The house is beautiful and in a great location. Definitely get a golf cart to get around! Owners provide plenty of info to ensure your prorated for a great stay. Views are wonderful!

Casa del Cielo is an absolutely beautiful property!! Like others have said, the pictures truly do not do the property justice. Having your coffee in the morning or enjoying a glass of wine or margarita at sunset looking out over that beautiful view was probably the highlight of our stay there. The house is in a traditional Mexican style and is so beautifully appointed. You can tell the owners pay attention to details and have a wonderful home, from the decor to all of the little things needed in a house you plan to cook in for a week (like us). The house is very well maintained and has everything you will need!! The pool, patio and garden area were wonderful. It was so nice to have your own private pool area that also has a sunshelf/ splash area for littles. The pool does need some love, but the owners informed us they plan on addressing for future guests. The house is completely safe and secure despite being open to the elements. Please make sure you know this is an OPEN AIR home, which means NO air conditioning and any animals that may be included in that. Lol. We were fully prepared for that and had no issue. There are tons of fans to manage even the most humid of nights (we visited during the most humid part of the year). The wifi worked well and there was cable although we barely watched TV with that pool and the view. The owners were wonderful with the entire process from beginning to end. I particularly found their suggestions for food, medical, conveniences, shopping, etc. unbelievably detailed, thorough and extremely helpful. The location and proximity to town cannot be beat. It's high on a hill but amazingly close to town at the same time. We mostly used the back garden steps down to the town and found that was the quickest way to get to town, at most a 5 minute walk. I can imagine anyone with mobility issues may find it difficult to manage the steepness from the house to/from town from either entrance to the house on foot. We were just fine on even with our 5 year old. However, I would recommend a golf cart for anyone with mobility issues or who don't do well on cobblestone streets or uneven pavement. Anything you need is probably within two blocks of the house in either direction...groceries, food, beer/liquor, fresh produce, fresh tortillas, fresh fish, pharmacies, health center, shopping, etc. Thank you Karen and George for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home!! Without a doubt, this was the most beautiful week that I’ve been able to enjoy on the Pacific Coast of Mexico. Karen is a delightful host and Alma is simply wonderful. Sayulita is a colorful, active, lively place-made so much more comfortable and soothing by a lovely stay in a beautiful home. Everything from arrival to departure was simply wonderful. We were blown away by the beauty, authenticity and generosity of this house. Situated atop a steep hill, 10-15 minutes away from town and the main beach, this house was perfect for our young family but also for a larger group. Every detail of this home was beautiful in a very authentic way. We were very impressed by the small details of the home, from the art to the furniture to the fact that we had jugs of fresh water and tooth brushes. The owner and the house keeper were both top notch regarding performance and communication. This home made for a spectacular vacation and we could not possibly recommend it more.

This was our first time staying in Sayulita for the whole duration of the vacation ( we stayed and visited before for shorter periods) and we loved it. The property is on the steep hill so beware if you are older or have some mobility cocerns but there are golf carts rentals and as for us it was a welcomed excersise after nightly and daily tours of local bars and restaurants. Property is beautiful and the owner was very helpful with local tips and information and some minor issues we had. We love Sayulita!

We loved staying at Casa del Cielo with family and friends. It was nice to be out of town but within walking distance. We ended up walking everywhere. I'd recommend bringing ear plugs because you can hear the music in town late into the night. The pool, open kitche/eating area, and views were spectacular!

We enjoyed our stay at the Casa . It was perfect for our family. We rented a golf cart and used it to go up and down the hill. The younger in the group did the stairs . The home is nice and really gives you feel of being in Sayulita. Many places to buy groceries fresh fruit whatever you need. Great to go out to eat too. Beach is fantastic for swimming all ages. The home sits up high on the hill which allows for beautiful views and away from the busy town but minutes to get to the action. Hope to back soon

Our family loved staying in this house- so much outdoor space!

This is a great house for a family. Beautiful view of Sayulita in a very open home. If you do not take offense at the occasional geckos, a few bugs, and the sometimes noisy neighbors, I would highly recommend you give this home a try.

We took our kids and their partners to Sayulita for Christmas. The house was perfect. Alma cooked a couple of meals for us and they were wonderful. We rented a golf cart, which we used every day because the house does sit up on a steep hill. There are steps down to the street which the kids used most of the time. I would definitely come back to the house and to Sayulita.

The casa was perfect. My family and I were very comfortable. We had everything we needed. The Mexican art was beautiful, and the open air floor plan made for a nice breeze and spectacular views. I hope to come back very soon.

We loved this place! The property is beautiful, and the view of the ocean, beach, and town is amazing. We had never stayed in an open air home before, we really enjoyed the experience. On days where the breeze was less it was kind of hot/humid, but we could easily hop in the pool or move some fans around to cool off. Feeling like we were outdoors but in the shade and with the comforts of a home was pretty cool, we love birds and lizards and trees and plants so it was perfect for us. Kitchen is well stocked. Clean. Nice towels and bedding. Host provided a lot of helpful information and was prompt and easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great time at Casa de Cielo! The open air concept was beautiful. and the views spectacular! We were terrified of encountering scorpions but never saw one - only bats and geckos! No AC was a little rough (but Karen warned us) and the pool made all the difference. Karen was super responsive and the caretakers of the home were lovely and made the most delicious dinners for us!

We had such a great experience here. We stayed at the house in late July and even with the heat, I loved every moment of our time at this property. The ceiling fans and sea breezes made it doable. We also loved the dramatic thunderstorms that rolled in at night at this time of year. The view was stunning, the walk to town and beach was just right, the house was lovely and charming, and the pool kept the kids entertained. Sayulita was just dreamy. I wound return to this property in a heartbeat. Thank you Karen for sharing your lovely home with us!

This property is stunning. Not only is it overlooking the town and ocean, but the amenities make it an all around little paradise. There is high security with many doors and locks so we felt very safe. Since it is perched on a hill it is a bit of a walk from the center of town, but very doable, and quite honestly very nice at night when trying to sleep as the town remains awake throughout the wee hours. I would highly recommend for a group of 5 or more, but also be aware that there is no air conditioning and the living spaces (not the bedrooms) are open so bugs and bats, etc do fly around at night especially with lights on. We never found this to be a problem, nor did it bother us, but something you may want to consider.

Plenty of room for my family of 8. We enjoyed the pool , outside shower , AMAZING view and Alma cooked us a delicious dinner that fed us for days ....

We had a wonderful time in Sayulita and enjoyed this home immensely. The location was perfect-minutes to downtown and the beach. The owner was very helpful and quick to respond with any needs. I highly recommend this location!

This home was perfect for our two families to enjoy a week long vacation in Sayulita. It a great view overlooking the town and ocean and is relatively short walk to town, although we rented a cart to get around. We would happily stay here again.
