Location and amenities are the best:
My kids loved the community pool, the beach, the rentals available (SUP, kayaks), and the play structure which are all right in your backyard. I loved being able to walk to everything like walking trails, dinner and shops.
The property itself is very clean and has plenty of room to spread out. The balcony was great and has such pretty sunset views over the lake. Could it be updated? absolutely, but everything is functional. Because of the risk of bears, there's less condiments than you would normally find (but for good reason). The one thing I do actually want to see them update are the pots and pans. The chipping cook surfaces are incredibly unsafe to use. Everything else in the condo is functional and perfectly adequate.
Definitely would stay here again. Owner was responsive and kind.

The sofa bed is a bit thin but the main 2 bedrooms are fine. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensil.

The whole experience was seamless! The condo is “rustic”, but reminded me of my childhood family place. It truly saved our vacation after the rental we had booked 4 months in advance arbitrarily cancelled! Thanks Jamie!

This property is in need of a serious upgrade and cleaning
This property needs a massive investment. There is a need for a serious cleaning. Don't even look at the filters you have been warned and yes you will be breathing all that dust. Many dishes are chopped and must be thrown away/replaced. Eating from these chopped and cracked dishes is a serious health hazard. The master BR king size bed is a complete nuisance as it leaves about a foot between the bed and the wall. Your knees will bump into one or another, especially at night and yes, they'll be crying BIG time... The master BR mattress is very old and as such had some very soft spots and uneven lines. Terrible for your low back which will be crying every morning...
A real shock was the fact that the property has no beach items, nothing, not even beach chairs...

A+ Lake Location
Wonderful location on the Lake. It's hard to find budget-friendly condos on the lake but this older development fits the bill. Walking distance to Tahoe City eateries and galleries. Easy walk up rentals for SUP or kayaks at the public beach next door. Tennis, small pool were loads of fun too. The condo is tidy. Best for one family or two couples, with it's 2/2 format. Kitchen had what we needed. It's not deluxe but it was comfortable and clean. Some street noise from back bedroom that faces the main road through town but the development gets quiet by 10am on the lawn/lake facing side. We hope to return.

Great option for tahoe
We really enjoyed our stay. We rented a buoy for our boat at the property and it worked out well. Jamie (the owner) is super responsive which was a huge plus. The location is wonderful and there's a nice farmers market right next door on Thursdays. Restaurants around tahoe are struggling for staff right now so make reservations well in advance or hit the grocery store and cook in. I would absolutely stay here again.

Perfect winter weekend!
We really enjoyed this home! We are not snow savvy, but this place made it easy to take our kids on a great snow adventure. Driving there was super easy, it had a covered parking space and all the comforts of home. There was a snow covered park right next door that our kids spent most of their time playing at, and a winter snow sport center (sledding, ice skating, cross country skiing) right across the street. What more could you ask for! We will definitely return!

Great location with stunning views
The property was a great base for skiing - a VERY short walk to Tahoe City and a very short drive to Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows. It was perfect for two couples - good space and facilities. Booking and checking in was fast and easy.
The only areas i’d suggest for improvement would be to the lighting in the second bedroom and also somewhere to put skis/boards (eg a tray inside the front door as we didn’t want to make any marks/wet areas).
Overall a great stay - would love to stay again if we have the opportunity!

Great Location, Nice Owners!
This condo was perfectly located in Tahoe City with walking distance to the lake and areas in town. This condo was also a great location for us to go drive to parks for hikes. The condo itself just needs brighter lights and the mattresses were very hard/firm and an egg crate or pillow top would have made it more bareable. Besides the lighting and firm beds, it was great for us and we would highly consider staying at this location again. The owners communicated well with us and the management company was also nice and helpful.

Great views and location
The unit is very clean with great views from the main living space. Kitchen has all the pans/pots you will need. The location of the unit makes it easy to walk the town. The property is also very well maintained with a nice pool and tennis courts. Would stay there again.
Only one small negative, The walls are a little think between units and floors but fairly standard for a multi unit vacation property. Bonus is there is not another unit above you.

