The apartment has plenty of space and the kitchen has plenty of cutlery, crockery and other machines, all of which work. Location is convenient for Erfurt railway station and trams but the one-way street outside causes some parking issues and the dual carriageway is quite noisy. Good water pressure in the bathroom.

We are both over 6 feet tall so the large step up to the bathroom caused both of us to hit our heads on the door frame. We prefer a firm mattress, so those in use are far too soft and gave us both a sore back. Window mechanism in the front bedroom was already broken (stuck open)on arrival which gave a potential noise/security issue. The window was "fixed" during our stay and now opens about 1cm at the top, which is useless in a very hot week (as we had). Internal doors and handles are very old fashioned and heavy to the extent that we were warned by a neighbour for slamming doors (we weren't) after one day. No eye appeal from outside the block of flats.
