge of refrigerator, dusty smelling bed spread on my bed and many nooks and crannies, sides of dressers, under beds, etc. have dust and debris collected) and the washing machine and dishwasher need replacement.

Beautiful property
We had a family reunion here at Black Butte and this house was great. Nice location, fully stocked, and lots of rooms for both kids and adults. The a/c was wonderful during a few super hot days. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect place
This was the absolute perfect house for us. We are a multigenerational family. The layout of this house provides ample space for everyone. The kitchen was fully stocked for our big family meals. The hot tub and sauna were the cherry on top. The location is perfect we were able to bike to multiple pools. We will definitely be willing to rent this place again.

Amazing Home
We have been going to Black Butte for over 40 years. This is definitely the most beautiful home we have rented. 5 spacious bedrooms, 4 bathrooms. An open living room/dining area/kitchen. Wall of windows overlooking the Glaze Meadow Golf Course. Well stocked kitchen. Beautiful fireplace. Confortable beds. The home is so large it has 2 staircases to the second floor. I lost count of the many televisions it has. Every room has one. As a travel gent I have travelled the world and stayed in many beautiful homes, but this home tops them all.

Pickleball ladies weekend getaway
We had 7 ladies staying at the property. Plenty of space for each of us with sleeping arrangements and to hang out. The owners were very accommodating and answered detailed questions right away. The house had every little gadget we could need. We highly recommend this property for any length of stay, and have thought about renting again for our individual families! Thank you!!!

Great Stay and Location
Very clean and well equipped house. Beds are super comfortable. Water pressure in the shower was strong. Kitchen was stocked full of equipment. Wood was already chopped in the garage. Easy 45min walk to the spa. You can get 4 cars parked without having to shuffle them. Having the 2nd fridge in the garage was awesome as we cooked every night.

Black Butte is beautiful in the spring
The house was perfect for our group of 4 couples , everyone had their own bathrooms and lots of space to spread out . The kitchen was well equipped including spices , a nice surprise .

Activities for all
We had a wonderful stay in Black Butte where there were activities for all. Lots of tennis, swimming and skiing. We rented bikes so we could get around in the fresh air. The lovely home had so much comfortable, usable space. We were so pleased that we could all spread out as well as come together comfortably. Great week!

Great place to gather your family.
Our family of 13 (three generations) found the house comfortable, well appointed, and fully equipped. Beds were good, bedrooms offered distance from the major gathering spots (for those who wanted to retire early), and the kitchen was awesome. We cooked all our meals and everything we needed was available (from hand mixer to soup pots to platters).
The location was also great. We had snow so can't speak to bike access etc. but the golf course is right out in front and offered snow play, sledding and cross country skiing.
Our hosts were responsive to our questions both before and during our stay. We would definitely opt to stay here for our next Black Butte vacation

The houst is absolutely stunning, and fully stocked with everything you need to make amazing meals! We had a big group and this house never felt cramped! The owners were very quick to respond to any questions, and super nice! 10/10 will definitely book again!

As Advertised
Our family's stay at the Big Meadow Lodge in Black Butte Ranch will be remembered for years to come. Our entire group was able to make themselves at home upon arrival. We could not be more pleased with our experience here & highly recommend this property to anyone who expresses interest. It was absolutely home base for everyone in our group as we all branched out to the many activities that are available at the Ranch & the cute little town of Sisters just minutes away. Just like the title states, this property is "As Advertised"!

Big Meadow Lodge is for real
Property was one of the best we have ever rented. We will definitely stay again sometime in the future.
We are home owners at BBR too and appreciate feedback for improvement. We had just two issues during our stay. There was a lot of food accumulated in the filter of the dishwasher. We cleaned it out and ran it without dishes to remove the smell. Also, one of the circuit breakers on one of your hot water heaters kept tripping. I think we had to reset it 4 times during our stay.
We loved how well the kitchen was stocked. We had a lovely family week.
