Rathbun Lake, Deer Run Rental, & Fully Furnished Cabin!
Il lago Rathbun è uno dei laghi più grandi e più belli dell'Iowa con oltre 11.000 acri di acqua, 155 miglia di costa, invitanti calette e ottima qualità dell'acqua. Questo combinato con il bellissimo legno di quercia e hickory e migliaia di acri di prati nativi restaurati, offre un ambiente meraviglioso per godersi i grandi spazi aperti. Enjoyed our stay. Check in was smooth. Cabin was clean with a well stocked kitchen for family dinners. Sheets and towels were clean and well stocked. Enjoyed hiking to the lake and family time around the fire pit. Would definitely visit again. Thanks again Scott!

I stayed here with my mother and daughter- We enjoyed staying at the Deer Run Rental. We were in the area for a wedding at Emerald Hills Events so we were busy and didn’t get to enjoy the property as much as we would have liked but I would absolutely return in the future. It felt very homey and comfortable inside with plenty of cooking supplies and a grill, comfortable beds, and even extra blankets and beach towels. Very quiet, lots of nature to see, the path down to the lake was beautiful we enjoyed wading and walking along the lake.

Excellent property close to Lake Rathbun. House was clean and in a nice area with easy access to get the boat to the boat ramp and plenty of room to park it in the evening.

We stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate a bday with family and friends. The cabin had everything we needed and the location was great. It was clean and kitchen was well stocked with dishes and etc. We really enjoyed it and plan to hopefully return next summer!

We found the home ready for us and well supplied with everything we needed. I appreciated the back-up propane tank for the grill as we needed it. Nice grill, by the way! Almost needed a stepstool to get in the bed! It was a fishing trip for myself and my three sons. Plenty of room to park the boat and two other cars. A less than 10-minute drive to the State Park boat ramp. Also brought two kayaks which we left hidden in the woods by the lake shore. No problems.

This property is close to the public boat ramps at the lake. The kitchen is well stocked with detergents, kitchen supplies, serving dishes, etc. Lots of seating in the living room for family movie nights.

This place was awesome, we enjoyed our stay, highly recommend and highly considering a summer get away Scott was so helpful with our TV problem and it was extremely appreciated. It snowed while we were there, the outside was so beautiful even though we stayed in most of it, we appreciated the option for a pet, our mocha aka—- mochi pokey(English Bulldog) enjoyed family time with us as well. Me and my two girlfriends needed a centrally located location for a girl’s trip. One was from Illinois, Iowa and Kansas; so this location was great so no one had to travel a long distance. The three of us got together to make a Quilt of Valor and this house was great. It was a bit dark, but with the use of lights, we had good lighting. The linens and towels were all new and fresh. We finished our Quilt of Valor around 5 PM and headed out to BK’s Boathouse to celebrate. We would definitely stay at this location again. It was great!
