Enjoyed our visit and the property.

Main cottage housed my oldest son's wife and family of 4, ages 8,6,3.2 comfortably upstairs, my wife and I in the comfortable king room downstairs, and my 26 year old son in a separate room with his own shower - plenty of space. The middle cottage was perfect for my daughter and her husband, and their three children ages 4, 2, and 4 months. The smallest cottage held my other son, his wife and daughter of 2 very very well. Everyone had their own space and we gathered in the yard for evening meals and family fires. Great place, very responsive hosts and wonderful location. Highly recommend it!

We stayed in Douglas as part of a family trip and surprise for my sister's 50th birthday. The cottages were lovely - clean, well stocked, and ready for our group. The cottages were adorable - very lakeside preppy. We loved using the grills, picnic table, and fire pits. It really was perfect for our family trip. Convenient location and plenty of private parking.

3 generations used this property for a family vacation. All ages really enjoyed it and the large backyard was great for all the sports they wanted to play. The picnic tables placed in the shade were great for our suppers each evening. And of course s’mores by the campfire on the last night. It is close to beaches and shopping.

Great location, close to shops, beaches, and walking distance to coffee shop and root beer stand. Great quick response from owner regarding questions! Excellent for multi family get together with young children.

We had a lovely visit in Douglas/Saugatuck. The Willow Tree Cottages was a perfect fit for our family. Cozy and conveniently located.

Our stay at Willow Tree was absolutely everything we could have imagined!! The cottages are each quaint and accommodating with everything you need for a relaxed stress free time. The yard was perfect for all and we especially enjoyed the nighttime fire pit. Added note……the firewood was provided!!!!! Bonus! Touring downtown Douglas and Saugatuck, we absorbed the arts and appreciated the small town vibe. This is a place to revisit, for sure. Thank you!

We were in town for the weekend to attend a wedding. This place is very convenient. It was clean, well stocked and quite charming. It allowed the 14 of us to stay very comfortably. the backyard is great as a gathering place for the entire group at the nd of the day. Angie, the owner, was very responsive to all inquires and went out of the way to ensure we were accommodated. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the Douglass/Saugatuck area.

Great property and super convenient for what we needed.

Had my kids and grandkids here for vacation. A really nice place to stay and relax. We did shopping, walking, jet skiing, sailing and relaxing. The only downside we saw was the wi-fi connection which was very sketchy…

This place was great and clean. It worked perfect for our group of friends who were bringing our families together.

This was the PERFECT place for our family's reunion. It was so clean, tons of space, beds and bathrooms for everyone; the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to make meals for your family (pots, pans, etc.) and there were plenty of beds and linens/towels for everyone. The outside area is also very nice with lots of grills and a super great fire pit for relaxing. It's also incredibly close to Saugatuck and was very easy to get to everything. Definitely recommend this spot if you're staying in the Douglas/Saugatuck area.

The property is adorable. It's only short comings were no place to unpack. There were no drawers or shelves to put things on and few hangers to hang. The scatter rugs around were not good for our group. My husband is 80 and doesn't always pick up his feet therefore bunching up the rugs. We enjoyed bon fires on two nights and eating out on the deck. We had a wonderful time.

We had a great time at this property - plenty of room for all our family! Very clean and close to coffee shops, restaurants and activities for for the kids. Really enjoyed our stay!

I couldn't wait to do this review and say what a FANTASTIC place this was to stay at! We had a family wedding in Saugatuck, therefore looked for accommodations for approx 15+ family members to stay together. The 1 cottage was perfect for the Mom/Dad and Son/Daughter in law to stay in and the 2nd cottage was perfect for the Bride's parents to stay in. The Main House held 2 families, gramma and all the kids stayed in the bunk room. I brought a king size blow up mattress to put in the bunk room and it was PERFECT all the cousins got to stay together! The back yard was amazing for us to play Cornhole, sit around a bonfire, lay in the hammock, and we even warmed up left over wedding food and put it on the bar table outside for our own buffet. Weather was beautiful! The living room was large enough for everyone to watch the horse race and we ended the night by everyone playing card games at the dining room table. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying here! Angie and her cleaning staff were absolutely AMAZING! Everyone commented how clean the cottages smelled. Some family members even talked about making this an annual event! I can't say enough about how AMAZING this place is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our family, a total of 18 stayed here to attend our sons wedding. It was nice to have the main house and the 2 cottages - that way we could all be together but also have our own space when needed. The big yard was great for the children to play in and for eating and grilling outside.

