We have traveled extensively all over the US and Internationally. This is the worst maintained property we have ever stayed in. The rugs were disgusting, stained and worn - do not let a toddler play on them. There was hair from a prior tenant all over the master bath floor. The chairs and furniture covers were all stained extensively. The washer was almost unusable due to a bad spin cycle. The arm on one of the dining table chairs was falling off. We could go on but in short we would never stay there and there are many better places in OC were the owners maintain and take pride in their property

Great location, just 3 blocks from the boardwalk, and steps from a wonderful part of the OC beach. House has a good layout and was clean and comfortable for our family and guests (comfy beds, good layout). A little worn, stained master bedroom rug, uncomfortable metal deck furniture, and missing a few beach basics (no beach chairs or toys), scratched pots, tiny coffee pot and slow cooktop...something to be aware of if you like to cook at home. Overall recommend. A few simple additions would have made this a 5-star for our family.

This house was clean. And short walk to the beach. John the host is easy to get a hold of answers back in a very timely manor. Some minor issues were, the sofa is not comfortable, the master bed is squeeky probably because the bed is half on and half off an area carpet. Upstairs neighbors dumped water off the balcony and splashed all over my husband below while he was working but this is not a reflection on John at all. Besides the minor things We would absolutely stay again.

The pictures of the house are all accurate. We loved all the rooms (6 if you use the downstairs) but the best part clearly was the view from the deck. It was AMAZING!!! I could hardly drag myself to the beach because the view was so perfect. So peaceful and the location was perfect.

Appreciate the communication from the property owner

The house was as described : perfectly located, awesome viiews, with easy access to the beach. The inside was roomy and the kitchen was stocked with the essentials. The host was very informative and courteous. Overall a great stay. The only negative experience was with the neighbors: dumping water on us on the terrace below, party past midnight, the sound travels easily between units with the shared elevator.

My family and I recently stayed in this beautiful house in Ocean City. I almost cried when I saw the view from the 2nd floor outdoor space, which had plenty of seating and lounge chairs. The natural rolling dunes leading to the ocean was breathtaking. The sound of the waves was mesmerizing. The furnishings were comfortable and tastefully done. We all slept peacefully on the comfortable beds. John was a wonderful host. We had a few questions once inside, and he promptly answered them. My only regret was not being able to stay longer. Looking forward to going back to this great house! Kathy C.

stayed for five nights. with my family and a couple of boy/girl friends. there was plenty of room. the family area is so wide open and airy. plenty of room to spreadout and enjoy each other. the view from the balcony was absolutely amazing. got up every morning to watch the sunrise. you could hear the waves day and night. it was always pleasent to sit on the balcony. the beach was right in front of us and an easy walk. the beach was clean and practically empty. When the tide was out it was huge also. we went here to get away on the first anniversary of a sad event for our family and the peacefulness of this place and OCNJ in general made it a little easier for us. We will return.

Good location and great view of ocean.

We just moved from NJ to Atlanta. We’ve vacationed in OCNJ for 10 years. It was great to be back. House was great.

I can't say enough about how great this property is. The location is phenomenal as we could walk right onto the beach. The boardwalk was a quick drive away but was also within walking distance, if you were up to a long walk in the evening. The neighborhood was quiet and the parking couldn't have been better as we had access to a garage and the driveway. There were more than enough bathrooms for our large group and the master suite was a vacation unto itself. There was an outdoor shower on the lower level patio so cleaning up three kids after a day on the beach was easy. One of the things that we needed for a member of our group was an elevator. This amenity worked perfectly and made our trip possible. The balcony had an amazing view. We began each day enjoying our breakfast to the sounds and sights of the beach and ocean. At night we could see the boardwalk in the distance and enjoy the evening breeze blowing in from the water. We had occasion to communicate with the owner during and after our stay. All of our questions were answered quickly and he was a pleasure to rent from. We look forward to our next visit to OCNJ and will definitely be staying here again!

Was the perfect escape. Awoke everyday to the spectacular views and the sound of the ocean. The house was well equipped and can't wait for our return trip.

We stayed here last weekend for my so s birthday with some family and it was the perfect house. The views of the ocean and the dunes are stunning and the bonus room on the first floor is perfect for the kids to play. John was very responsive and helpful during our stay. This property is highly recommended.

Perfect home for a large family or for entertaining a large group. Main great room is open and roomy and views are amazing. John the owner is always on call for any questions. Had a great vacation.

Lovely beach setting, perfect for walks, very clean and plenty of space

We enjoyed our time in the family room/kitchen area with a wonderful view of the ocean. There were many spots to have alone time as well. Such a great house!

This spacious property has the perfect setting! The home is situated in a very nice and quiet neighborhood with a postcard view of the ocean! And it is very comfortable, clean and well maintained with nice furnishings. The kitchen is well equipped. And having direct access to the beach and being within just 2 blocks from the start of the boardwalk gave us great convenience. In our 30 years of renting homes in OCNJ, this property is the most outstanding. We hope to return soon!

John was a great host - excellent communication!! House was very spacious and clean. House had everything we needed. Ocean view was spectacular. We had a group of 8 golfers. Everyone had their own space. Definitely will be back again!

This property was well-maintained and extremely spacious. The location was also amazing since it is beachfront. In addition, the deck with ocean views was a great feature. We really enjoyed staying at this property.

Could not check in on time House very dirty

Our family spent the week of July 11th - 18th, 2020 and had a wonderful time!! Most of the week our group was 8 people but we had a one night with 10 and one night of12 (the night with 12, we used to bonus room). Being right on the beach was fabulous - so convenient to be able to get there with only a short walk and be able to go back and forth from the house as necessary. The views from the Great Room and the back porch were spectacular. The house is roomy, well appointed and generally well equipped. In the kitchen, there were plenty of dishes, glasses, silverware, fry pans, pots, etc. but no casserole type dishes (bring your own if you think you might want them). John was very responsive when I had questions or needed to notify him of something. As with any vacation home rental, there are a few downsides. It is a very spacious house but we did not realize from the listing that there is another unit that has the upper floor. So - depending on who is renting the other unit, be prepared for potentially lots of loud sounds and footfalls coming from above and also through the vents (during our week there was a family with lots of little kids constantly running around and screaming). It's the luck of the draw. The elevator is also shared with the other unit. WIFI is only really good in the Great Room where the router is. There are no blinds in the bonus room and the outdoor lights by the bonus room must be on a timer and so the light shines in most if not all of the night making it hard to sleep in that room. With that all said - the positives far outweigh the negatives - it's a beautiful place to stay.

We wanted to get away for a quick beach trip to self isolate during the onset of this pandemic craziness. The owner, John, was very accommodating. The property worked out perfect! Great location, spacious, clean, easy walk to the beach.

My entire family stayed here over Christmas this year, and the house was perfect for everyone. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a holiday meal, and plenty of space to hang out. The sun coming up every morning over the ocean was beautiful (although the downstairs room with the pull-out couch definitely could use some blinds to keep the kids from waking up so early). It was so nice to spend Christmas together all in one place!
