I was comfortable here. As a woman traveling by herself, I liked it was a gated area with security. Quiet area & beach which was fine with me. A bit of a distant to restaurants & grocery store. The place was fairly clean, need to dust under furniture. There was a little mold in main bathroom behind the toilet & missing baseboard, but owner was having it fixed. The fan in the master bedroom was very noisy so I couldn't use it. These things were minor to me & small fixes. Otherwise very comfortable. Had everything I need in the kitchen & condo. Owner was quick to answer any questions, great communication. I was disappointed to find out I couldn't rent it for next year. Yes I would rent this space again.

Great location for dining and family

This was our 3rd time staying in the building. Beach front beautiful. The pool is heated to 85 degrees and very nice. Restrooms by the pool locked and always clean. You have a locker close to keep your chairs, etc. This condo was great. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need. The furniture and beds quite comfy. The view from all rooms is beautiful. The owner was always available to talk through email or telephone. Will definitely rent again.

The condo is located on a great beach at Sand Key. Amenities and furnishings were overall adequate and as advertised except that condo is 1400sf and NOT 1700sf which is misleading. Mostly a relaxing environment for a 3 month stay except when construction was going on at times within the building at other condos which can be noisy 8-5 M-F. Upon check-in I thought we had a positive communication via email with the owner (Rita) who we later found out was not her, but her daughter handling the business. We do not understand why the daughter didn't acknowledge herself. We emailed concerns about sliding door in master not closing properly causing the AC differences within the condo and road noise in the bedroom and also the master shower door leaked when used. Both items were noted by owner and advised they would look into. The vacuum quit working properly and owner quickly got us a replacement mailed to the condo within a week. Our main issues/concerns were after check out and found out several questionable business practices. We were informed via email that "owner" said we damaged/cracked the inside of the refrigerator plastic draw at the bottom which I do not believe we did or even noticed during our time at the condo. This could have been by done by anyone in the past or considered normal wear-tear in a rental property. VRBO claimed owner had submitted pics of damage and after review was a closed claim. I was denied access of pics by VRBO after several phone calls to them. Pics could have been from anywhere? Damage deposit was a partial refund and the bogus refrigerator claim was held from deposit. So the way this process is set up owner can claim what ever they want and VRBO was not helpful in resolving this. The other questionable, (legal?) issue was we were charged a foreign transaction fee on this entire rental. I know the owners live in Canada but why did we get charged a fee on the CC on this rental. We are USA citizens living in the USA, renting a property in the USA and don't recall every seeing any disclaimer about foreign fees in the contract. When questioning VRBO about this, I was told they didn't have any record of fees being charged and would not pursue this claim. We paid VRBO a $499 service fee in the beginning of this rental and strongly feel we did not receive the needed attention to resolve these concerns. Condo itself was adequate and price point was fair but would not recommend using this owner or VRBO for any future needs.
