Cozy Bass Lake / Yosemite cabin on the Falls Beach.
Posizione, posizione, ubicazione! Casa di Bass Lake / Yosemite con vista sul lago di boo viste tutto intorno. Siamo una casa fuori dall'acqua e circa 100 yard a piedi dalla nostra barca scivolo e la zona Falls Beach. Le uniche case più vicine all'acqua sono il lago. Pines Village è proprio in fondo alla strada. Non riesco a trovare una posizione migliore sul lago Bass! 2 camere da letto e 1 bagno 6 posti letto! Letto matrimoniale in una stanza, letti a castello e trundle nella seconda camera da letto. Ha anche un divano super confortevole per dormire e un materasso ad aria queen size se avete bisogno di più spazio per dormire.
Siamo super vicino all'acqua, alla barca scivolata e alla Falls Beach. Il villaggio di Pines è a meno di un miglio di distanza e la porta sud di Yosemite è a 14 miglia (20 minuti in auto). La città di Oakhurst è anche a circa 10 minuti con tutte le comodità che potrebbe essere necessario. Non solo abbiamo il lago, ma ci sono innumerevoli sentieri escursionistici (la strada del sentiero di Willow Creek si trova dall'altra parte della strada), la mountain bike, e anche lo sci da neve è vicino.
La grande attività all'aria aperta vi è qui. Questa è una grande fuga per la natura selvaggia e lago!

Very nice property right off the lake in Bass Lake, CA. Just as described in the listing and conveniently located to Yosemite as well. Owner was very responsive as well. Would definitely return.

This was our first time to Bass Lake, and it was awesome! We had the most wonderful stay at Brian‘s place. The house is a true cabin feel with quality upgrades and amenities. Beds are comfy and lots of books and games for the kids. The backyard is amazing with plenty if space and seating. The location is perfect right next to a beautiful beach area. The town is close to jump in the car and be there in a few minutes. You could also walk there, but we have young children, so chose to drive. And to top it off, we met one of the nicest neighbors of all time. We definitely recommend Brian‘s place. His communication was top-notch, and it’s clear that he is super host. Cant wait to return!

Great place to stay, very comfortable, attractive lighting. On first glance it looks like a time capsule from the 1950s, but looking more closely it's a clever renovation keeping the spirit of that time but modernized--good A/C, beautifully updated bathroom, LR wall covered with cool vintage art, amazing formica table and kitchen counters. Backyard (which is the cover photo for the listing, don't look for that when you drive up) has lots of comfy places to sit. Strong recommend

We really enjoyed staying at Brian's place. Close to the lake and trailhead as well as entrance to Yosemite. Very nice kitchen with new appliances and plenty of plates, pans, etc. Beds are very comfortable. It was very warm during our visit and a/c worked very well. We really enjoyed sitting out on the back deck with a view of the lake. Thank you Brian.

The cabin was lovely, and the backyard was fantastic, with a fire pit, sitting areas, a grassy lawn, and lots of thoughtful landscaping. The owner did try to chase my husband out of the backyard through the ring camera, which was a little disconcerting, but he apologized once he realized his mistake. Please take note that there are no sundries that are generally available in a rental like spices, including salt, (we bought some and left it for the next guest), and shampoo. There was hand and dish soap available. We were there for the Yosemite 1/2 marathon and mile marker 11 is literally across the street from the front door. It was fun to cheer on our runners from the front of the house. Overall, a very positive experience and we look forward to returning someday!

My husband and I had a wonderful weekend at Cozy Cabin. A very rustic but comfortable cabin that sheltered us from a huge rain storm. We were able to use the close and sturdy boat slip. Fishing on Bass Lake was GREAT, we were one short of our limit on the second day of the Derby. Being senior citizens, the cabin suit us well with a great location, walk in shower, no steps, and comfortable furnishings. We will definitely be back and highly recommended the Cozy Cabin at Bass Lake. Brian was very easy to contact and kept communication available to us at all times.