We loved the location and the view.
The condo was very cozy with the exception of a couple deadly serious issues. Above all being the mouse or rat feces that was all over everything on the deck. We couldn't eat or sit out there and when we tried we ended up with poop in our wine glasses.Big turn off.The garbage disposal had no rubber ring and threw food all over you when used. The guest bed is so hard ,we had guests leave because they were so miserable and tired. The upstairs was very comfortable and although very old, we had fun cooking in the kitchen.All in all, we had a GREAT time and so did our guests.

Best Vacation Ever!!!
I have been coming to Tahoe since I was a little girl and my parents briefly owned a small lakeside motel in the 70's (Poco Beach Resort) in Tahoe Vista. I continued the tradition with my own family, bringing them here for summer vacation - fireworks on the 3rd in Kings Beach, Tahoe City on the 4th and rafting down the Truckee. I decided to try a new place, more convenient to everything and this is absolutely it! The best place for watching fireworks, either from the balcony or the Lakefront's private beach. The home is on 2nd and 3rd floor and although it shares walls with other units, you do not hear a thing so they must be well insulated. The living and dining area is perfect with great views of the lake and plenty of seating for dinners in and comfy sofas for relaxing after a day on the water. The bedrooms/bathrooms are nice sized and I slept like a baby. Fans are provided if you like white noise but the area is very peaceful and quiet.
Commons Beach is a very short walk away and it has great summer time bands on the beach on Sundays and movies on Wednesdays. There is a beautiful walking trail that follows the lake from Commons to the Marina where there is the Boatworks Mall and Jakes as well as gift shops.
The Arno's communicated throughout to make sure we had everything we needed even going so far to tell me that the River had opened up for rafting while we were here.
I have stayed at other properties from Zephyr Cove to Olympic Village and even have a timeshare and THIS IS MY FAVORITE! Thanks Jamie and family for sharing your beautiful home!

Snowy escape
My family and I just returned home after a week at The Arno's Tahoe home. This was a return visit after we'd spent a week there last Friday. In a season of epic snow the skiing didn't disappoint and never did the house. Fantastic location for everything in Tahoe City. Perfect size for a family of 4 (or in our case 3); wonderful views of the lake from the living area when it wasn't blocked by snow clouds. Very comfortable beds and excellent furniture through out. The property managers successfully cleared stairways and driveways in challenging conditions. We hope to be back!

Cozy, clean, well-stocked, and perfectly located!
The home was comfortable with cozy sofas and beds. The bathrooms are perfectly sized. Hotel type amenities were provided plus more. We were able to cook the whole weekend we stayed there because hey supplied everything we needed (minus the food of course). Measuring cups, toaster, pots, plates, etc. The home was came with clean towels and sheets were provided. But the best part was the location, we walked to Moes BBQ, the brewery, and Pete n' Peters. All less than .5 a mile. We ended our trip with a walk on the snow covered beach which was basically across from the home. We would stay here again!

Wonderful Family Weekend Getaway
We were lucky enough to score this awesome condo for a last minute extended weekend and we couldn't have been more thrilled with the place. It was walking distance to everything in town, the kitchen was fully stocked, the pool was warm and right off the lake, the beach was steps away and there was a children's playground right around the corner. One night we sat on the deck and watched the full moon rise over the lake with a glass of wine. What more could you ask for? We'll definitely be back.

Very nice, but with important caveats
Lovely views, central location, comfortable living and dining areas. Well- equipped kitchen. Two important caveats keep us from saying we can recommend this rental. First, the queen bed in the small bedroom is very uncomfortable -- a thin, very hard mattress-- so much so we literally had to go purchase a memory foam topper otherwise it was going to ruin our vacation. With the memory foam, it wasn't great, but atleast we could sleep. Second-- and more minor-- be aware the back bedroom is close enough to the road that light sleepers may find the road noise difficult. It wasn't an issue for me but my husband who is a light sleeper found the weekend nights too noisy.

Best Stay Ever!
We really wanted to share with you how much we enjoyed your "piece of heaven" here at lake Tahoe!! Aside from your gorgeous view, your condo was so warm, welcoming, and comfortable!! We loved the fully equipped kitchen, and not having to buy salt and pepper. :)! Your furniture , beds, etc...were so comfortable - our son, 11 years old, and I played many games of gin rummy while enjoying the view - awesome deck! Thank you for the memories!