We were very pleased with the cottages. They worked well for our large family. Clean and ready to move in! The owner responded quickly when we needed her. Lovely backyard and fire pit. One disappointment was that Douglas Beach is closed due to erosion.

We had four families staying here, and it held all of us comfortably. Angie was wonderful to work with!

Property is beautiful, comfortable and clean with fully equipped kitchens for your stay. My group loved it and will return next year.

This place was perfect for our group of four families. We had plenty of room to not feel overcrowded, but there was enough common space inside and outside for us to all hangout together. The backyard with its deck and fire pit was a great place for an end of summer bbq.

I was first attracted to this property on VRBO thanks to it not having a week-long rental requirement. Our family of 20 would have no way to coordinate that. We stayed Wednesday to Sunday. The property is gorgeous, clean and offers convenient access to nearby attractions. The main house kitchen is spacious enough to prepare and serve large meals. Each family enjoyed privacy in their own space. Loved the outdoor fire pit and large front yard area for the kids to play. The Saugatuck/Douglas/Holland offers so many attractions: history, go karts, the Art Barn, the beach and the adorable downtown area with fabulous bars, restaurants and shops. Highly recommend this home! Thank you for your hospitality!

We had a great time! It was perfect for our needs with little kids. Oval beach was great! We definitely could have stayed a few more days!

Such a great spot, adorable cottages in an awesome location!

The cottages were neat and clean. The kitchen was well equipped. The shaded back yard patio allowed us to enjoy our time outdoors. The Owl Cottage is handicapped accessible so that our grandson in a wheel chair was able to be a part of our fun.

We had a wide variety of ages in our group (2 to 77). This property allowed for flexibilty of schedules with some separate space and then a space for everyone to come together. Location was also great and our group hopes to stay again sometime!

Rented this property for a girls trip and the cabins and property were beautiful! It was clean and spacious for all of us, and the property was in a great location. Angie was extremely responsive and helpful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottages. I have rented from quite a few places and this one was very well appointed - they thought of just about everything and communication was fantastic! The cabins were clean, quiet, cozy and welcoming. Beds were comfortable and they had spare blankets rolled up and waiting for snuggling on the couch or extra warmth for sleeping. We had 13 and it worked out perfectly. For a group larger than that, unless you have some smaller kids, bed situation would get tight, as you would be sharing some queen and double beds (unless you use the 2 pullouts in the smaller cottages) which I would think would get tight, but that is just coming from a group of ladies that like their space when we have the chance to get away. It is a great location, walking distance to beach and Douglas town center or a quick taxi ride to Saugatuck. We had a blast and would definitely look to book here again! Only minor suggestion would be to add a full length mirror somewhere in a hall because when the bathrooms are full and folks are trying to get ready to go out, it would be nice to have an extra mirror (or 2) elsewhere in the cabins aside from the bathrooms. Overall wonderful stay!

Our family of 15 rented all 3 cottages and we had room to spare! Comfy and pretty cottage decor and great kitchens made our stay easy to use and so much fun! Central and close to several beaches as well as walking distance to one beach and downtown Douglas. We plan to go back next year!

We had a lovely time staying here, it was a family trip, the house and cottages were perfect, great yard with everything we needed and close to everything. Angie was so attentive and answered all my questions so quickly, truly a wonderful place to stay!

We had a cousins reunion for 15 people. It was wonderful to break the families down into the different cottages, but have the main cottage for our central location. We had a fire pit and listened to music, cooked some wonderful fish on the awesome grills. The cottages had everything we needed. We couldn't have been happier at this wonder little compound!!!