Brian and his family are gracious enough to share this gem with renters. It is close to everything and walking to great hikes and the Falls Beach. We will continue staying here for years to come

We had a great time and enjoyed our stay. The yard is great and we made good use of the fire pit. The place is a little drafty at night but there is central heat and that made a difference. I would stay again in the future.

The cabin was great to stay in. The property is perfect for a couple, or for a family with kids. The backyard was large and has a fire pit, large area for kids to play and plenty of seating on the patio.

Very rustic cottage. Bass Lake is beautiful! We were attending a wedding at Bass Lake Resort. This cottage was conveniently located to the resort. The resort offers boat rentals for fishing, water skiing etc. Beach within walking distance of the cottage. Loved the great back porch for relaxing morning or evening. Great fire pit and lovely backyard. Brought back memories of my grandma’s cottage in Wisconsin. Your cottage provided comfortable beds 😁. Much appreciated. Would suggest wash cloths in the bathroom. Thanks for sharing your cottage. We had a great visit. Janice & Mark

House in great shape and in the perfect location.
Close to the falls beach(walking distance)
If I had to find anything that was wrong with the place I’d say was the screen on the back door. It’s coming off to where bugs can come in.

Bass Lake Stay
The cabin was very clean and roomy. Walking distance to a small beach and short driving to The Pines Village. with small shops and a couple restaurants. Very close to Yosemite National Park and close to Oakhurst. We enjoyed the cabin and would come back if in the area.

Cozy and wanted to stay there forever!
Very cozy and rustic. The rooms were roomy and everything was easy to operate. Brian was very responsive to any questions we had. Very close to the water, and though the dock was not available for use we were given permission to fish from it. I truly enjoyed this cozy, rustic and well stocked little house. Only thing I would suggest would be fewer appliances on the counter tops to allow more room for food prep, and fewer decorative items on surfaces to allow for places to put "stuff". Would definitely come again!

Comfortable getaway
We had a great stay! The cabin was easy to find and check-in was a breeze. Location is great - a relatively short bike ride or walk over to restaurants and docks at The Pines. The back yard and patio are big with plenty of seating options.

Walking to the lake and falls, fishing, restaurants, shopping all super close. Comfortable cabin, great beds, and amenities. The owner was accessible and wonderful to work with. We’d love to come back next summer!

Very Enjoyable
My family felt very at home with comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen and laundry room. Perfect size for our family of 4. Kids were in heaven with bunk beds and their own TV in bedroom. Loved the wide back porch, huge yard and outdoor firepit. Appreciated the recent and ongoing renovations and vintage decor. Wonderful being so close to hiking, lake and YNP. Will definitely be on family list of rentals to enjoy again.

Peaceful Getaway
Quiet, tasteful, comfortable cabin was a perfect retreat for me. The dock was very close to the cabin and a real pleasure to sit on, swim from and gaze at the lake.

the house is old and needs a remodel, the furniture overall is an attempt at being possibly era of the house, not really rental appropriate. overall the old adage you get what you pay for, The best part is the use of dock w/ umbrella and chairs, very enjoyable!

Quaint lake house, loaded with charm
We rented this cute little house for a weekend and were so happy we did! Great location, close to the lake and market. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. Well worth the money. The host Brian is really nice and answered all our questions in a prompt and courteous manner. Also, the back patio is a perfect spot for fellow artists to write, sketch, create......

Pier access cabin, which is great!
My grandson especially liked the movie access and location! The kitchen is well equipped! We also enjoyed cooking s’mores over the fire pit!

Nice
This house is cute and fitting to the pictures. The boat slip is a small walk down the main road, 2 minutes max, and was nice to fish off of. The house was cute and cozy and the owners are very nice. Bathroom needs a new shower stall, but other than that we have no complaints. We would stay again!

Our overall experience was great. Brian was an excellent host.
The house is older and very clean. The location is great. Brian, the host was so helpful whenever we had any questions at all. He has shared with us his ideas for renovations for the house. It will be really fun to see it transform. We will be booking this sweet cabin regularly.