Perfect Location
My family of 4 so enjoyed this vacation rental. It is in the perfect location. You can walk to everything in Tahoe City with easy access to kayaking, boating, concerts, restaurants and beaches. It has an amazing view as well. However, make sure to take out property damage insurance that is offered through VRBO. When we arrived the carpet was dirty and we notified the owner right away so we would not be charged for it. We took the time to go to the hardware store to fix the sliding screen door and washed and put away the dishes from the prior renters. Upon our return I find a claim was filed against the property damage insurance for a broken dining chair that we were not aware was broken nor did we break. Enjoy this amazing property but protect yourself.

Great family getaway!
My family enjoyed this very nice condo. The location is great. Very nice to walk to dinner or activities after the long days on the road. Quiet grounds, peaceful views from the deck, nice pool and tennis courts. Kids kayaked in the lake/bay while we sat at the end of the pier and enjoyed the views. Thursday Farmers Market was a treat, Wed movies in the park was fun - a lot of fun things to choose from! Tahoe City is one of the best places to stay around the lake and this condo puts you in the middle of it all. Jamie was very easy to work with and quick to respond. Can't wait to go back!

This condo was the perfect location to enjoy all Tahoe City has to offer. Easy access to the beach and restaurants. Beautiful views of the lake while sitting outside on the deck. The condo was perfect for 6 people. Jamie was so easy to correspond with. Overall, excellent experience and we'd definitely Italy stay again.

Wonderful family getaway
We had a wonderful vacation with 3 generations of family members during the last week of June. We enjoyed the views of the lake, including many thousands of lupine in bloom. We had fun in the swimming pool, loved our lakeside walks through the blooming lupine, and relaxed over family dinners cooked in the well-equipped kitchen. We also walked to excellent restaurants, cooked on the grill (on the unit's balcony) and walked just steps from the condo to the Thursday morning farmers market, Sunday night free concert and Wednesday night movie (all on Commons Beach). The location was fabulous and the family room, dining room and kitchen provided more than plenty of hang out space for our group of 5 people.

We had a wonderful time staying at this complex, and would return in a heartbeat! The place itself was clean, well-kept, and absolutely charming inside. The real kicker though was the breathtaking view directly from the balcony, including chairs and a BBQ.
The staff was lovely and helpful, the location was extremely convenient, and the condo was quaintly cozy. All of our friends had a blast, and will definitely be returning.

This was my second time back to the property and I didn't think it would top the first time, but it did! Last time I stayed in the winter months, this time summer. WOW!!! Gorgeous lake view, lots of stuff to do in Tahoe City and wonderful place to relax. This is the place to stay. The condo is fabulous. The owner is wonderful to work with and the location is perfect! I left a bag in the closet and contacted the owner and she made arrangements for me to get it. Can't wait to book again.

The owner was wonderful to work with, the condo itself is lovely, well equipped, and comfortable, and the Tahoe Marina Lodge pool, tennis courts, and lake access are great. If you go in summer you don't need your car - bring bikes and you can ride around town for anything you need. We'll definitely be back when we can stay longer!

Our family (Mom, Dad, 5-year-old and 7-year-old daughters) stayed at this lovely condo on Saturday night, March 9, and absolutely loved it. The owner was extremely nice and communicative, and the condo itself was beautiful, very clean, and well-equipped. Our only regret was that we didn't stay longer! We will definitely be back. The condo is situated on two levels-- the bedrooms are downstairs (2 br/2 ba) and the gorgeous kitchen/dining room/living room with fireplace are upstairs.
There is a lovely view of Lake Tahoe from the living room and master bedroom, and we shared wine and cheese in front of the fire...it was heavenly. There is wood and a starter log/kit included with the rent, and many other amenities we didn't even have a chance to try! We loved this place...AND it is super-convenient-- 5 - 10 minutes from Squaw (where we skied) and walking distance to many yummy local restaurants-- Jiffy's Pizza ("voted #1"), the Blue Agave (Mexican), Tahoe Mt. Brewing Company, and many more...
We will definitely be back!
