We came back this year and enjoyed perfect weather. Rosemarie held up her end with the weather. This is a nicely laid out house well stocked & on a great spot on the Sacandaga. An easy ride to Northville if you need something.

Michael and Rosemary are wonderful hosts. The home was amazing, larger than I expected and immaculate. Cute touches all around with a wonderful yard, views and dock. Everything exceeded our expectations and highly recommend this property.

We had a fantastic time at this extremely clean, private, and well appointed getaway. We especially appreciated the setup of the property, with several different areas to relax inside and outside. To top it off, the fishing was great.

Prior to this trip, I had looked at the pictures of this house 5 or 6 times, just to assess what we needed to bring (and dream of what was to come). When my wife and I first arrived, we had no idea how cozy and warm the home actually was! Highlights from the home include: well-stocked kitchen; comfortable beds; large bathroom (also well-stocked); window AC unit that was more than sufficient in the 90-degree heat; fun decorations all over; amazing back yard with plenty of seating, a hammock and fireplace (that we used twice for s'mores). You can get your blood pumping with a few trips up and down the stairs to the dock... which by the way, I caught 9 or 10 bass from. There is also a resident bald eagle that flew by a few times, and a deer that strolls through the yard early in the morning. I could go on and on, but you get the point - this home is a place to unwind. There are plenty of small hikes within 30 minutes, and everything you need for shopping/take-out food is 15 minutes away in Northville. Rose told me all I needed to bring was food, and that is 100% accurate - everything else you need is there (spices, linens, etc). In summary, we obviously highly recommend this property. My family had a wonderful stay at this idyllic property. The house is lovely and had everything we needed. It is very well maintained, both inside and out. Being right on the lake is, of course, fantastic. Rosemarie and Paul made us feel very welcome, and check-in and check-out was extremely straightforward. It was really, really great. We would *definitely* stay here again!

The property is wonderful. The inside of the house is very cozy and welcoming. Kitchen has everything you need if you want to have meals there. Very clean. The outside is so nice. Beautiful views and lots of room. The dock area was not as the picture showed, no tiny beach, just rocks, but we had fun fishing off of it, even caught a few!

Rosemarie was responsive and the house was clean & inviting.

My wife and I were looking for a place to escape the urban busyness of our day to day lives when I came across this gem. It was exactly what we needed. The house was cozy and comfortable, and the location was peaceful and gorgeous, just as you’d imagine from the photos. The owner and property management did a fine job of making sure things were clean, stocked, and accessible. If you’re looking to relax and enjoy some fresh air, I can’t recommend this property enough.

We really enjoyed the stay here. The place is nicely setup and on a great spot on the Sacandaga. We had to 'work' a few hours and the WiFi was a life saver. The place was clean and perfectly prepped. One beef: I clearly stated 'no rain all week', and Rosemarie promised no problem. That's the last time I take her advice! Otherwise, the place & support was great!

Such a beautiful place with a beautiful view that you can easily see with all the windows. Happened to be a full moon so the night view was spectacular too.

This home shows pride of ownership. Very beautiful and impressive. Goes perfectly with the lake and surrounding landscape. A bit of a climb down and up to the dock, but nice stairway with rest landings. Not much by way of tv channels; bring your own firestick or Roku plug in; especially if you want MLB or to watch the Yankees.

We had another wonderful stay at your beautiful place! The fall colors provided a spectacular backdrop to your cozy home!! I didn't think it could get any better than our summer trip there, but every season must offer its own special allure! We feel right at home in your immaculate house, and enjoy the privacy the property provides. There are so many great attractions in the area, but honestly, you could park your car and not get in it again until the sad day you have to leave. Thanks so much for sharing your lakehouse!

The property was very clean, the location was great for peace, relaxation, and access to outdoor activities. The beach is great too. The house is comfortable (and really cute). The owners, Rosemarie and Michael are very responsive. We didn’t have any issues during our stay but I did have a request. I can’t say enough about this place and how nice the owner’s were. I am already planning my next stay.

This is a perfectly nice house on an unbelievably beautiful lake. The outside is stunningly beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. The photos are accurate, though in person it might even be better. And going IN the lake is absolutely amazing. The house itself is fine—it’s cute and comfortable, no frills. I gave four stars for cleanliness because while the place was very clean in general, there were a lot of dishes, utensils, and pots and pans that were dirty when we took them out to use them and we had to wash them before cooking with or eating on them. It wasn’t a huge deal but it was kind of annoying. And I have four for location and neighborhood because while the location (on the lake) is fabulous, the “neighborhood” feels pretty isolated. So it depends on what you’re looking for. If you’re happy to be going to a house, taking everything you need with you, and then hanging at the house and in the lake (and going on a BEAUTIFUL hike nearby), then it’s perfect. But there is not a decent restaurant or grocery store within 30 minutes of the house. That is not a complaint—it was great for our purposes—we cooked and grilled every night and were happy to just relax and go in the lake and go for a hike, but you just should know that’s what you’re getting.

This house is so cozy, clean and comforting. It has all the needed amenities. It sits on a absolute beautiful property with stunning views of the lake. It’s everything I could have asked for and more. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay!

What a great place to relax! Whether on the dock listening to the waves crash in or sitting in Adirondack chairs watching the sunset reflect off the water, every spot on this property amazes the senses!!

This was a great location with beautiful views of the lake. The house itself is gorgeous and the owners were very communicative. An absolutely stunning view with a gorgeous, sand bottom lake. Highly recommend this place!

Great house, right off the lake. The house had a lot of space to relax in comfort, while still taking in the outdoor views. The backyard was fully equipped with outdoor seating, fire place, and bbq—along with Adirondack chairs perfectly placed to give you the best view of the lake. The dock allows for easy lake access and a second deck to sit out in the sun right above the lake. All in all, a great place to get away from the city!

The property was better than expected. There were so many thoughtful and personal touches inside and out. It was very comfortable and inviting and felt like a home away from home. Everything was very clean. We can't express enough how nice this property was! We will definitely stay again if we have the chance!!! Beautiful Home!!!

Thank you so much for opening your home up to us! We enjoyed sitting on the beach in the warm sun reading a great book, visiting several historic sites in the area including the site of the Battle of Saratoga, and the surprise (for us) "end of summer" celebration that the homeowners on the lake participate in complete with bonfires and fireworks. That was absolutely magical to behold! Your home is the perfect place for getting away from it all and relaxing! Thank you!

Everything about the property was very accommodating and made our stay very enjoyable and comfortable and we thank the owners very much for the quality care they put into the house and property.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Pozo's. The house had everything we needed and there was plenty of space in the yard for relaxing and recreating. I don't think I saw the neighbors even once. The Placid Pines Pub up the road had some great tacos and Lake George is close enough to make for a fun day trip.

What a spot! View the lake and mountains from the back yard, or better yet from the very secluded deck halfway down the stairs to the dock. Very peaceful and relaxing, watching the clouds run across the sky, the wind on the lake and sunset creep into dusk. We made a fire in the fire pit and watched the moon and stars. Inside the kitchen was fully equipped as we buy local meat and produce and cook our own meals. The porch has windows on three sides to enjoy the lake and dinner is served there with that great view. The living room couch and chairs are very comfy. Things to do locally. Rent a pontoon boat and travel the lake. Take a short drive to the trail head to Tenant Falls, a short hike and a beautiful falls. Check out the old time 5 &10 in Northville. We'll be back.
